But he was not the only great master of play writing to die in 1616, and he is certainly not the only writer to have left a lasting influence on theater. While less known worldwide, Tang Xianzu is considered one of Chinas greatest playwrights and is highly spoken of in that country of ancient literary and dramatic traditions.Tang was born in 1550 inLinchuan,Jiangxiprovince. Unlike Shakespeare's large body of plays, poems and sonnets (十四行诗), Tang wrote only four major plays: The Purple Hairpin, Peony Pavilion (《牡丹亭》), A Dream under the Southern bough, and Dream of Handan. The latter three were constructed around a dream narrative, a way through which Tang unlocked the emotional dimension of human desires and ambitions and explored human nature beyond the social and political limits of that time.Similar to Shakespeare, Tang's success rode the wave of a renaissance (复兴) in theater as an artistic practice. As in Shakespeare'sEngland, Tang's works became hugely popular inChinatoo. During Tang'sChina, his plays were enjoyed performed, and changed. Kunqu Opera, a form of musical drama, spread from southernChinato the whole nation and became a symbol of Chinese culture. Combining northern tune and southern music, kunqu Opera was known for its poetic language, music, dance movements and gestures. Tang's works benefited greatly from the popularity of kunqu Opera, and his plays are considered classics of kunqu Opera. While Tang and Shakespeare lived in a world away from each other, there are many things they share in common, such e humanity of their drama, their heroic figures, their love for poetic language, a lasting popularity and the anniversary during which we still celebrate them.1. Why is Shakespeare mentioned in the first paragraph?A. To describe Shakespeare's anniversary.B. To introduce the existence of Tang Xianzu.C. To explain the importance of Shakespeare.D. To suggest the less popularity of Tang Xianzu.2. What's possibly one of the main theme of Tang's works?A. Social reality.B. Female dreams.C. Human emotions.D. Political environment.3. What does the author mainly tell us in Paragraph 4?A. The influence of Kunqu Opera on Tang's works.B. Tang's success in copying Shakespeare's styles.C. The way Kunqu Opera became a symbol of Chinese culture.D. Tang's popularity for his poetic language and music.BThe Rise of Voice TechnologyVoice technology has come a long way. Just a few years ago, it would have been unusable. But now, those who follow the technology know that it has got considerably better.Writing with your voice raises several interesting questions. How difficult is it actually? Human speech involves a lot more starting and stopping with errors and the need for repairing broken sentences than you may think. Even gifted speakers make mistakes. To turn the spoken word into reasonable writing requires lots of planning. You’ll need some kinds of notes or other organisers to make it work.Another question turning speech into writing raises is the style. How would writing make the change that people speak their writing rather than type? Chances are that it would come up with many more short sentences and more concrete language, which is good. It would probably also rely on prepared phrases a lot more often, which is not available when you are speaking quickly. To confirm this, a column was not written, but dictated (听写). It was composed from brief notes written down for structure only, and it was edited for length, with all of the original errors kept in. Here were the results. The first was that the literal accuracy was extremely high. There weren’t many cases wherethe software had heard one word incorrectly and written down another. But the other result was that the readability of this column was rather bad. Obviously, the blame is not with the technology at all, which turns out to be rather good. Speaking into writing relies on a better human brain than the one we currently possess. Writing is hard. There’s a reason it can’t be done at the speed of speech, in real time.To clarify the matter, this time paragraph breaks were added after the whole writing. Punctuations (标点) had to be spoken aloud, and after a full stop, the first word in the new sentence was capitalized automatically. Some minor punctuation marks were added to make it clearer. To improve accuracy, people “trained” the softwarebeforehand, reading a prewritten passage aloud. Actually it turns out to be more effective. All of these ensure the satisfactory completion of turning speech into writing.Language is the most important tool for human interaction, and voice is one beautiful part of language. With the maturity of modern technology, it has given birth to a great change in the human-computer voice interaction.4. According to the passage, which helps to turn speech into writing in terms of style?A. There is careful planning in advance.B. Errors and broken sentences are avoided.C. People type words as fast as they say them.D. The writing contains more prepared phrases.5. The author suggests that ______.A. human brains are responsible for poor dictated writing.B. writing with voice promises to improve the quality of writing.C. writing is an unnatural act that can hardly be learned and improved.D. technology has a long way to go in the human-computer voice interaction.7. What is the passage mainly about?A. Why people fully intend to turn speech into writing.B. What role voice technology plays in improving readability.C. Where the human-computer voice interaction is at an advantage.D. How voice technology enables the change from speech into writing.CClara Daly was seated on an Alaska Airlines flight from Boston to Los Angeles when a flight attendant asked an urgent(紧急的) question over the loudspeaker: “Does anyone on board know American Body Language?” She knew she needed to help.Clara, 15 at the time, pressed the call button. The flight attendant came by and explained the situation. “We have a passenger on the plane who’s blind and deaf,” she said. The passenger seemed to want something, but hewas traveling alone and the flight attendants couldn’t understand what he needed, according to PEOPLE magazine.Clara had been studying ASL for the past year to help with her dyslexia (阅读障碍) and knew she’d be able to spell on the man’s palm(手掌) by finger. So she unbuckled her seat belt, walked toward the front of the plane, and knelt by the aisle seat of Tim Cook, then 64. Gently taking his hand, she wrote, “How are you? Are you OK?” Cook asked for some water. When it arrived, Clara returned to her seat. She came by again a bit later because he wanted to know the time. On her third visit, she stopped and stayed for a while.“He didn’t need anything. He was lonely and wanted to talk,” Clara said. So for the next hour, that was what they did. She talked about her family and her plans for the future (she wants to be a politician). Cook told Clara how he had gradually become blind over time and shared stories of his days as a traveling salesman. Even though he couldn’t see her, she “looked attentively at his face with such kindness”, a passenger reported.“Clara was amazing,” a flight attendant told Alaska Airlines in a blog interview. “You could tell Cook was very excited to have someone he could speak to, and she was such a warm-hearted girl.” Cook’s reaction: “Best trip I’ve ever had.”Looking for ways to offer help? Start with this random(随时的) act of kindness that can change someone’s life right now.8. The flight attendant asked an urgent question because ________.A. the passenger was traveling aloneB. the plane was in a dangerous situationC. the passenger asked for something suddenlyD. none of the flight attendants could communicate with the passenger9. Why did Clara talk about her plans for the future?A. Because the flight attendant asked her to do so.B. Because she needed topics to go on talking with Cook.C. Because Cook hoped to understand teenagers better.D. Because she wanted to show her dream for the future.10. Which of the following words can best describe Clara?A. Kind and caring.B. Warm-hearted and brave.C. careful and calm.D. opened-minded and confident.11. The passage is mainly written to ________.A. tell a touching story of an amazing girlB. show the great importance of American Body LanguageC. encourage readers to give a hand kindly and randomlyD. show how kind the flight attendant was to help CookDGrowing up as kids we are told to share our toys and notto be selfish. We also live in an age when discussing our feelings is encouraged. But when does it all become too much? With new crazes trending all the time, such as dance challenges and wearing a carpet as a dress, the question is: when can sharing become oversharing on social media?“Oversharing” has become associated with social media, but it isn'texclusiveto this platform. Imagine you head to a party and meet x k w someone. Within five minutes they have revealed private details about their life. While some of us may try to escape these people, according to marriage advisor Carolyn Cole, this form of oversharing could come from a strong desire to connect with someone. But how does this translate to social media?Dr. Christopher Hand, a lecturer in cyberpsychology (网络心理学),says the more details people disclose, the less sympathy we express when things go wrong. It seems that searching for sympathy by oversharing is generally considered as negative rather than the cry for help it could really be.However, Dr. Hand's research also seems to suggest that the more we post on a platform, the more socially attractive we become-provided that the posts that we bang out are positive. Even back in 2015, Gwendolyn Seidman PhD said that we should avoid complaining and being negative online. We should also avoid showing off, especially about our love lives. It makes sense-if your date is going “that well", would you really have time to share a photo with text? So, how can you know if you are oversharing? Well, why not ask your friends in real life. They would probably be happy to tell you if your posts about your breakfast or your complaints about your lack of money really are too much.12. What does the underlined word “exclusive" in paragraph 2 mean?A. Unique.B. Similar.C. Relevant.D. Fundamental.13. Why do some people prefer oversharing at parties?A. To draw others' attention.B. To satisfy others' curiosity.C. To remove negative feelings.D. To develop good relationships.14. Which of the following may Dr. Hand agree with?A. Sharing more details online can attract more sympathy.B. Oversharing negative experiences is equal to crying for help.C. Sharing negative posts can't help one become socially attractive.D. Oversharing isn't likely to happen online when things go wrong.15. According to the text, what should be avoided for online sharing?A. Reflecting on past bad manners.B. Showing a great many expensive goods.C. Writing a recipe for a balanced breakfast.D. Recording unforgettable moments with friends.

B.C. D.【答案】B【解析】解:函数f(x)=ln|x|+|sinx|(−π≤x≤π且x≠0)是偶函数排除A. 如图所示,已知点G 是△ABC 的重心,过点G 作直线分别与AB ,AC 两边交于M ,N 两点(点N 与点C 不重合),设AB ⃗⃗⃗⃗⃗ =x AM ⃗⃗⃗⃗⃗⃗ ,AC ⃗⃗⃗⃗⃗ =y AN ⃗⃗⃗⃗⃗⃗ ,则1x +1y−1的最小值为( ) A. 2B. 1+√2C. 32D. 2+2√2【答案】A【解析】解:∵G 为△ABC 的重心,∴AG ⃗⃗⃗⃗⃗ =23×12(AB ⃗⃗⃗⃗⃗ +AC ⃗⃗⃗⃗⃗ ) =13(x AM ⃗⃗⃗⃗⃗⃗ +y AN⃗⃗⃗⃗⃗⃗ ) 又∵G 在线段MN 上,∴13x +13y =1 ∴x +y =3 ∴x +(y −1)=2 ∴1x +1y −1=12[x +(y −1)](1x +1y −1) =12(1+1+x y −1+y −1x ) ≥12(2+2)=2 故选:A . (−∞,e]B. (−∞,e)C. (−e,+∞)D. [−e,+∞)【答案】A【解析】解:∵函数f(x)=e xx+k(lnx−x)的定义域是(0,+∞),∴f′(x)=e x(x−1)x2+k(1−x)x=(e x−kx)(x−1)x2.x=1是函数f(x)的唯一一个极值点∴x=1是导函数f′(x)=0的唯一根.∴e x−kx=0在(0,+∞)无变号零点,令g(x)=e x−kxg′(x)=e x−k①k≤0时,g′(x)>0恒成立.g(x)在(0,+∞)时单调递增的g(x)的最小值为g(0)=1,g(x)=0无解②k>0时,g′(x)=0有解为:x=lnk0<x<lnk时,g′(x)<0,g(x)单调递减lnk<x时,g′(x)>0,g(x)单调递增∴g(x)的最小值为g(lnk)=k−klnk∴k−klnk>0∴k<e,由y=e x和y=ex图象,它们切于(1,e),综上所述,k≤e.故选:A. 设向量a⃗=(1,−1),b⃗ =(m,2),若a⃗⊥b⃗ ,则|a⃗−2b⃗ |=______【答案】√34【解析】解∵:a⃗=(1,−1),b⃗ =(m,2),且a⃗⊥b⃗ ,∴a⃗⋅b⃗ =1×m−1×2=0∴m=2,∴a⃗−2b⃗ =(1−2m,−5)=(−3,−5),则|a⃗−2b⃗ |=√9+25=√34故答案为:√34由a⃗⊥b⃗ ,可知a⃗⋅b⃗ =0,结合向量的数量积可求m,进而可求a⃗−2b⃗ ,代入模长公式可求. 当0<x ≤32时,f(x)=log 2(x +3),则f(2)+f(3)=______. 【答案】2【解析】解:∵函数f(x)的图象关于x =32对称; ∴f(x)=f(3−x);又f(x)是R 上的奇函数,且0<x ≤32时,f(x)=log 2(x +3); ∴f(0)=0;∴f(3)=f(3−3)=f(0)=0,f(2)=f(3−2)=f(1)=log 24=2; ∴f(2)+f(3)=2. 对于数列{a n },n ∈N ∗,定义a n =[n10]+[n102]+[n103]+⋯+[n10k ],其中k 是满足10k ≤n 的最大整数,[x]表示不超过x 的最大整数,如[2,5]=2,[3]=3,则 (Ⅰ)a 2018=______;(Ⅱ)满足a m =100的最大整数m 为______. 【答案】223 919【解析】解:(Ⅰ)由10k ≤2018,则k =3, 则f(2018)=[n10]+[n102]+⋯+[n10k ]=[201810]+[2018100]+[20181000]=[201.8]+[20.18]+[2.018]=201+20+2=223;(Ⅱ)当m =1000时,k =3,此时f(1000)=[n10]+[n102]+⋯+[n10k ]=[100]+[10]+[1]=111>100,∴m <1000,即k =2,设三位数为m =a ×100+b ×10+c , 则f(m)=10a +b +a =11a +b =100,则当a =9时,b =1,此时m =900+10+c =910+c , ∴当c =9时,m 取得最大值为910+9=919, 故答案为:223,919.(Ⅰ)由10k ≤2018,则k =3,根据定义进行求解即可得到结论; (Ⅱ)讨论m =1000,m <1000,根据定义进行求解即可得到结论. 已知p :2x−1≤−1,q :(x +2a)(x −a −2)<0(a >0).(1)解不等式:2x−1≤−1;(2)若¬q 是¬p 的充分不必要条件,求a 的取值范围.【答案】解:(1)根据题意,2x−1≤−1⇔2x−1+1≤0⇔x+1x−1≤0⇔(x +1)(x −1)≤0且x −1≠0,解可得:−1≤x <1;故原不等式的解集为{x|−1≤x <1};(2)根据题意,a >0,则(x +2a)(x −a −2)<0⇔−2a <x <a +2; British Women Writers in different periods of timeThe English RenaissanceThe English Renaissance began in the later part of the fifteenth century and lasted until the 1660s. Among the most famous women writers of this period is Aphra Behn, who is seen as the first professional woman writer in English. She wrote a number of plays that dealt with topics such as racism and slavery. A good example is Oroonoko published in 1688. Aphra Behn's works include also the plays The Amourous Prince , The Town Fop , The Dutch Lover and heronly tragedy, Abdelazer .The neoclassical periodAmong the well-known women in Bristish literature during the neoclassical period, from 1660 to the end of the eighteenth century, is Anne Finch. She wrote poetry and tried to express all that she saw and experienced. Two other women are recognized for their contribution to neoclassical British literature: Mary Astell and Lady Mary Wortley Montagu. Mary Astell was a philosopher and a feminist writer. She is best known now for her theories on the education of women. The Romantic periodJane Austen is one of the most famous women writers that worked during the Romantic period (1798-1832). Her works include several novels, most of which focus on marriage as a way for young women to secure social standing and economic security. Her most famous novels are Pride and Prejudice , Senseand Sensibility and Emma . Another famous woman writer from the English Romanticism is Mary Shelley. She is the author of Frankenstein , History of Six Weeks Tour and The Last Man .The Victorian periodThe Victorian period, between the 1830s and 1900, was the time when the Bronte sisters, George Eliot and Elizabeth Gaskell lived and wrote. Charlotte Bronte, Emily Bronte and Anne Bronte produced many British literary classics. Charlotte's novels include Jane Eyre , Shirley , Villette and TheProfessor . Mary Anne Evans adopted the male pen name George as she wanted to set herself apart from the feminine genre of cookbooks and domestic moral tales. His mission was to transport breadfruit plants from the island of Tahiti to the West Indies. We know the popular story of this voyage and the rebellion, in which Bligh has been presented as hard, violent and thoroughly unpleasant captain. However, there is quite a lot of evidence to suggest that this picture is far from being true. He seems to have been unusuallythoughtful about the health and welfare of his men. For example he made sure that his crew got exercise, insisted on cleanliness on his ship, and adopted the practice of giving them a drink which prevented scurvy every day. When Captain Bligh arrived in Tahiti, it became clear that it would be some months before the breadfruit trees were ready to be taken to the West Indies. Instead of going off right away, he gave his crew extended shore leave. Thismay have been a mistake as many were unhappy about leaving when the time came. Finally, on the return journey the rebellion took place. The ship was under the command of the rebels and Captain Bligh had to leave in a small boat. Captain Bligh’s achievement was to get to dry land successfully. It is one of the supreme examples of seamanship. Apart from Bligh there were 18 members of his crew sailing in an open boat about 23 feet long and 7 feet wide. They took with them 25 gallons of water, 150 pounds of bread and 30 pounds of pork. They had no guns or other weapons. The boat was so low in the water that it seemed likely to sink at any time. On one occasion Captain Bligh tried to land on an island to get more water. He and his men were attacked by hostile natives and one of the crew was killed. At this point Bligh decided to sail directly to the Dutch settlement on the island of Timor without stopping. The distance was about 4,000 miles. The voyage took about 42 days and he had no advanced navigational equipment. However, his skill and commitment proved equal to the task and amazingly no one else died. It was truly a remarkable achievement.1.What is the popularly held view of Captain Bligh according to Paragraph 1?A. He was ski l lful.B. He was thoughtful.C. He was determined.D. He was unpleasant.2. It may have been a mistake that Bligh gave his crew extended shore leave because it caused ________ .A. the lack of drinkB. the death of the tressC. the unhappiness about leavingD. the challenges facing the small boat3.What problem did Bligh and his 18 men face after the rebellion?A. The threat from the rebels.B. Conflicts with local people.C. Attacks from marine animals.D. The possible sinking of the boat.4.What made Bligh’s 4000-mile voyage successful?A. The rebels’ abuse.B. His great seamanship.C. The crew’s decision.D. Modern navigational equipment.3. BEIJING — The launch of a new manned space mission brings China closer to the establishment of a permanent space station, international experts say. Chinese taikonauts, Jing Haipeng, 50, and Chen Dong, 37, were blasted off into space onboard Shenzhou- 11 at 7:30 am Monday and will spend 30 days in the Chinese space laboratory Tiangong-2.The launch marks a key step towardChina's plan to eventually operate a permanent space station . The successful launch of the Shenzhou -11 spacecraft is another step forward to put China among leading players in space technology, said Alexander Zheleznyakov, a Russian expert on history of space flights. China's experimental space labwill help provide solutions for spacecraft of different functions to approach and anchor, and for a long-term operation of life support system, said Zheleznyakov. Shenzhou- 11 is scheduled to anchor on Wednesday with Tiangong-2, which is part of China's plan to build a permanent space station by 2022.China can now test technologies for cargo spacecraft anchoring, life support system operation and water recycling to ensure a long-term continuousoperation of its space station in the future with less dependence on renewal from the Earth, he said. If all goes well, China will launch the unpiloted Tianzhou-1 cargo ship next spring to autonomously tie up with Tiangong-2. Tianzhou-1 will be capable of automatically transferring rocket fuels, a vital requirement for space station grouping and maintenance, according to a report by Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)."That will further their anchoring abilities needed for the larger space station," Johnson Freese was quoted." Tiangong-2 is supposed to be able to stay in orbit for two years or longer, so that's taking them (Chinese) really close to 2019 or so. I think this will be their last big technology test phase before going to their large space station," said Freese.1.Why did China launch Shenzhou-11 into space?A. To improve its launching ability.B. To show off its space progress.C. To set up a permanent space station.D. To replace the space lab Tiankong-2.2.Which of the following is designed to automatically transfer rocket fuels?A. Shenzhou-11.B. Tiangong-2.C. Shenzhou-1.D. Tianzhou-1.3.Which of the following can replace the underlined phrase “blasted off” in last paragraph?A. sent upB. gave awayC. swept offD. carried away4. Joseph Francis Charles Rock (1884–1962) was an Austrian-American explorer, botanist, and anthropologist(人类学家). For more than 25 years, he travelled extensively through Tibet and Yunnan, Gansu, and Sichuan provinces in China before finally leaving in 1949.In 1924, Harvard sent Joseph Fra ncis Rock on a treasure hunt through China’ssouthwestern provinces—the Wild West of their day. But gold and silverweren’t his task: Rock, a distinguished botanist, sought only to fill hisbags with all the seeds, saplings, and shrubs he could find. During his three-year expedition, he collected 20,000 specimens for the Arnold Arboretum(阿诺德植物园).Botany, though, was just one of Rock’s strengths. As an ethnologist(民族学者), he took hundreds of photographs of the Naxi, a tribe in Yunnan province, recording their now-lost way of life for both Harvard and National Geographic, and took notes for an eventual 500-page dictionary of their language. Hishand-drawn map of his travels through China’s “Cho-Ni” territory, in the Harvard Map Collection, includes more than a thousand rivers, towns, and mountains indicated in both English and Chinese, and was so well made that the U.S. government used it to plan aerial missions in World War II.Scientist, linguist, cartographer, photographer, writer—Rock was not a wallflower in any sense. Arrogant and self-possessed, he would walk into a village or warlord’s place “as if he owned the place,” said Lisa Pearson, the Arboretum’s head librarian. In declaring his successful return under the headline “Seeking Strange Flowers, in th e Far Reaches of the World,” the Boston Evening Transcript rana large photo of the daring explorer wearing in a woolly coat and fox-skin hat. “In discussing his heroism including hair-raising escapes from death either from mountain slides , snow slides and robber armies, he waves the idea away as if it is of no importance.”The Arboretum and Rock parted ways after 1927, mainly because his trip cost Harvard a fortune—about $900,000 in today’s dollars. Fortunately, many ofhis specimens, many of his amazing photos, and his great stories remain.1.What is the passage mainly about?A. Rock’s service for the U.S government.B. Rock’s cooperation with Harvard.C. Rock’s work as a botanist.D. Rock’s exploration in Southwest China.2.What contribution did Rock make to the USA besides collecting new plantsand specimens?A. He traveled through some uncivilized places in China.B. His hand-drawn map was used in World War II.C. He showed heroism by escaping difficulties.D. He made headlines in Boston Evening News.3.How did Rock respond when people mentioned his heroic deeds?A. Excitedly.B. Proudly.C. Calmly.D. Nervously.4.What caused Rock to stop work for The Arboretum?A. The vast expense.B. The dangerous journey.C. The challenging tasks.D. The unknown world.
