在具体教学中我对教材内容进行了整合，对教材做了适当的修改和扩充，使内容更贴近生活，通过本节课学习让孩子明白做事情要有坚持到底的决心与勇气，不放弃，就会胜利的道理。
学情分析初二年级的学生对英语在充满新鲜与兴趣的基础上，学习能力和知识积累上也更上一层楼！他们积极主动，喜欢说，敢表达。
因此在教学设计上既要满足孩子的好奇心，提高学习英语的兴趣，又要注重对知识延伸与拔高。
根据《新课程标准》提出的具体目标，以及我班学生的特点，我采用“情景引入—出示目标--- 导入自学—合作探究—反思拓展---当堂训练”的模式来安排教学内容。
我设计如下教学活动；教学目标1.知识与技能：熟练掌握和运用所学单词短语，通过听说训练，合作探究和当堂检测完成本节内容，提高其语言表达能力。
2.过程与方法：通过大量口语训练及小组合作，提高合作共赢能力，能够灵活运用所学句型来提高自己的口语交际能力。
3.情感态度价值观：通过本节课内容学习，提高学生语言概括能力，明白只要努力，一切皆有可能，不轻易放弃的愚公精神。
