Time management is a skill that takes practice, but it's essential for success. My Future GoalsOne of my biggest goals for the future is to attend a top university and study computer science. I've always been fascinated by technology and how it continues to evolve and shape our world. I hope to one day work for a leading tech company and develop innovative software or applications that can make a positive impact. I know achieving this goal will require hard work and dedication, but I'm willing to put in the effort.。

The crowd began to shout, but the drunk was unaware of the danger. The bull was busy with the matador at the time, but it suddenly caught sight of the drunk who was shouting rude remarks and waving a red cap. Apparently sensitive to criticism, the bull forgot all about the matador and charged at the drunk. The crowd suddenly grew quiet. The drunk, however, seemed quite sure of himself. When the bull got close to him, he clumsily stepped aside to let it pass. The crowd broke into cheers and the drunk bowed. By this time, however, three men had come into the ring and they quickly dragged the drunk to safety. Even the bull seemed to feel sorry for him, for it looked on sympathetically until the drunk was out of the way before once more turning its attention to the matador.在一次斗牛时,一个醉汉突然溜达到斗牛场中间。

七年级下册日常生活英语作文范文
七年级下册日常生活英语作文范文全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Daily Life in 7th GradeHi everyone! My name is Johnny and I'm a 7th grader at Central Middle School. Today I'm gonna tell you all about my typical day and what my life is like. Get ready for an inside look!It all starts at 6:30am when my annoying little alarm clock goes off. I hit snooze a couple times before finally forcing myself out of my warm, cozy bed. After getting dressed in my usual jeans and t-shirt, I head to the kitchen for breakfast. My mom makes me eggs and toast most mornings which I think is pretty good!By 7:15 I'm out the door and walking the six blocks to school with my best friend Jake. We live pretty close so we always walk together. Sometimes we take our skateboards if we're running late. The walk goes by fast since we're always joking around and talking about video games or how crush-worthy the new student teacher is!The first bell rings at 7:50 which is our five minute warning before homeroom starts. I literally sprint through the halls to my locker to grab my books for the first few periods. Those hallways are like a zoooooo with everyone shoving and yelling to get to class on time. Just makes me want to be late on purpose sometimes! My first class is English which I'm okay at. Our teacher Mrs. Thompson is pretty cool and doesn't give too much homework. Second period is pre-algebra which makes me want to snooze forever. I'm horrible at math and just can't get all the number stuff to click in my brain. Why does algebra even exist?!Third period is biology which isn't too bad. I just zone out during the lectures and grab the notes from my friend Stacy afterwards. She's a total brainiac and genius scientist in the making. As long as I can barely pass, I'll take it.By fourth period it's finally time for P.E.! This is definitely my favorite class. No lame academics, just total sports awesomeness for a whole hour. Whether it's basketball, baseball, dodgeball, you name it - I'm a star athlete out there on the court/field. Well, at least I like to think so even if the stats don't quite back that up.After P.E. it's lunchtime which is another highlight of the school day. 25 blessed minutes to pig out on chicken nuggets, pizza, fries and all the other good stuff they serve. I sit at a huge table with my squad and we gossip about everything that went down earlier in the day. Who failed the surprise quiz, who got detention, whose latest Instagram post is fire - you know, extremely critical stuff. In the afternoon I have history, Spanish, and art. History is okay since I get to learn about wars, conquests and other crazy events. Spanish is interesting too since the teacher always brings in Mexican snacks and we watch videos or listen to music sometimes. Art is probably my worst subject though. Stick figures are about the highest level of drawing skills I can muster. Finally, the last bell rings at 3:10pm and that glorious moment has arrived - schools out! I blast my music on the walk home and call up Jake or another friend to see if they can hang out. We'll either go to the park to skateboard or climb trees, walk over to GameStop to see if there areany new releases, or just head to someone's house to play video games. The usual middle school afternoon stuff.Once I get home around 5ish, I'll pound a snack and get started on any homework I have. I usually knock it out within an hour or so then have the rest of the evening to just veg. Maybe I'll read for my book report, practice some guitar chords, or mostlikely just watch YouTube videos and scroll through social media feeds. Dinner's around 7pm then I'll shower and get ready for bed around 9ish.And that's a typical day in the life of this 7th grade guy! Lots of core classes, survival of the hallway stampedes, a heavy dose of phys ed and chilling with my buds. While lots of work and homework, there's always plenty of time for fun and absolutely zero adult responsibilities. Just pre-teen awesome sauce all the way.Well thanks for reading my rambling life story! This was supposed to be an English assignment but I kinda got carried away haha. Guess I'll have to show my masterpiece to my teacher now. Until next time - peace out!篇2My Life in 7th GradeHey there! My name is Jamie and I'm a 7th grader. I'm going to tell you all about my daily life as a middle schooler. It's a lot of fun but also a lot of work!I wake up at 6:30am every morning because my school starts at 8am. I hit the snooze button a few times before finally dragging myself out of my cozy bed. I get dressed in my schooluniform - khaki pants and a polo shirt with my school's logo on it. Not the cutest outfit, but at least I don't have to pick out what to wear every day! After I'm dressed, I head to the kitchen for breakfast. My mom makes me eggs, toast, and orange juice pretty much every morning. I'm not a fan of eggs but she says they give me protein to "feed my brain". I'd rather have pancakes or waffles but beggars can't be choosers I guess. At 7:15am, I start getting my backpack ready. I pack up my lunchbox, water bottle, pencil case, books and binders for all my classes, my laptop, and anything else I'll need for the day. My backpack feels like it weighs a million pounds when I put it on!My dad drives me to school at 7:40am. I like to listen to music and play games on my phone during the 10 minute drive. We always get to school around 7:50am and I meet up with my friends near the front entrance before the first bell rings at 8am.My first class is English Literature. I actually really like this class because my teacher, Mr. Roberts, is super nice and funny. We're reading the novel "To Kill A Mockingbird" right now which I'm really enjoying. In English, we also work on writing, grammar, vocabulary, and do lots of discussions.Next up is my dreaded math class - Algebra 1. I'm just not a math person at all and find it so confusing and boring. My teacher Mrs. Paulson doesn't make it any better - she's super strict and mean. I usually just try to get through that class and not fall too far behind.Third period is World History which isn't too bad. We get to learn about ancient civilizations and cultures which can be interesting. Although I zone out sometimes during the lectures when my teacher Mr. Fredrickson just drones on and on.By the time fourth period Biology rolls around, I'm starting to get pretty hungry. Biology is a cool class though because we get to do experiments and look through microscopes and stuff. My favorite unit so far was learning about the human body. Finally, it's time for lunch at 11:30am! I meet up with my group of friends and we all head to the cafeteria together. The food isn't amazing but it could definitely be worse. My favorite is definitely pizza day on Fridays. I usually also pack some snacks and drinks from home to supplement my lunch. After lunch, I have gym class which I actually look forward to. It's a nice break from sitting at a desk all morning and a chance to run around and be active. My gym teachers make us run laps and do team sports and activities.Sixth period is Spanish, which is one of the harder classes for me. I'm just not great at learning a new language but I keep trying my best. At least my teacher Mr. Gomez is really nice and helps out a lot.My last class of the day is Art which is definitely my favorite! I love being creative and working on fun projects and assignments. This semester we've done painting, drawing, sculpting, and photography. My art teacher is super cool and laid back. The final bell rings at 3pm and I'm so happy the day is over! I meet back up with my friends and we hang out for a little while before my mom picks me up around 3:30pm. We chat about our days on the drive home.Once home, I snack on some pretzels or apple slices while starting on my homework. I try to get as much done as I can before dinner at 6pm. For homework, I usually have math problems, readings to do for English, maybe a paper to write, study for tests, and projects to work on.After dinner, I squeeze in any remaining homework and then have a little free time before bed at 9pm. In my free time, I like篇3My Daily Life as a 7th GraderHi there! My name is Jamie and I'm a 7th grader at Lincoln Middle School. I thought I'd tell you all about my typical day and what life is like for me right now.My day starts pretty early since I have to be at school by 8am. My mom's alarm goes off at 6:30am and she comes into my room to wake me up. I never want to get out of my warm, cozy bed in the morning! But mom insists and gets me up and moving.I head to the bathroom to take a quick shower and get ready.I brush my teeth, put on some deodorant (very important at my age!), and get dressed for the day. I try to pick out a decent outfit, but to be honest, I'm not that interested in fashion or looking super stylish yet. As long as my clothes are clean and comfortable, I'm happy.Once I'm ready, I head downstairs for breakfast. My favorites are waffles, pancakes, or eggs and bacon if we have time to cook. Sometimes I just settle for a bowl of cereal if we're running late. I pack up my lunch for the day too - usually a sandwich, fruit, veggie sticks, and a snack or two.At 7:30am, my mom drives me to school. The ride takes about 15 minutes. I don't live too far from Lincoln Middle. In thecar, I'll read over any handouts for homework and make sure I have everything I need for my classes that day.School starts at 8am sharp. My first class is English. I really enjoy English because I love reading, writing, and exploring different books and stories. We're studying poetry right now, which is pretty interesting once you start analyzing the deeper meanings. After English, I have pre-algebra. Math has never been my strongest subject, but I'm working hard to get better at it. The numbers and formulas can be pretty confusing sometimes. I just take good notes and pay close attention during lessons.Next up is history. We're learning all about the Civil War this semester. It's a heavy topic, but I find it really fascinating to study such an important period in American history. My history teacher is also super passionate about the subject which makes it more engaging. Then it's time for my favorite - biology! I love science, especially learning about living things and how they work. We get to do lots of fun experiments and lab activities in bio. Just last week, we did a really cool dissection of a frog. It was a little gross but very neat to see the organs up close. After biology, I have Spanish for my foreign language. Honestly, it's probably my least favorite class just because I find learning a new language kind of difficult and frustrating at times. But I'm trying my best and hoping it will start to click for me soon.Once Spanish is done, it's lunch time! I meet up with my friends and we all eat together in the cafeteria. We talk about our days so far, make plans for after school, and just hang out. The cafeteria food isn't the greatest, so I'm glad I pack my own lunch. In the afternoon, I have gym class which is a nice way to get some exercise and energy out. We've been playing a lot of basketball and dodgeball recently in gym. Even though I'm not a star athlete, I still have fun and try my hardest. After gym is study period where I can get a head start on homework or work on any projects that are due. It's a nice quiet period to be productive. Towards the end, they hold aschool-wide trivia contest that I like to participate in. I have a decent general knowledge base for my age. Finally, my last class of the day is art. I love being creative and making all kinds of artsy projects and drawings. We're currently learning about different painting techniques which is super fun.Once the final bell rings at 3pm, I'm freed for the day! Sometimes I'll hang out with friends for a little while or stop to get a snack from the vending machines. Otherwise, I head straight for the bus line to catch my bus home. The bus drops me off around 3:45pm. As soon as I get inside, I change into comfortable clothes to relax in. I'll have anafter-school snack like apple slices with peanut butter or crackers and hummus to hold me over until dinner. From around 4-6pm, I work on any homework I have. If it's not too much, I can usually get it all done during this window. I'll take breaks in between subjects to watch some YouTube, play a videogame, or scroll through social media to give my brain a rest.My parents get home from work around 6pm and we all have dinner together as a family. We chat about our days and just catch up. Dinner is a nice way to reconnect after our busy schedules. After dinner, I have some free time before getting ready for bed. I'll typically read for fun, practice my guitar, or meet up with friends to hang out. On nights I don't have much homework, my friends and I will make funny TikTok videos together orbinge-watch a show on Netflix.Around 9pm, I start getting ready for bed. I take a shower, brush my teeth, put on my comfy pjs, and get all my stuff laid out for the next morning. I try to be asleep by around 10pm so that I'm well-rested for another day.And that's a typical day in my life as a 7th grader! It's a busy schedule with school, homework, activities and more. But I'm enjoying myself at this age and making the most of my middle school days and routine. Thanks for reading about my daily life! Let me know if you have any other questions.篇4My Life as a 7th GraderWow, can you believe I'm already in 7th grade? It feels like just yesterday I was a tiny little kid in 1st grade. Now I'm one of the big kids at my school! Being in 7th grade is awesome but also kind of scary sometimes. Let me tell you all about my daily life.Every morning, my super annoying little brother Lucas comes barging into my room way too early, jumping on my bed and yelling "Wake up, sleepyhead!" I shoot him my meanest looks but he just giggles. That little twerp knows how to push my buttons. After finally dragging myself out of bed, I mosey on down to the kitchen where Mom has made my favorite - chocolate chip pancakes! Well, she calls them "whole wheat pancakes with antioxidant-rich dark chocolate chips" but I just call them delicious. I gas up on pancake power before the long school day ahead. The bus ride to school is utterly chaotic, as always. The little kindergarteners are crying, the 2nd graders are singing awful songs at the top of their lungs, and the 5th grade boys are busily trying to snap every girl's bra strap. I just keep my head down and vibe to my playlist until we mercifully arrive. My favorite class is English because I'm a total word nerd and reading fanatic. I eat up everything from classics like To Kill a Mockingbird to suspenseful page-turners like Harry Potter. During English, I can tune everything else out and just get lost in the wonder of the written word. My English teacher says I have a real gift for writing and should maybe be an author someday. How cool would that be?Math class is...not my favorite. I'm just not a numbers person at all. I stare at the equations on the board like they're written in ancient Greek hieroglyphics. It's all utterly indecipherable to me.I've just resigned myself to getting a nice math tutor so I don't flunk out.Lunch time means navigating the crazy cafeteria scene with all the different cliques. You've got the teachers' pets, parking themselves at the first few tables to be closest to the lunchroom monitors. The class clowns are always getting yelled at for making fart noises and throwing food. And the super cool kids somehow manage to ooze confidence while eating a little something called a "Salisbury steak" (isn't steak supposed to be an actual piece of meat?).My squad and I grab our trays and stake out our usual corner spot. Chloe is busy gossiping about which 8th grade boys are cutest, while Nicole is fretting over her upcoming Student Council speech. Zara and I usually just listen along while doodling marinara smiley faces onto our paper napkins. These are my peoples. After lunch it's off to P.E., arguably my biggest source of 7th grade angst. Somehow over summer I managed to sprout up while all my friends got even tinier and adorable. So there's me - all gangling arms and legs, looking like a newborn baby deer just learning to walk. And of course, we're playing field hockey, agame custom-made to amplify my lack of coordination and athletic ability. I usually just politely applaud from the sidelines. Finally, at long last, the closing bell rings and school is OUT for the day! Time to go home, change into my favorite ripped jeans and slouchy sweater, and get my homework grind on. As tedious as it is, I know my ticket to bigger and better things is getting through my assignments with flying colors.A few hours later, I'll smell something amazing wafting from the kitchen - dinner time! Maybe it's Mom's signature spaghetti and meatballs, or "taco night", or even frozen pizza for a treat. I'll fill up my belly, then plop on the couch and watch some TV. A new episode of Stranger Things is on? Even better! After Stranger Things and a rousing round of Fortnite with the guys, I'll head up to my room to get ready for bed. Skincare routine first (gotta keep my skin clear), then I'll put on my cloud-soft pajamas and fluffy robe. I'll spend a little time journaling about my feelings and random thoughts before finally climbing into my cozy bed. As I lie there utterly exhausted, I think about what a weird, wonderful, hard, amazing rollercoaster ride 7th grade is. I can't wait to see what 8th grade has in store!篇5My Daily LifeHey there! My name is Emma and I'm a 7th grader at Oakwood Middle School. I thought I'd tell you a bit about my daily life and what a typical day is like for me. It's a busy schedule for sure, but I enjoy keeping active with school, activities, seeing my friends, and just being a kid!I wake up around 6:30am on school days when my mom knocks on my bedroom door. I'm usually pretty tired since I tend to stay up too late reading, watching videos, or texting my friends. But I know I have to get going so I don't miss the bus! I hop in the shower, get dressed, grab a quick breakfast like cereal or a granola bar, and I'm out the door by 7:15.The school bus picks me up at 7:20 and I see a bunch of my friends from the neighborhood waiting at the stop too. We laugh, chat, and joke around a lot on the bus ride to school. Sometimes we even manage to get some homework done if we're running late on assignments. I have to be careful though because the bus driver has reminded us a million times to keep it down and stay in our seats! We get to school right around 7:50 and head inside. My first class is English and it starts at 8am sharp. Mrs. Walker is a pretty cool teacher and makes the class fun, but she also keeps us on track with our writing assignments, readingcomprehension, vocabulary, and all that stuff. We're reading the book "The Giver" right now which I'm really getting into. Next up is pre-algebra with Mr. Sanchez. I have to admit, math is definitely not my favorite subject! I get mixed up with all the equations, variables, and story problems. But I'm working hard and doing my best. After pre-algebra, I have geography at 9:45. This class is awesome because we get to learn all about different countries, cultures, landforms, and more. We just finished a unit on Asia which was really interesting to me. Who knew there were so many diverse countries and ethnicities there? My brain is pretty fried by the time 11:30 rolls around and it's time for lunch. I meet up with my best friends Mia, Zoe, and Jayden and we head to the cafeteria. I'll usually get the school lunch which isn't too bad. Maybe a sandwich or pasta with a fruit and vegetable. The chocolate milk is my favorite! After lunch is when we have gym class from 12:15 to 1pm. I'm really into sports so I look forward to gym a lot. We could be playing basketball, volleyball, running laps, or working on fitness exercises depending on the day. I get pretty sweaty but it feels good to get some physical activity in during the school day. The rest of the afternoon flies by with science lab from 1:05 to 1:50and then history from 1:55 until 3pm. I have to admit, by the end of the day I'm feeling pretty drained from concentrating so hard! The final bell rings at 3pm and that means... FREEDOM! At least for a few hours until I have homework to tend to later. A bunch of us always head over to the sports fields or basketball courts right after school though. We'll play pick-up games, hang out, or just mess around and be kids. Around 5pm, I'll start to head home, call my mom for a ride, or maybe walk if the weather is nice.Once I'm home, I'll grab a snack and get started on whatever homework I have for the night. My parents are pretty strict about me getting it all done before hopping on my phone or watching TV. Usually I'll have some math problems, maybe a writing assignment, reading to do for English, or worksheets for history or science. I'll work on it for a couple hours, take breaks when I need to, and then I'm finished by 7 or 8pm.After homework, I'm free to chill out! Sometimes I'll read, play videogames, or FaceTime my friends. If there are good shows on TV that night, I'll watch them with my family. Or in the summer, I may go outside and swim in our pool. My parents make me shower and then get ready for bed around 9:30 or 10.Before falling asleep, I'll put on some music, write in my journal, or scroll on my phone for a little bit. Then the cycle just repeats the next day! School, homework, activities, family time, friends, and just regular kid stuff. While it can be a lot to juggle with classes, assignments, sports, and everything else...I wouldn't have it any other way. This is my life as a 7th grader and I'm living it to the fullest! Maybe your daily routine is similar to mine or maybe it's totally different. Either way, I hope you enjoyed this little peek into my world.。
英语作文七年级下册一到四单元
英语作文七年级下册一到四单元全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Journey Through 7th Grade EnglishUnit 1: All About MeHey there! I'm so excited to tell you all about what I've been learning in English class this year. In the first unit, we learned how to introduce ourselves and share details about our lives. It was fun getting to know my classmates better through ourself-introductions!I wrote a whole paragraph describing myself - my name, age, family members, hobbies, and dreams for the future. Can you believe I want to be an astronaut when I grow up? I've always been fascinated by space and the idea of exploring other planets.I really hope I can make that dream a reality someday! We also learned tons of adjectives to describe our personalities and interests. I'd say I'm curious, determined, and a little bit silly at times. I love trying new things and learning aboutthe world around me. Adventurous is probably another good word for me!Unit 2: My Daily RoutineAfter introducing ourselves, we moved on to talking about our daily routines and schedules. This unit was all about using simple present tense and sequence words like "first," "next," "then," and "finally."Let me walk you through my typical day! I wake up at 7am, and the first thing I do is brush my teeth. Next, I get dressed for school in my uniform - a white shirt and navy blue pants or skirt. Then I head to the kitchen for breakfast. My favorites are pancakes, oatmeal, or just a simple bowl of cereal.Once I'm fed and ready, I grab my backpack and walk the short distance to my school. Classes start at 8:30am, and we have six periods each day - Math, Science, English, Social Studies, PE, and an elective like Art or Music. Lunchtime is at noon, and I always look forward to hanging out with my friends in the cafeteria. We play games, tell jokes, and chat about our favorite TV shows. After school, I might have club activities or sports practice. I'm on the soccer team, so we have practice twice a week. When Iget home around 5pm, the first thing I do is start my homework. It's important to get it done early before dinner! Then I'll relax by reading, playing video games, or watching shows. I try to get to bed by 9pm to be well-rested for the next day.Unit 3: My Weekend FunWeekends are the best! This unit focused on talking about our weekend activities using the simple past tense. We learned how to say what we did and where we went. Most Saturdays, I sleep in until around 10am. It feels so good not to have to set an early alarm! After a lazy morning, I'll meet up with friends and we'll go to the mall, the movies, or sometimes just hang out at the park. We love going shopping together and trying on crazy outfits. My friends and I all have such different styles, but we appreciate each other's unique looks.Last Saturday, we went bowling and I scored two strikes in a row! I was so proud of myself. Afterwards, we stopped at our favorite burger place for lunch. I got a bacon cheeseburger, fries, and a chocolate milkshake - definitely not the healthiest, but it was delicious!Sundays are usually when I take it easy and get ready for the new week ahead. I'll meal prep some healthy snacks and lunches, clean my room, and maybe read a book or take the dog on a long walk around the neighborhood. It's my time to recharge before another busy week of school.Unit 4: My CityThe most recent unit was all about our hometowns and neighborhoods. We practiced giving directions, describing locations, and making recommendations. The city I live in is fairly small with a population of only about 50,000 people. But I love the cozy, tight-knit community feel. Everyone seems to know each other, and you'll always run into familiar faces when you go out.Right in the center of town is Main Street, which is where you'll find most of the shops, restaurants, and entertainment. My favorite place to eat is the diner that's been run by the same family for over 60 years. Their milkshakes are out of this world! There's also a really cool independent movie theater that shows a mix of new releases and classic films. If you get tired of the downtown area, you can drive just 10 minutes to reach the huge park on the east side of town. It hashiking trails, playgrounds, sports fields, and even a little lake for fishing or renting paddle boats. My friends and I love having picnics there on sunny days.Just a couple miles from the park is the shopping mall, which has all the popular clothing stores and a tiny amusement park inside with go-karts, mini golf, and an arcade. It's basically a wonderland for kids and teens!I feel so lucky to live in a place with something for everyone - city perks combined with outdoor adventures too. While our town may be small, you'll never get bored or run out of fun things to do.Well, that's a glimpse into what I've been up to in 7th grade English so far! We've covered a lot of useful vocabulary and grammar for talking about our lives, routines, experiences, and surroundings. I'm excited to keep learning and improving my English skills. Thanks for reading my essay! Let me know if you have any other questions.篇2My Awesome Summer VacationHey there! I'm so excited to tell you all about my summer vacation. It was truly epic and full of amazing adventures. Get ready for an awesome story! It all started on the last day of school. I was super pumped because my family was going on a big trip during the summer break. We were going to drive all the way from our hometown to the Grand Canyon! My little brother and I could hardly contain our excitement. The first couple of days in the car were kind of boring, to be honest. We drove for what felt like forever, stopping only for food, bathroom breaks, and to sleep at motels. But things got way more interesting when we finally arrived at the Grand Canyon. Oh my goodness, it was breathtaking! We stayed at a hotel right on the rim of the canyon, so we had an incredible view. I'll never forget that first moment when we stepped out onto the viewing area and saw the vast, colorful canyon stretching out before us. It looked almost unreal, like a beautiful painting. My mind was totally blown by how massive and deep it was. I felt so tiny in comparison!Over the next few days, we went on some amazing hikes down into the canyon itself. It was a bit scary at times because of the steep drop-offs, but our guide made sure we were safe. Wesaw all kinds of cool wildlife like bighorn sheep, California condors, and Gila monsters. I loved learning about the geology and how the canyon was formed by erosion over millions of years. Science is so fascinating! After exploring the Grand Canyon, we drove further west towards California. Our next stop was Las Vegas, which was unlike any place I'd ever seen. The bright lights, huge casinos, and shows were overwhelming but in an exciting way. We didn't gamble since we're kids, but we did see an amazing magic show and ate at some crazy good restaurants. Vegas was a total blast! From there, we made our way to Los Angeles. As we got closer, I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw the famous Hollywood sign off in the distance. LA was everything I'd imagined - busy, full of traffic, but also glamorous. We went on a tour of movie studios which was a dream come true for me since I want to be an actor someday.Seeing the sets and learning about special effects was mind-blowing. We also visited Santa Monica pier which had a fun amusement park and amazing beach. I'll never forget the feeling of the warm Pacific ocean on my toes as the waves rolled in.After LA, we drove up the coast to San Francisco. What an unbelievably cool city! We took a trolley ride, visited the Golden Gate Bridge, and saw the sea lions chillin' at Pier 39. The clam chowder soup in a sourdough bread bowl was out-of-this-world delicious. I definitely want to go back to San Fran someday. On our way home, we stopped for a night in Portland which has to be one of the weirdest but coolest cities ever. There were doughnut shops, coffee shops, book shops, you name it - all kinds of funky places. We wandered around just exploring the neighborhoods which had such a chill, artsy vibe. I could have spent weeks there! Finally, after driving over 4,000 miles, we made it back home.I was exhausted but filled with so many unbelievable memories from our cross-country road trip. Seeing different cities and landscapes across America was an experience I'll never forget. This summer was definitely one for the books! I have a much bigger appreciation for how diverse and beautiful our country is after visiting so many different places. I feel like I grew up a lot and have a broader perspective now. I'm already dreaming about where we'll go next summer. Maybe we'll drive up to Canada or down to Mexico! Who knows what adventures await? I can't wait to find out!篇3My Awesome 7th Grade Year (So Far!)Hey guys! I'm so excited to tell you about all the cool stuff I've learned in English class this year. We just finished Unit 4, so I thought I'd write about the last four units and everything we covered. Get ready for an awesome journey through 7th grade English!Unit 1 was all about storytelling, and boy did we dive deep into some entertaining tales! We read short stories from around the world, analyzing the plot, characters, and themes. My favorite was definitely the one about the sly fox who outsmarts the arrogant crow - the twist at the end had the whole class cracking up.We also spent a bunch of time working on our narrative writing skills. I'll be honest, coming up with an original story from scratch was really hard at first. But Ms. Johnson gave us these awesome "story cubes" with pictures on them that helped spark ideas. Pretty soon, my imagination was running wild! I wrote an epic fantasy tale about a young wizard battling a fierce dragon. Hopefully it'll get turned into a movie someday (just kidding...kind of).In Unit 2, we dived headfirst into the world of persuasive writing and public speaking. Talk about stepping out of my comfort zone! We learned all about rhetorical devices like pathos, ethos, and logos to make our arguments more convincing. Those Greek philosophers really knew what they were talking about. The big challenge was our in-class debates. I have to admit, presenting in front of everyone made me super nervous at first. But once I got going, it was actually pretty fun trying to outwit my opponents with facts and logic. We covered some fascinating topics too, like whether we should have longer school days or dress codes for students. In the end, my team emerged victorious in the great "School Uniform Debate of 2023." Suck on that, dress code!Unit 3 took us on a poetic journey through the ages. We analyzed classics from Shakespeare, Frost, and Angelou, exploring figurative language like metaphors and symbolism. I'll be real with you, some of those old poems were pretty confusing at first. But Ms. Johnson showed us step-by-step how to unpack the deeper meanings, and suddenly those verses were like word paintings coming to life before my eyes.My personal favorite was the poem about the road diverging in the woods. I don't always take the easy path, you know? Or atleast that's what I told myself while I procrastinated on the poetry analysis essay until the last minute...oops!That brings us to Unit 4 - persuasive reading and media literacy. We learned just how sneaky advertisers and news outlets can be in trying to influence people's opinions. Talk about an eye-opening experience! We spent weeks deconstructing ads, articles, and videos to identify bias, faulty logic, and other manipulation tactics. From commercials using celebrity endorsements to political pundits slanting facts to suit their narrative, we saw it all. I'll never look at media the same way again. In fact, I basically turned into a human lie detector, calling out every instance of loaded language or cherry-picked stats in conversations with my family. Sorry Mom and Dad, but the wool can't be pulled over these eyes! For our final unit project, we had to create our own mock ad campaigns or news broadcasts and then swap with partners to break down each other's persuasive techniques. I went all out with an over-the-top car commercial filled with every subliminal messaging tactic in the book, from associating the vehicle with beauty to preying on consumer insecurities. When my buddyLuke analyzed it, he could barely contain his mind-blown-ness at all the sly maneuvers. Manipulation mastery achieved!Phew, what a year so far! I can't believe how much I've learned about effectively reading, writing, speaking, and analyzing the English language. From spinning imaginative tales to crafting airtight arguments to digging into poetry's deeper meanings to seeing through media deception, my skills have leveled up big time.Sure, some of the work was challenging and pushed me out of my comfort zone. But that's how we grow, right? With summer vacation just around the corner, I can't wait to get somewell-deserved rest and recharge my brain batteries. Seventh grade, you've been a total blast, but eighth grade...you'd better watch out! This skilled student is coming for you next!篇4My Life as a Middle SchoolerHi! My name is Alex and I'm a 7th grader. A lot has happened since middle school started last year. I want to tell you all about my experiences so far in 7th grade!Unit 1 - My New SchoolLast year when I started 6th grade, everything was so new and different from elementary school. The building was huge with long hallways and lots of classrooms. I had to switch classes for each subject instead of staying in one room all day. It was confusing at first finding my way around, but I quickly got the hang of it.My favourite part of the new school was meeting all the new students. In elementary school, I was with the same kids for years. But now there were students from all the other elementary schools in the area. I made so many new friends! At first, I stuck with the kids I already knew from my old school. But soon I started chatting with other new students at lunch and during activities.Another big change was having different teachers for each subject. I loved that because every class was taught in a different way depending on the teacher's style. My math teacher was pretty strict, while my English teacher was more laid-back and let us work in groups a lot. It kept things interesting!Unit 2 - My DayThe typical day in middle school is very different from elementary school. The days are longer, with classes runningfrom 8am to 3pm. We also switch classes every period instead of staying in one room.My day starts with mom waking me up at 6:30am. I get ready, have breakfast, and we leave for school by 7:30am. Classes begin at 8am with my homeroom period, where we have announcements and take attendance. Then it's off to my core classes - math, science, English, and history. We have those daily and they are my most challenging courses. I actually really enjoy them though because the teachers make the subjects interesting and interactive. We do lots of group work, projects, and hands-on activities. It's not just sitting and listening to teachers lecture all day. After those core classes, I have my electives like art, music, computers, and gym. Those classes are a nice break because they are more fun and relaxing. Art and music are my favorites - I love being creative and practicing instruments. Computers is also cool because we learn coding and video editing.Around noon, we have a break for lunch. I meet up with my friends and we talk and joke around for 40 minutes. After lunch, it's two more periods of core classes, ending at 3pm. Some days I have after-school activities like basketball practice or homeworkclub until 5pm. Then it's home for dinner and homework before bed! Busy days but I love middle school!Unit 3 - My Best FriendMy best friend is Sam and we've known each other since 1st grade. We met on the playground during recess and just clicked right away. Sam has always been really funny and outgoing, while I was more on the shy side back then. I think that's why we became such good friends - our personalities balanced each other out perfectly. We spent so many playdates and sleepovers throughout elementary school creating crazy games and adventures. We were those kids constantly running around laughing and being weird together. We didn't care what anyone thought, we just had nonstop fun. When middle school started, I was really nervous about Sam and I ending up in different friend groups. Thankfully, we ended up in a lot of the same classes! We continued our tradition of sitting together, whispering jokes, and basically being attached at the hip. We even joined the basketball team together. What makes Sam such an amazing best friend is how caring and loyal they are. If I'm having a rough day, Sam is the first oneto notice and do something to cheer me up. They always have my back and gives the best advice. We share everything with each other - nothing is off limits or too embarrassing between us.Don't get me wrong, we've had our share of disagreements over the years too. Like when Sam was篇5My Fun School YearHi everyone! I'm so excited to tell you all about my school year so far. We just finished unit 4 in our English textbook and I have learned so many cool things! In unit 1, we talked about our daily routines and hobbies. I wrote all about my normal day, from waking up early for school to doing my homework and playing video games in the evening. My favorite hobby is definitely playing basketball with my friends at the park near my house. I described how we meet up almost every Saturday to shoot some hoops and mess around. Sometimes we play games like H-O-R-S-E or have a big 5 on 5 game. It's awesome! Then in unit 2, we learned about different cultures and traditions around the world. I found out about holidays I had never even heard of before! Like the Diwali Festival of Lights in India where people set off fireworks and decorate with tons of cool lights and lanterns. Or Day of the Dead in Mexico where families make altars and leave offerings to honor their ancestors. My favorite was probably learning about the giant Tomato Fight Festival called La Tomatina in Spain – it looks like so much fun to have a huge tomato fight in the streets! I would definitely get hit in the face a bunch of times though.Unit 3 was super interesting because it was all about technology and inventions that changed the world. We read about the printing press, the light bulb, the telephone, and so many other game-changing discoveries throughout history. My favorite invention we learned about was probably the World Wide Web and the internet. It's crazy to think about how much it has transformed communication and access to information for people all over the planet! Speaking of technology, my dream invention would probably be some kind of teleporter so I could travel anywhere in the world in an instant. That would be the ultimate video game cheat code! Finally, unit 4 focused on protecting the environment and sustainability. We learned all about things like renewable energy from the sun, wind and water, reducing waste by recycling and reusing items, and sustainable farming methods. It was kind of scary finding out about all the damage things like plastic pollution, deforestation and fossil fuels are doing to our planet. But it also inspired me to try to do better with simple things like using a reusable water bottle, recycling all my bottles and cans, and cutting down on wasted food and electricity at home. Every little bit can help make a difference! If I could make one rule for everyone to be more eco-friendly, it would be that we have to pick up any litter or trash we see on the ground. Imagine how clean our neighborhoods would stay! This school year has been such a blast. I've learned so many amazing facts about the world while also working on my reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. My English just keeps on improving which will help me a ton in the future. I'm already looking forward to next year when I'll be in 8th grade and tackling new topics and challenges. But for now, I'm just excited for summer vacation! Thanks for reading about my awesome 7th grade year. See you next time!篇6My Summer VacationHey guys! I'm so excited to tell you all about my summer vacation. It was the best summer ever! I had so many fun adventures and made lots of amazing memories. It all started at the very end of the school year. I was counting down the days until summer, making big plans with my friends. We were going to have sleepovers every weekend, go swimming at the pool every day, and play video games until our eyes couldn't stay open any longer. Summer stretched out forever with no school, no homework, and no waking up early. It was going to be the life! The first few weeks of summer passed by in a blur of fun. My friend Michael had a huge trampoline in his backyard and we spent hours bouncing on it, trying to outdo each other with flips and tricks. I had a few scrapes and bruises from falling, but it was totally worth it. We also went to the movies a bunch of times to see all the big summer blockbusters. My favorite was the superhero movie - the action scenes were insane!Around the 4th of July, my family traveled to visit my aunt, uncle and cousins who live a few states away. The drive took forever but it was cool seeing different cities and landscapes out the car window. My cousins have a pool in their backyard and Ibasically lived in it for those two weeks. We had swimming races, cannon ball contests, and Marco Polo tournaments. In the evenings, we'd roast marshmallows over the fire pit and stay up late watching movies and telling spooky stories. When I got back home, there was a summer camp I was really excited to attend. It was an outdoor adventure camp with hiking, rock climbing, canoeing, archery and survival skills. I was a little nervous at first since I didn't know anyone, but I quickly made friends with some other kids. We became a tight group, challenging each other on the rock wall and camping out under the stars. I hadn't spent much time outdoors before, so it was awesome learning how to navigate by the sun, build a fire, and identify different plants and animals. I felt like a total pro by the end!The last few weeks of summer, my friends and I just hung out as much as humanly possible. We had lemonade stands, water balloon fights, and video gaming marathons. My friend Sara's parents even rented a huge waterslide for her birthday party - it was epic! We spent long nights outside playing capture the flag and flashlight tag, not wanting the fun to ever。
