【知识梳理】
完成任务型阅读的过程就是：
阅读(信息输入)→判断、分析、概括、推理(信息加工与处理)→答题(信息输出)。
一、明确任务
由于题目要求形式多样，在同一篇阅读材料中会要求完成不同的任务，因此解题前要先明确任务，做到心中有数，抓住主要信息。
二、紧扣原文
即在原文中找出问题题干所包括的信息部分，这样就可以快速准确地抓住有效信息，确保答题的准确性。如果是根据英文释义写单词的题，则一定要确保所填的单词来源于原文，切不可脱离原文，随意发挥。
三、注意读写结合
任务型阅读不仅考查学生阅读理解层面的能力，更加注重考查学生“写”的能力。若是写单词，则要注意拼写正确，词形、词性有无变化，是否需要大写；若所要完成的是短语或句子成分，则需谨慎对待，依据所给题干分析要完成的是什么句子成分，需用什么样的表达方式，不可简单草率地将文中信息直接挪用。
四、认真检查
完成任务后要重新审视材料，检查所做的答案是否复合要求，同时语言要精练准确。

Frank and Mary Smith wake up in their comfortable house in the morning and switch on the bedroom computer to get the latest news. They used to read the Times, but changed to electronic newspapers many years ago.
There is the usual news about space: another space flight has returned from Mars and scientists have discovered a new planet. Then they turn to business news: the US dollar has risen greatly in Shanghai, one of the world's leading business centres. Mary tells the computer to buy 5,000 dollars, and there is a quick response that it has been done.

Classrooms disappeared in 2030 because there was no longer any need for them: communications systems have made it much easier to learn at home.
Louise, now thirteen, is studying Chinese at present, which has become a world language as important as English. Louise has many Chinese friends. They communicate by computer.
According to the family doctor, Louise will live to at least 130. Her wish is to work for a few decades (十年) and then spend her time on music and painting.

I’ve always wanted to try rock climbing, but never had time or money for it. But I’ve discovered a way to experience the thrill of climbing rock. Anna lived on the side of a valley in Australia. Although she was poor, she was always helpful. One winter, there was a very big flood, and a lot of houses were washed away. Anna’s house was high enough to escape the flood. So, when the water had disappeared, here house was not damaged.
However, Anna’s house was quite small and there were only two little bedrooms. Her husband died of illness when their four children were very young. But, Anna shared her house with one of the families that had lost everything in the flood until it was possible for them to rebuild their own house.

Have you heard about teleworking? It means working from a distance, in other words, not working in an office but working at home. You use the computer and the Internet to keep in touch with your boss, but instead of being tired of an office work, you can work in your own comfortable room.
The idea sounds nice, doesn't it? You can do all your research on the World Wide Web, and send in all your work by e-mail. Well, that's exactly what my boss said to me two years ago. "Jenny, how would you like to work at home?" he said.
At first everything was great. My job was editing articles for a university, and so I spent most of my time sitting in front of a monitor and typing busily at the keyboard. Through the Internet I had access to all the information I could possibly want.
