本课为第一课时对话课，通过Sarah 和Sam在家谈论所看卡通片的场景呈现核心句型。
They are afraid of him. The cat is angry with them.让学生感知上述句型的语义及语用情境。
学生通过本节课的学习，能够在现实生活中自如运用所学。
以整体呈现到处理局部语言的思路，让学生在具体的语境中感悟目标语句的使用，培养正确的语音、语调习惯，并能够将所学语言运用于实际生活中，从而提高学生的综合语言运用能力。
二、说学情我从两个方面说起（1）学生的生活经验：六年级的学生好奇心强,有较强的模仿能力、逻辑思维能力和求知欲。
（2）学生已有的知识储备：学生们经过三个学年的英语学习，有一定的词汇积累。
三、说目标《新课程标准》中要求学生能够在图片的提示和教师的帮助下理解对话大意，回答问题，能够按照正确语音、语调及意群朗读对话，并能进行角色表演。
因此我确立了如下教学目标：能够听、说、认读单词 chase, mice, bad, hurt 和句子 What’s thiscartoon about? 能够掌握四会句子 They’re afraid of him. The cat is angry with them.并能在实际情景中熟练运用。
能够独立完成 Let’s try 部分的练习。
在对话交流中使学生养成用英语交流的习惯，培养学生良好的语音语调和语感。
教育学生要有良好的心理状态，善于表达自己的感受。
针对教学目标，我确立了如下教学重难点：掌握四会句子 They’re afraid of him. The cat is angry with them. 突破方法：反复朗读，情景对话，小组进行替换练习，突破重点。

①Let's try& Let's talk是一节听说课，Let's try让学生听听力圈出正确的答案，主要训练学生们的听力能力。
Let's talk 是一个对话，Sam和Sarah在讨论一个动画片，综合训练学生的口语表达以及听说读写的能力。
