《专业英语》教学大纲
二、教学目标及任务
本课程以生态学学科的要求为指导方向介绍专业英语的基本内容、重要性与发展动态，解决学生英文文献阅读、英文文章写作、英语交流等实际存在的难点。通过小组讨论、多媒体、演讲、趣味小项目等教学方式激发学生的英语学习热情；培养生态学的学生在英语听、读、写三者之间的协同发展，特别是学生普遍缺乏的英语说的能力，最终能让学生具备一定的生态学国际视野。

第一章：Introduction

本章教学要求：了解专业英语的发展史和研究前沿，专业英语的范畴，知名学说和概念的英语翻译；理解专业英语重要性；掌握常见的生态学概念英语词汇，了解本门课程将会涉及的具体章节。
本章重点、难点：专业英语词汇的范畴，知名学说的英文翻译。
第二章Earth’s Climate System
第一节Earth’s Energy Budget

第二节The Atmospheric System

本章教学要求：基于英语理解生态系统的组成，明确每个系统中最为重要的物理化学过程，了解大气圈、水圈、岩石圈的概念，初步掌握全球变化和生态学系统中关联。
本章重点、难点：用英语表达大气圈、水圈、岩石圈的概念以及各自的生物化学特征。

五、考核方式及要求
平时课堂考勤占10%、2次小测验10%，期中考试30%，期末笔试50%。
