一、教材分析
本单元是以Robots为题的对话，要求学生在第三模块的基础上会用Will they do the housework? Will they do the homework? 以及回答Yes, they will. No, they won’t.来谈论将来可能发生的事。
第三模块已经学习了Will you take … to …? Yes, I will. No, I won’t.本模块学习起来相对简单一些，但学生必须通过大量的操练才能熟练的掌握。
二．教学目标：
知识目标：
1.基本能够听懂，会说，会读词汇：robot, one day, everything, housework, learn, our.
2. 学会用“ Will they…? Yes, they will./ No, they won’t.”以及“ I can walk / talk.”的语言结构。
能力目标：能够听懂会说本模块句型，能灵活运用功能句谈论将来的行为，培养学生的想象能力。
情感目标：在积极参与教学活动及小组合作中激发学生兴趣，体会到学习的快乐。
教学重、难点：
灵活运用Will they…? 以及回答Yes, they will. No, they won’t.来谈论将来发生的事情。
三、学情分析
本模块内容设计适合四年级学生，他们经过一年的学习初步具备一定的听说读的技能，有一定的模仿能力，在老师的引导下，能运用所学基本句型进行语言操练，在课堂教学中能积极参与，互动交流。
并且一般将来时态will在第三模块已经学习接触过，学习起来难度会降低一些。
本课主要运用will 对将来要做的事情进行提问，对于大多数学生来说比较容易掌握。
但是，要灵活自如地运用重点句型进行语言交流，还需要大量的操练。
四．教学方法：五步教学法，小组合作学习五、教学策略
1、注意策略
通过比赛、竞争、观看视频等各种灵活多样的方法，利用学生注意的选择性和转移性，把学生的注意力牢牢地吸引在课堂上，增强学生注意的稳定性。
2、合作策略
合作本身需要合作者互相帮助、共同分享，通过合作学生可以相互促进，共同提高。
在英语学习中，合作性的小组对话、小组练习等活动非常利于学生学习。
六、教学环节
（一）师生互动，复习热身
通过I say you do，I do you say复习动词词组，为本节教学动词将来时做铺垫。
（二）创设情境，呈现新知
1.图片展现，教授新词
图片展示师问what are they doing?引出They are learning，they are doing
the housework教授learn，housework.同时对比homeork，区分相似单词。
2.设置情景，引入话题
T：It’s boring for us to do the housework everyday,whocan heip us?Maybe it can heip us. 出示学生喜欢的机器人大黄蜂引出机器人，并教授其复数形式。
让学生看《变形金刚》片段，问学生what can the first robot (Optimus Prime 擎天柱) do?引导学生说It can walk,and it can talk.然后引出Daminghas got a robot,what can Daming’s robot do?let’s have a look.Today we’ll learn Module 5 Robots Unit 1 Robots will do everything.
（三）设置问题，熟悉课文
Please turn to page 14,listen to the tape ,after listening,tell me what can Daming’s rob ot do .
【设计意图】本环节主要是帮助学生理解对话大意，呈现重点知识。
学生带着问题听录音，寻找答案的过程就是理解课文和呈现重点的过程。

（四）咏唱chant，巩固课文

【设计意图】通过学生喜欢的chant形式巩固本节重点句型，增加学生学习兴趣。
（五）竞猜游戏，操练句型
首先处理课本课后练习，
【设计意图】教师通过看图说句子，让学生操练重点句型Robots will …提高了语用能力。
然后设计游戏Game: What will robots do?
以小组为单位选派代表上台，扮演成机器人，并按老师给的指令做动作，让其余学生猜。
A：Will they ……? B：Yes,they will./No,they won’t.
【设计意图】通过小组内做游戏，培养学生合作能力，巩固重点句型。
（六）欣赏舞蹈，情感教育
欣赏2012年春晚节目《玩具总动员》，让学生感受科技，拓展学生视野，并告诉他们这些机器人是一些大学生设计的，希望同学们好好学习，将来设计出更好的机器人。
（七）回顾总结，作业布置
Design your own robot. Describe it with “This is ..It can.. It will…”
【设计意图】本作业意在培养学生的想象力，让学生大胆创新设想自己的机器人将来会干什么事情。
不仅训练了学生的口语交际能力，同时培养学生放开思维大胆想象创新。

2.教师根据视频展示关键词汇：robot, do housework, do the dishes, do the laundry, cook, take care of children, walk the dog 等，并通过图片、动作等方式模拟机器人的各项任务，提高学生对这些任务的理解。
