一般过去时表示过去某个时间发生 的动作或存在的状态，常和表示过去的 时间状语连用，如: yesterday, last weekend, last Sunday等。也表示过去经 常或反复发生的动作，常和often, always 等表示频度的时间状语连用。例如: I visited my grandparents last weekend.
