二、教学内容分析：本次授课内容选自八年级上册Unit8 How do you make banana milk shake?的Section B (2a-2e)的阅读课，阅读材料以美国的感恩节的历史文化以及感恩节的传统食物(火鸡晚餐)制作为内容。
阅读语篇分为两个主要构成部分，一部分讲的是美国感恩节历史文化，另一部分是火鸡晚餐的制作过程和方法。
该阅读材料内容丰富，包含了历史文化方面的内容，本部分的知识呈现比较简单，但是如果要让学生体会到美国感恩节的历史文化底蕴，老师需要额外的给学生补充感恩节的由来。
而第二部分涉及到食物的制作过程，学生不但要掌握First, next, then, finally 等词的使用，还要掌握一些重要的关于制作食物的动词词组和名词，如：mix together, fill ••coiveir, place, pepper,ove n, plate, celebrate •…by, give tha nks to, give thanks for ...这些词汇不仅是对单元语言目标的进一步拓展，还为后面的书面表达提供了参考词汇。
本节课与学生的生活实际密切相关，易于引导学生用英语正确表达中国的传统节日和食品名称，完成读写的任务活动。
