HP台式机不能用GHOST XP的解决方法
朋友的一台HP品牌机因软件故障需要重装系统，轻车熟路的用U盘启动，进入PE，直接GHOST了一个XP的镜像，本认为这就完了，没想到，重启后，机器无法进入系统！系统提示：

看这意思应该是windows读不到硬件配置表题目，更换方式用其它版本的XP，故障依旧，在一次重启时突然发现，有一个提示F11：Recovey，啊，这个机器自带一键还原，是不是这个原因?不外刚才在PE里没见到有躲藏分区啊，在网上找了些资料，发现要在CMOS中选择Power management Setup，在选择WDRT Support后面值修改为disable，WDRT的含义是WatchDog Resource Table，资源表监督器，这应该是HP的比较独特的监督还原机制吧，可是为什么没有躲藏分区呢?可能是上次装机时，就已经把那个分区开释了，固然不影响使用，但一键还原的功能就没有了，而且还造成了本次错误。
这次的经验也告诉我们。有些品牌机器是有些不同哦一个台式机用系统盘GHOST后开机不能引导，居然是HP台式机BIOS设置造成的！


在PE下面和更换多个ghost版本后都无法解决。


用联想的OEM盘ghost可以正常启动。但是OEM版的没有驱动还需要激活。


最后通过hp的售后工程师找到了解决方法（刚开始有点不兴奋愿意说，好像是他们的贸易秘要）：


开机进入bios设置，选择Power management Setup ；在选择WDRT Support 后面值修改为disable。


wdrt support 此项可激活或封闭watchdog timer。选项：enabled（默认），disabled。

因此，仍是建议用正常的方式装机，品牌机自带的一键还原实在也不错，大多数也是可以把用户自己做的系统保留下来的，不妨一试。
