Ladies and Gentlemen: We will now explain the use of the life vest、oxygen mask. Your life vest is located under your seat. To put the vest on ,slip it over your head. Then fasten the buckles and pull the straps tight around your waist. To inflate pull the tabs down firmly but don’t inflate while in the cabin. If your vest needs further inflation, blow into tubes on either side of your vest. Your oxygen mask is in the compartment above you head, and will drop automatically if oxygen is needed. Pull the mask firmly toward you to start the flow of oxygen. Place the mask over your nose and mouth and slip the elastic band over your head. Within a few seconds, the oxygen flow will begin.

An Overview of Chongqing
Ladies, and gentlemen,
On behalf of the staff, I would like to give you a brief introduction to Chongqing.
Overlooking through the windows, passengers can have a magnificent bird-eye view of the vast land below. It is Chongqing, the city with the largest area and biggest population in the world. Chongqing is the only municipality in West China and is the central city on the upper reaches of the Yangtze River in the Southwest part of the country. Chongqing has a total area of 82,400 square kilometers, composed of 40 districts and counties or cities, and its population is 31.3 million. Chongqing lies in the subtropical monsoon climate zone. The annual average temperature is 16-18 degrees centigrade, with long frost-free seasons and ample rainfall.
Blessed with great people and fertile land, Chongqing has a long and glorious history. It is a famous cultural city with a history of 3000 years. It was selected as the capital city for three times in history, and has undergone four times of official city construction and expansion. Chongqing has witnessed drastic changes from the ancient State of Ba to the Wartime interim Capital city, from a ruined place by wars and disasters to a modernized city and industrial center. T oday, Chongqing is playing an indispensable role of connecting the East with the West, manifesting its great industrial productivity and capability in science and technology research and development, and displaying its unique charm with its rich resources and great market potential.
As a mountainous city with rivers running by, Chongqing is a land of exceptional beauty. Historic relics, natural scenic spots and modern civilization
are co-exiting harmoniously. Well-renowned scenic spots such as three Gorges, Dazu Stone Carvings, Jiangjin Simian Mountains and Hechuan fishing city are too many to be counted. What amazes the visitor is, amid clusters of modern high-rises, places of historic interest are here and there to be seen. When overlooking from above, one can have a view of the city proper surrounded by mountains and embraced by two rivers, displaying fully its picturesque and poetic charm. At night, the city is well lit, and the beautiful scene really deserves the fame of “a feast for the eyes”.
Chongqing is rich in local produce. Special products, delicious food and featured handicrafts are dazzling. Fuling pickled mustard tuber and Shixiantaibai wine are well sold both at home and abroad. Chongqing Hot Pot, Spicy Fish and Spring Chicken will surely satisfy your appetite. Huatao ceramics and Qianjiang peasants woodcut are ideal gifts for your family and friends.
