2.学习生词birthday, give, her, thing和get。

2.熟练读出Let's act教学易混点：give从结构上看是开音节词，但是个例外，i不读[ai]而读[i]。

教学过程：一．复习检查：1.复习生词：复习已学过的全部要求掌握的含元音字母a的闭音节单词及开音节单词，它们是an, am, and, bag, black, can, cap, cat, dad, fat, glad, hat, sad, thank, that, at, bad, cake, game, make,name, plate,race。
教师可读英文，让学生拼写出英文并写出中文词义，或说中文，让学生拼写出英文。
2.三分钟自由对话：叫若干对同座的同学站起来，用以前学过的对话内容自由对话。
二．导入Let's act：1.学习生词：Let's act的第一个情景共有5个生词，即birthday, give, her, thing和get。
教师可将这5个词及其词义写在黑板上，先让学生拼读闭音节词thing和get，再说明单词give从结构上看是开音节词，但是个例外，i不读[ai]而读[i]，其余两个单词由教师示范读几遍并让学生跟读。
说明字母组合ir和er常读作[E:]。
导入对话：2.可用简笔画情景教学法导入：教师出示两幅简笔画(见本书附录三)，并放两遍录音，边放录音边写上关键词birthday/nice things和get apples, pears, bananas。
然后让学生集体逐句说一遍，再逐句放录音，叫一些学生站起来，每人复述一句并说出中文意思。
