开学以来最让我难忘的一件事英语作文

开学以来最让我难忘的一件事英语作文全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1The Most Unforgettable Thing Since the Start of SchoolHi, my name is Amy and I'm a 5th grader at Sunny Hill Elementary School. A lot of exciting things have happened since the new school year started a few months ago. But there's one thing that really stands out in my mind – it's the most unforgettable experience I've had so far!It all started on a sunny Monday morning. I was feeling pretty sleepy as I walked into my classroom. But then, my teacher Mrs. Roberts had a big surprise for us. "Class," she said with a huge smile, "we're going on a field trip this Friday to the Science Exploratorium!"As soon as she said that, everyone got super excited and started cheering. The Science Exploratorium is this awesome hands-on museum with all kinds of cool science exhibits. I'd been wanting to go there for ages but never had the chance. So you can imagine how thrilled I was to finally be visiting! The rest of that week just flew by as we counted down the days to the field trip. My best friend Lily and I could hardly wait. We kept talking about all the amazing things we wanted to see and do there. Finally, Friday morning arrived. We boarded the big yellow school bus, nice and early. The ride there felt like it took forever, but when we finally made it, the Exploratorium looked even bigger and more impressive than in the pictures. As we walked inside, my jaw just dropped. There were so many mind-blowing exhibits, I didn't know where to look first! There was a ginormous mirror maze, an electricity ball that made your hair stand up, a shadow room wherevyou could play with light and shapes, and so much more. It was like a real-life science wonderland.Lily and I decided to head straight for the life science section first. One of the coolest things there was this model of a gigantic human body that you could actually go inside. It had all the organs and everything, attrue-to-life size and detail. Seeing it up close like that really made me appreciate how incredible the human body is.Next up was the physics playground, which was definitely my favorite area. You could experiment with things like pulleys, levers, momentum and acceleration. I'll never forget this one exhibit where you had to run and jump on this weird platform to see how much force you could generate. According to the score I got, I packed a pretty mean wallop for a 10-year-old!We also got to see an awesome planetarium show all about the solar system and universe. I was riveted the whole time, just in awe of how astonishingly vast andmysterious space is. Watching that made me want to become an astronaut when I grow up so I can explore it for myself! After the show, we stopped for a pizza lunch at the museum cafe. My friend Tommy accidentally spilled his drink all over himself, which was pretty hilarious. Once we'd refueled, it was time for more fun and learning. The rest of the day was just a whirlwind of sights and experiences. We saw a lightning machine that let out ginormous sparks of electricity. We played with cool optical illusions that tricked our eyes and brains. We even got to meet some creepy-crawly reptiles up close, like snakes and lizards. Finally, after what felt like both a lifetime and a blink of an eye, it was time to head back to school. I could hardly keep my eyes open on the bus ride home – I was completely tuckered out! But in the very best way possible.Looking back, that field trip to the Exploratorium will forever be seared into my memory. In just one action-packed day, I made so many new discoveries and had my eyes opened to the wonders of science. Things I'd only read about in books suddenly came alive right before me.More than anything though, that trip ignited a new spark of curiosity inside me. I came home just brimming with questions about how things work and why things are the way they are. Science is so endlessly fascinating when you can experience it hands-on like that. That amazing day also reminded me how fortunate I am to have teachers and a school that provide opportunities to learn in fun, engaging ways outside the classroom. A field trip isn't just a break from the usual routine – it's a door into a whole wider world of knowledge and experiences. So even though the rest of 5th grade will surely hold many more memorable moments, I know that trip to the Science Exploratorium will always have a special place in my heart and mind. It was the start of a new era of discovering my passion for science. And that's an experience I'll never, ever forget.篇2The Most Memorable Thing Since the Start of SchoolHi everyone! My name is Lily and I'm a fourth grader at Sunny Hill Elementary School. Today, I want to share with you the most memorable thing that has happened to me since the start of this school year. Get ready because it's a really exciting story! It all started on a sunny Monday morning a few weeks after school began. I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day. Little did I know, something extraordinary was about to happen! When I arrived at school, our class had a surprise guest – a zookeeper from the local zoo! She told us that she was going to teach us all about different animals and their habitats. I was so excited because I love learning about animals. The zookeeper started by showing us pictures of various creatures like lions, elephants, and monkeys. She explained where they lived and what they liked to eat. It was really cool to learn so many new things! But the best part was yet to come. The zookeeper announced that she had brought some special animal friends with her for us to meet in person! Can you imagine how thrilled we all were?First up was a giant snake called a python. The zookeeper carefully took it out of its cage and let us touch its smooth, scaly skin. It was a bit scary at first, but also really fascinating. I had never seen a snake that big before!Next, we got to meet a funny little animal called a sugar glider. It looked like a tiny kangaroo with big eyes and a long tail. The sugar glider climbed all over the zookeeper and even sat on some of our heads! We all giggled at how cute and adventurous it was.But the real showstopper was the last animal – a beautiful owl! The zookeeper told us it was a barn owl and that they are excellent hunters. With its huge eyes and silent flight, the owl seemed almost magical. I was in awe! After meeting the animals, the zookeeper taught us more about how to take care of the environment so wild creatures can thrive. She explained that simple things like recycling and conserving water can make a big difference for animals and their homes.By the end of the visit, I felt like I had learned so much. Meeting those amazing animals up close and personal is something I'll never forget. It really sparked my passion for nature and wildlife even more.On the ride home that day, I couldn't stop talking about the zookeeper, the python, the sugar glider, and the incredible owl. My mom just laughed and said she could tell I had an unforgettable day at school.Whenever I look back on this school year, that special animal visit will always stand out as the most exciting and memorable day. It opened my eyes to the wonders of the animal kingdom and inspired me to keep learning and exploring. Maybe I'll even become a zookeeper myself someday!Well, that's my story for you. Wasn't that just the coolest thing? I can't wait to experience more incredible moments and make lasting memories throughout the rest of my time at Sunny Hill Elementary. See you next time!篇3The Most Unforgettable Thing Since School StartedIt was the first week of the new school year. I was really excited to see my friends again and start learning new things. The summer vacation felt soooo long! I couldn't wait to go back to school. On the first day, I woke up super early. I put on my new uniform, had a nutritious breakfast, and got my backpack ready. My mom drove me to school and I gave her a big hug before running into the building. I found my classroom and sat at my usual desk spot by the window. The teacher came in and after we said good morning, she told us we would have a new student joining our class. I was pretty surprised because it's rare to have new kids come in the middle of the school year. A few minutes later, the new kid walked in.His name was Tommy and he had just moved here from another city. He looked a bit nervous but tried to smile at everyone. The teacher asked him to introduce himself. Tommy said he liked sports, especially basketball. He also mentioned that he didn't have many friends yet since he was new.During recess, most of the kids went to play on the playground as usual. But Tommy was just standing alone near the fence, looking a bit lost. I felt bad for him, so I went over and introduced myself. We started chatting and I learned that Tommy's dad had to move for his new job. They had left all their friends and family behind in the old city.Tommy seemed like a really nice and fun person. I invited him to join me and my friends during recess. At first he was shy, but soon we were laughing and playing together like we'd known each other for years! From that day on, Tommy became part of our little friend group. We'd hang out at recess every day, riding bikes, playing catch and just being silly kids. Sometimes we'd get lunch together too and trade snacks. Whenever we had group projects, we'd always make sure Tommy was in our group so he felt included. There was one time when a couple of older kids started teasing Tommy for being the new kid. But me and my friends stood up for him and told those bullies to stop it. After that, they never bothered Tommy again.Slowly, Tommy started coming out of his shell. He was always smiling and laughing with us. You'd never know he was the new, shy kid from a few weeks back. Having great friends by his side really helped Tommy adjust to his new school and city.Looking back, I'm so glad I made the effort to be friends with Tommy on that first day. He's honestly one of the nicest, funniest people I know now. We have so many good memories from the past few months of hanging out together. I can't imagine whatmy daily routine at school would be like if I hadn't welcomed Tommy into our group.I think this experience taught me an important lesson - to be kind and inclusive to new people. It's not easy being the new kid, having to make friends all over again. A friendly face and some kindness can make a huge difference to someone in that situation. Just putting yourself in their shoes and thinking how you'd feel can motivate you to be a good friend. So yes, meeting Tommy and making a new best friend is definitely the most unforgettable and meaningful thing that has happened since this school year started. I'm really looking forward to making more fun memories with him and my other friends over the coming years!篇4The Most Memorable Thing Since School BeganHi everyone! My name is Amy and I'm a fifth grader. Today, I want to share with you the most memorable thing that happened to me since the new school year started. It's a story about friendship, courage, and growing up.It all began on the first day of school. I was really excited to see my friends again after the long summer vacation. However, when I arrived at the classroom, I noticed a new girl sitting alone at the back. Her name was Emily and she just transferred from another city. Emily looked really shy and didn't talk much.During recess, I saw Emily sitting by herself on a bench in the playground. Some mean girls from our class started teasing her, calling her names and laughing at her. I felt really bad for Emily. She looked so scared and helpless. At that moment, I knew I had to do something.Gathering all my courage, I walked over to the bullies and told them to stop. They laughed at me too, but I didn't back down. I said that what they were doing was wrong and that they should leave Emily alone. The bullies got mad and threatened to beat me up. But my friends saw what was happening and came to my rescue. Together, we stood up to the bullies until they finally gave up and walked away. After the incident, I invited Emily to join me and my friends during recess. She was really grateful that we defended her. From that day on, Emily became part of our group. We showed her around the school, introduced her to the fun games we played, and made her feel welcomed. As time went by, Emily started opening up more. She's actually a really cool and funny person once you get to know her. We found out that we have a lot of things in common, like our love for reading and drawing. Emily is also super talented in arts and crafts. She taught us how to make beautiful friendship bracelets out of colorful strings. One day, our teacher announced that there would be a art competition at school. The theme was "What Friendship Means to Me". Emily was really excited about joining the competition. She worked really hard on her art piece, spending every recess sketching and painting. When the competition day arrived, we were all in awe of Emily's artwork. It was a beautiful painting that showed five girls of different appearances and backgrounds, holding hands together in a circle. The painting captured the essence of true friendship - accepting each other's differences and being there for one another no matter what.To our delight, Emily won first place in the competition! We were all so proud of her. During the prize-giving ceremony, Emily gave a short speech about how grateful she was to have found such wonderful friends. She said that without our kindness andsupport, she wouldn't have had the courage to pursue her passion for art. That experience really taught me about the importance of friendship, acceptance, and pursuing your dreams. I'm so glad that I stood up for Emily that day on the playground. If I didn't, I might have missed out on the opportunity of gaining an amazing friend and witnessing her incredible talent.Friendship is one of the most beautiful things in this world. It doesn't matter where you come from or what you look like. As long as you have caring friends who accept you for who you are, you can overcome any challenges that come your way. Emily and I will always cherish this special bond we share.Well, that's my story! I hope you found it interesting and memorable, just like how that experience will forever remain in my heart. Friendship is truly a wonderful gift that we should always nurture and appreciate.篇5The Most Unforgettable Thing Since the Start of School YearHi everyone! My name is Jessica and I'm a fifth grader at Sunny Hills Elementary School. Today I want to share with youthe most unforgettable thing that happened to me since the start of this school year. Get ready for an exciting story! It all began on a bright Monday morning in September. I woke up feeling super pumped because it was the first day of the new school year! I quickly got dressed in my favorite outfit - a yellow t-shirt with a smiley face and blue jeans. After gulping down my breakfast, I grabbed my brand new Spider-Man backpack and headed out the door. When I arrived at school, the hallways were buzzing with kids catching up after the long summer break. I caught a glimpse of my best friend Emily and we gave each other a big hug. "Can you believe we're in fifth grade already?" she exclaimed. I shook my head, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. The morning bell rang and we all hurried to our classrooms. My teacher, Mrs. Johnson, was waiting at the door with a warm smile. Once everyone was seated, she launched into talking about all the amazing things we'd be learning this year. I loved all my subjects, but I was especially thrilled about science because I've always dreamed of becoming a astronaut!A few weeks into the school year, Mrs. Johnson announced that our class had been selected to go on a field trip to the cityscience museum. We all cheered loudly! A field trip was definitely going to be the highlight of the year. Finally, the day of the field trip arrived. I could barely sleep the night before from anticipation. We all gathered bright and early at school to board the big yellow bus. The ride to the museum seemed to take forever, but when we finally arrived, the amazing exhibits made it worth the wait.My favorite part was the Planetarium show where we got to soar through the galaxies and learn about different planets and stars. After the show, we attended a workshop on building model rockets. This was right up my alley! Using an empty soda bottle and some other materials, I carefully constructed my own rocket.I could hardly wait to see if it would actually launch.Next, it was time for the exciting part - rocket launches! One by one, we took turns setting up our rockets on the launchpad. When it was finally my turn, I tried my best to follow all the instructions. I'll never forget the thrill of pressing that red button and watching my homemade rocket soar high into the sky! It seemed to just keep going up and up before finally landing back down on the ground."Well done, Jessica!" Mrs. Johnson cheered as I retrieved my rocket. I felt so proud and accomplished in that moment. Gettingto build and launch an actual rocket was definitely the most unforgettable part of the field trip for me.On the bus ride back to school, I kept reliving that awesome rocket launch in my mind. I had learned so much during our field trip, but more importantly, it had solidified my dream of wanting to work for NASA someday. Maybe I'll even get to design real rockets that could go to Mars!Well, that's the story of the most unforgettable thing that's happened to me so far this school year. A field trip might not seem like a huge deal to some people, but for me, it was an amazing experience that I'll never forget. I'm already looking forward to more great memories and adventures in fifth grade!。

Unusual Pets: A Unique Bond Beyond the Ordinary. In the world of pets, the usual suspects—dogs, cats, birds—are often the first to capture our hearts. However, for those seeking a more unique and unconventional companionship, there exists a vast array of unusual pets waiting to make their mark. These animals, often overlooked or misunderstood, can provide just as much love, companionship, and joy as any traditional pet.1. Hedgehogs. These prickly little creatures are becomingincreasingly popular as pets. While their spines mayinitially seem intimidating, they are actually quite gentle and affectionate. Hedgehogs are nocturnal by nature, making them a perfect pet for those who are active at night or enjoy the quiet of the early morning. They require a specific diet and care, but for those willing to put in theeffort, the rewards are a loyal and cuddly companion.2. Sugar Gliders.Sugar gliders are small, nocturnal marsupials that are native to Australia and New Guinea. They are known fortheir incredible ability to glide through the air using their patagium—a thin, membrane that stretches between their arms and legs. As pets, sugar gliders are incredibly active and require a lot of attention and interaction. They are also very social animals and enjoy being around people, making them great companions for those who enjoy being on the go.3. Ferrets.Ferrets are small, playful mammals that make excellent pets for those who enjoy a more hands-on experience. They are incredibly curious and love to explore, which can sometimes lead to them getting into mischief. Ferrets require a specific diet and care, but for those who are willing to put in the effort, they can provide hours ofentertainment and companionship.4. Lizards and Snakes. For those who prefer a more low-maintenance pet, lizards and snakes can be excellent choices. These reptiles require less interaction than mammals and can be easily cared for with a properly set up enclosure. There are many different species of lizards and snakes to choose from, each with its own unique characteristics and care requirements.5. Pot-Bellied Pigs.Pot-bellied pigs, also known as miniature pigs, are becoming increasingly popular as pets. They are intelligent, curious, and love to interact with people. Pot-bellied pigs require a lot of attention and care, including regular exercise and a diet that is specifically tailored to their needs. They can also be trained to use the bathroom outside of their enclosure, making them a more manageable pet.6. Chinchillas.Chinchillas are small, furry rodents that are native to South America. They are known for their soft, dense coats and large ears. As pets, chinchillas are relatively low-maintenance and require a specific diet and care. They are also nocturnal by nature, making them a perfect pet for those who are active at night. The Unique Bond.Owning an unusual pet can provide a unique and rewarding experience. While they may require more specific care and attention than traditional pets, the bond that forms between owner and pet is often deeper and more meaningful. These animals, while often overlooked or misunderstood, have the ability to bring joy, love, and companionship to those who are willing to open their hearts and homes to them.In conclusion, unusual pets offer a unique and rewarding companionship that goes beyond the ordinary.Whether you choose a hedgehog, sugar glider, ferret, lizard, pot-bellied pig, or chinchilla, each of these animals has the potential to bring joy and love to your life.
