下面我就今天的教学内容做一简单的说明。
今天我的授课内容是第七单元Work for Peace 中的第二课，本单元主要围绕和平展开话题，引导学生热气和平，并且为和平和谐的生活环境做出自己的努力。
本课主要介绍了学生会的职能，以及学生会的成员是如何通过自己的实际行动来营造温馨和谐的生活环境的。
通过本课的学习，希望可以引导学生在日常生活中更加热爱和平，懂得如何与人相处，如何为自己营造一个良好的学习环境。
本节课的重点是通过听和读等环节理解课文内容，难点是学生能够正确的使用连词，并且能够根据提示信息比较完整的复述课文，让学生达到学以致用的目的。
下面我就这节课的设计思路及主要环节做一简单的说明：首先我自己认为九年级英语教学不只是学习一些简单的单词短语等基本知识，更重要的是要在平时的教学中培养学生的阅读能力，和对所学知识的运用能力。
本节课我主要就是围绕这一思想进行设计的。
首先我说一下预习环节，通过这一环节，一方面我想要督促学生课前认真做好预习，养成良好的学习习惯。
另一方面，预习环节我设计的短语基本上都是本课比较难和比较重要的短语，通过预习检查帮学生解决理解课文时遇到的困难，让学生能更好的理解课文，为后面的学习做好铺垫。
接下来是听力和回答问题环节，听力是考试中的重要考查内容，也是课堂教学必不可少的重要环节。
对于回答问题这一环节，我只给了学生2到3分钟的时间，目的是让学生快速的找出问题的答案，这一环节我不要求学生精读课文，而是学会跳读，只要找到答案就可以，因为在考试中，阅读部分所占分值大，阅读内容也多，我们不仅要要求学生做对阅读题，而且还要要求学生提高做题的速度，学会跳读也是做阅读理解时的重要技能之一。
