Visiting Maui, Hawaii

Maui is a beautiful island, with lush green hills, waterfalls,

and home to many of the best beaches in Hawaii. Maui is also

home to Haleakala Crater, the largest dormant volcano in the

world.

Maui's most popular resort destinations are located along

it's long west coast. The north west section is Haleakala home

to Kaanapali and Kapalua, while the south west coast has the

Wailea resort. The Kaanapali coast offers long stretches of

golden brown sand beaches, shopping, golf, and an array of

modest hotels to choose from. Nearby Lahaina provides many

choices for dining and entertainment. Lahaina was the capital

of Hawaii until 1845, and still has the atmosphere of an old

whaling town.

Maui is a wonderful choice for those who want to bathe in
