Lesson 2 的语言功能是使用句型“What are these? What are those? 询问这些是什么，那些是什么，并能用They are...做出答复，学习任务是使学生能纯熟掌握目的句型：“What are these? What are those? They are...及bear，rabbit，monkey 及三种动物的复数形式。
二．学情分析本单元的教学对象是小学三年级的学生，学生在第一课的根底上已经理解了本单元是学习有关动物的，所以学生对这个单元的学习充满了兴趣和学习热情，所以老师应以此为契机，用丰富的图片和巧妙的课堂设计最大程度的吸引学生的注意力和他们的童趣，让三年级的学生在轻松而又有和谐的课堂环境中掌握所学知识。
