2. 能听懂并会用Are the birds fighting? No,they aren’t. They areplaying. 等进行问答对话和交流，知道现在进行时的用法，学会课文中出现的生词和句型。
3. 教育学生善待动物，学会跟动物和平共处。
教学重难点词汇: island get on boat river take a photo fight句型: Are the birds fighting?No, they aren ’t. They are playing.Is Ted sleeping?Yes, it is.教学活动让学生分成小组，围绕一张桌子坐好。
小组成员轮流谈论自己或亲朋家里养有什么小动物，自己最喜欢的动物是什么，为什么喜欢这种动物。
课前准备教师课前需要准备录音机、磁带、教学挂图、单词卡片和幻灯设备。
教学过程1. Warm-up.小学生大都喜欢小动物，教师要利用小学生这个特点。
开始上课时，教师可以先在全班问：“同学们，你们家里或亲戚朋友家里养有小动物吗？你们都喜欢什么小动物呀？”教师这样一问，学生们肯定积极踊跃发言，谈论自己所喜欢的小动物。
此时，教师应注意控制时间，逐步将话题引向本节课的教学内容。
2. 任务1的教学：（ 1）在进行上述活动的基础上，教师可出示预先准备的动物图片或用幻灯片呈现动物，如bird,dog, duck, sheep, turtle等，引导和启发学生说出更多的动物名称。
（2）教师拿出Look and listen的教学挂图，让学生认真看。
然后，放录音，让学生仔细听，看图片中的人物在谈论什么，分别提到哪几种动物，动物分别在做什么。
（在学生听录音时，教师可以将生词和句型写在黑板上或用幻灯片显示出来，以便学生能更容易地听懂录音内容和更好地掌握句型。
）（3）教师根据图片和录音中的内容，拿出课前准备的动物图片，问学生：Are the birds fighting?引导学生用N o, they aren’t. They are playing.句型回答。

Unit 3 They are playing 说课稿一、说教材今天我说课的内容是鲁湘版小学英语第四册第三单元的内容。
本课将学习现在进行时，重点是让学生能用现在进行时进行问答。
通过学习，学生将提高用英语进行交流的能力。
1.教学目标(1）认知目标：让学生掌握如何用英语描述别人正在做什么及问答。
（2）教学目标：让学生基本掌握现在进行时和现在分词的基本结构和用法。
（3）情感目标：让学生体验学习，参与，合作，竞争的乐趣。
（4）创新目标：在认知和技能掌握的基础上，发挥学生的想象力，通过动作表现正在做的事情。
2、重点：熟练运用目标中单词与句型，并能用现在进行时进行问答。
3、难点：现在进行时的基本句子结构。
二．说教法、说学法英语教学倡导互动型教学模式，即让学生在教学活动中参与和完成真实的教学任务，从中体验学习的快乐。
因此我采用“知识讲解——操练巩固——拓展应用”型教学方法，让学生在有趣，开放式的语言环境中，学会观察，思考，讨论和总结。
三．说教学过程为了关注每个学生的情感，激发他们的兴趣，通过感知，体验，实践，参与和合作等方式，实现任务目标。
因此，我设计了以下五个环节。
第一环节：导入----巧妙导入让学生用书上的情景一导入课题，很快地提出了本课的教学目标。
这样简单明了，使学生易接受。
第二环节：重点句型的学习—创设语言环境，激发学生兴趣这一环节是本课的重难点，我使用形象生动的多媒体画面来展示，使现在分词和现在进行时的结构变得生动有趣。
利用课件，依次出现了公园的四幅画面。
我们看到了play chess，row a dragon boat，drink soybean milk这几个动作画面。
为了让学生对现在分词和现在进行时有深刻的印象，我设计当每个动词词组出现后，紧接着出现“ing”和动词结合成的现在分词，领读这些动词短语及现在分词形式，并将图片用现在进行时的句子描述出来。
第三环节：课文学习对课文的学习，通过1. Listen to the tape 2. Listen to the tape and answer some questions. Check the answer. 3.Listen and repeat 5.自读课文，达到对课文的角色表演。
