Period Five Writing—Writing a journal entry写作指导本单元的作文是写一篇英语日记,英语日记一般记录一天发生的事件或自己感受最深的事,可分为记事、议论、描写、抒情等。

写英语日记要注意下面几点:一、格式日记由书端和正文组成。

书端指写日记的星期、日期和天气,顶格写在左上角,先写星期,然后写日期,最后再写天气。

(例如:Tuesday February 26th,2019Sunny)二、时态谓语动词多用一般过去时态,但是要根据具体情况使用其他时态。

三、写正文时应注意的问题1.围绕一个主题来展开。

2.若无法用已学语言知识来表达某种意思,可采用“同义转换法”。

3.结尾最好用一句话来总结自己的感想或体会。
