Unit3 could you please clean your room?本单元语法用could 提出请求和征求许可1.用could 提出请求:常见的结构是“Could you(please)do sth?”,意为“(请)你做某事,好吗?”,是一种比较客气、有礼貌地提出请求的方式。

如果同意对方的请求,可以用“OK.”或“No problem.”等来回答:如果不同意对方的请求,可以用“Sorry,I can't.”等来回答,并以委婉的方式来解释原因。

2.用could征求许可:常见的结构是“Could I do sth?”,意为“我能/可以做某事吗?”。

八下Unit 3 Could you please clean your room?习题+讲义1.She didn’t do any housework and neither/nor did I. 如:she doesn’t go to school,neither do INeither两个主要词性1.做副词,“也不”相当于nor.常用结构为(1)“neither+连系动词be(am,is,are)/助动词(do/does/did)/情态动词(should, will, must, can, could等)+主语”表示“…也不”此时,可用nor替换,这是一个倒装结构,表示前面否定的情况也同样属于后者。

注意与so的区别:She did some housework and so did I.这句话so作副词,意为“也是如此”,“so+系动词(助动词或情态动词)+主语”表示前面所述内容也适用于另一个人或物(2) "neither…nor…"意为“既不…也不…”用于否定两个并列的成分,谓语遵循“就近原则”。

He likes neither apples nor bananas. Tom isn't a teacher, neither is Mary.2.作代词,意为“两者都不”,反义词为both,常用结构为“neither of+主语+谓语(可单可复)”。

如:The more he explained, the better we understood.他解释的越多,我们就理解的越透彻。

语法聚焦情态动词could的用法1.表示“能力”或“可能性”,作为can的过去形式。

如:Could you speak English then?那时你能讲英语吗?He said he couldn't follow me. 他说他跟不上我。

2.比较委婉客气地提出问题或陈述看法。

如:—Could you let me have your passport?—Yes, here it is. —看看你的护照好吗?—行,这就是。

I could come earlier, if necessary. 如果必要我可以早点来。

3.can, could 和be able to的区别与联系1.could 与can 的用法区别:都用于表示请求的句子中。

can 表示一般性的请求,语气较随便,could 表示有礼貌的请求,语气委婉,常用于非熟人之间。

1. could可做can的过去式,也可当情态动词原型,其表示比can更委婉的语气,在回答由could 表示请求的问句中,不用could,要用can.如:—Could you lend me a hand?你可帮我吗?—Of course I can.当然可以。

2.在表示现在或过去的智力、体力、技能等方面的“能力”时,can, could 常可与be able to互换。

如:He could (or was able to) swim five miles when he was a boy.当他还是个男孩的时候他可以游五公里。

3. be able to有比can更多的形式,如"will be able to","have (has) been able to" "had been able to" 等等。

因此be able to常被用来表示can所不能表示的将来或完成的概念。

如:they will be able to run this machine on their own in three months. 他们过三个月就能自己开这台机器了。

4.在表示成功地做了某事时,不用could,而用was / were able to (或managed to, succeeded in doing sth )来表示。

如:He was able to (or managed to) finish the job yesterday。
