Unit 9 It’s raining!Section AGrammar Focus-3b教学设计一、教材分析 :本课是六年级下册Unit 9 It’s r aining! Section A的第二课时，本单元的核心话题是谈论天气，通过不同的形容词及时态，涉及两个主要语言功能项目：一是运用How’s the weather? 及描述天气情况的形容词来谈论不同城市的天气状况；二是继续运用上一单元所学的现在进行时态，来描述人们的即时活动。
因此，本课时的重点是：复习运用描述天气的形容词，询问天气情况的句式，并复习现在进行时，要求学生熟练掌握并正确运用描述天气的词类和句式。
谈论天气这一话题与我们的日常生活相关，所以有助于提高学生的学习兴趣，提高学生的英语口语能力，对于他们理解现在进行时也是一个极大的帮助。
此外，谈论天气也是西方人见面时的常用的聊天话题，本课时的学习不仅能让学生学会如何询问和描述天气，同时也是一种西方文化的渗透，可以帮助学生更好地了解中西方文化的差异。
二、学情分析：刚刚步入初中的学生，其英语基础知识和听说能力普遍较差。
大部分学生虽然在小学接触过英语，但有很大的不稳定性，应用能力十分薄弱。
因此，面对学生掌握英语的程度不一，要努力做好中小学的衔接，多增加练习及应用训练，培养良好的学习习惯。
学生们通过Unit 8 的学习，已经对现在进行时有了初步的了解，练习难度不是很大，虽然有些同学对学好英语缺乏自信，不敢用英语表达；缺乏小组合作意识；但与此同时，对于好奇心强，求知欲、表现欲旺盛的六年级学生来说，他们学习英语既感到好奇又担忧，希望能得到他人的肯定。
尤其是对新话题，他们更乐意去学习，更乐于接受“玩中学，学中玩”。
因此我在教学活动中尽量让他们参与到活动中来，有更多的机会来说英语，减少他们的恐惧感，通过学生间的合作学习，降低他们的学习难度，使他们体验到成功的喜悦。
提高他们综合运用语言的能力，使各层次的学生都有所收获。
