（1）中国古典舞：指具有古典风格的中国舞 蹈。是在民间舞蹈基础上经过历代舞蹈艺术家们 的提炼、加工、整理，创造而逐渐形成的。它有 着整套规范化的舞蹈技艺、程式化的表现手段、 严谨的训练体系和相对稳定的审美原则。
中国古典舞大多保存在戏曲舞蹈中。在表演上 手、眼、身、法、步的紧密配合使中国古典舞更具 有传统特色。从20世纪50年代初期，当时的舞蹈工 作者为创作繁荣民族舞蹈艺术，对中国古典舞进行 了挖掘、整理，继承了中国戏曲表演中的舞蹈步伐、 身段、武术、毯子功等精华，借鉴和参考芭蕾的训 练方法，编写了中国古典舞训练教材。在80年代， 由李正一、唐满城两位教授创建了中国古典舞身韵 教材，标志着中国古典舞不仅从外形上而且从内在 的神韵上都找到了与中国传统文化精神相一致的东 西。使中国古典舞蹈成为独立的具有鲜明的民族性 和时代性的审美特征的舞蹈体系。

交互绳作为花样跳绳项目中的一个重要单项，别于传统的跳绳，需两人同时摇动两根绳子，绳中有人或多人跳跃，该项目有效地融合了舞蹈等时尚元素，表演队伍需要跟随不同的音乐节拍跃动，在表演时尤其需要团队合作和创意编排。
交互绳比赛（DDC）是一项国际性的比赛。
交互绳大赛则是一个国际性赛事，从2002年开始举办，目前已有美国、日本、法国、比利时、韩国、印度和香港等八个国家和地区每年举办巡回赛，每个巡回赛的冠军将有机会参加世界交互绳大赛，2015年7月26日世界交互绳大赛将在法国巴黎举办。
世界交互绳大赛的宗旨是将交互绳这个项目推广到世界各地。
回首过去十多年的赛事发展历程，首届世界交互绳大赛只有11支参赛队伍，如今每年有一百多支队伍参赛。
并发展了比利时、新加坡、美国等多个分赛区。
