向外国友人介绍中国旅游景点的英语作文

向外国友人介绍中国旅游景点的英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Places to Visit in ChinaHi friends! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I was born in Beijing, which is the capital city of China. China is a huge country with lots of different landscapes like mountains, rivers, deserts and beaches. There are so many amazing places to visit! Today I want to tell you about some of my favorite tourist spots in China. The Great WallOne of the most famous attractions in China is the Great Wall. It's a massive wall built a really long time ago to protect China from invasions. The Great Wall snakes across the mountains in northern China for thousands of miles! Some parts are so steep and narrow, it makes me dizzy just looking at it. But it's really cool to imagine how much work it took to build something so enormous stone by stone. My family took me to walk along the Great Wall near Beijing. Even though it's old, the stone pathways are still in good shape so it's easy to hike. We could see the Wall twisting through the green hills and valleys for miles in each direction. At the highest watch towers, you get amazing views of the surrounding countryside. Just be prepared to climb a lot of steps! The Forbidden CityAnother incredible place in Beijing is the Forbidden City. It used to be the royal palace for emperors and their families and servants during ancient times. No ordinary people were allowed inside, which is why it's called the Forbidden City. The palace complex is absolutely ginormous, with nearly 10,000 rooms! It's surrounded by a moat and huge walls with elegant towers on the corners. Inside, there are dozens of temples, gardens, libraries, and living quarters all connected by beautiful courtyards and corridors. Everything is painstakingly decorated with carvings, paintings, pottery and jade.My favorite areas were the Imperial Garden with its pools and bridges, and the Treasure Galleries which display amazing artworks and jewels from centuries ago. The Forbidden City feels like walking through a real-life fairy tale kingdom! The Terracotta WarriorsWhen I visited the city of Xi'an, I got to see one of the most mindblowing archaeological discoveries ever - the Terracotta Warriors! These life-size soldier statues were buried underground for over 2,000 years before being uncovered in the 1970s.The warriors were created to guard the tomb of China's first emperor, Qin Shi Huang. There are thousands of individually carved warrior figures along with horses and chariots in battle formation. Each soldier statue has unique facial features and details like hairstyles and clothing. It's amazing that they could craft such realistic figures out of clay and then bake them at that time! The warriors are displayed in an enormous hangar-like museum. As you walk through the different exhibits, you feel like you've stepped into an ancient battlefield frozen in time. I loved seeing the rows and rows of warriors standing at the ready as if they could jump into action at any moment. The craftsmanship is just incredible! The Li RiverFor some of the most beautiful natural scenery, you have to cruise down the Li River in southern China's Guangxi province. The scenery along this snaking river is like a traditional Chinese painting come to life!Karst hills and peaks jut straight up from the river banks, their unique shapes sculpted by erosion over millennia. Some look like twisting dragons, others like arches or carved sculptures. Many have lush vegetation clinging to the craggy slopes. As our boat drifted along, it felt like we were gliding through a magical land of hazy mist-shrouded peaks.Little villages and farms line the shores where you can see traditional bamboo homes and fishermen rowing sampans. Water buffalos cool themselves in the shallows while kids play along the banks. It was so peaceful and serene, the perfect way to take in the stunning vistas. The Chengdu Panda BaseWho doesn't love pandas? These cute black and white bears are kind of like the national mascot of China. That's why visiting the Chengdu Panda Base in Sichuan Province was a huge highlight for me. This massive reserve is dedicated to breeding pandas and reintroducing them into the wild.At the base, there are large habitats designed to mimic the pandas' natural bamboo forest environment. You can watch the pandas lounging in the trees, munching on bamboo, and playing with each other. The baby panda nursery is definitely the cutest area - the tiny newborn cubs look like fluffy stuffed animals! They also have a panda museum that teaches about panda biology and conservation efforts. I learned that pandas are an endangered species, which makes places like this super important for protecting them. Overall it was such a fun day seeing these amazing animals up close. Pandas are just the best! Those are some of my favorite destinations in China so far, but there are countless other breathtaking places I still want to explore like the Rainbow Mountains of Zhangye, the ancient water towns, the incredible Buddhist grottoes and more. China is full of wonders waiting to be discovered!I hope you all get the chance to visit my country one day. Maybe I'll even be your tour guide and show you around myself. China has such a long history and diverse landscapes - you could travel here forever and still find new surprises. Let me know if you ever make it to Beijing!篇2My Favorite Places to Visit in ChinaHi friends! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I live in Beijing, the capital city of China. China is a huge country with lots of amazing places to see and visit. Today I want to tell you about some of my favorite tourist spots that I've been to with my family. Get ready for an exciting journey! The Great WallOne of the most famous attractions in China is the Great Wall. It's a massive wall built a really long time ago to protect ancient China from invaders. The Great Wall snakes across the mountains in the north of China for thousands of miles! Some parts are wide enough for armies to march along the top. Other sections are steep and narrow. My family and I hiked along a restored part near Beijing. It was tough climbing up all those stone steps, but the views from the top were breathtaking. You could see the Wall winding through the green hills and valleys as far as the eye could see. The Great Wall makes you feel tiny compared to this giant creation built by human hands so many centuries ago.The Terracotta WarriorsAnother famous sight is the Terracotta Warriors near Xi'an. These are thousands of detailed life-size warrior statues buried underground to guard an emperor's tomb over 2,000 years ago! The warriors were only discovered in 1974 by some farmers digging a well. Each warrior statue is unique, with different facial features, heights, and even different hairstyles. It's amazing that they were all sculpted out of solid clay so long ago. The warriors stand in underground pits, ranked in military formation like an army ready for battle. Seeing them lined up row after row was both spooky and fascinating! The Forbidden CityWhen my family visited Beijing, we spent a whole day exploring the Forbidden City. This was the grand palace where China's emperors lived with their families and officials for almost 500 years. The name comes from the fact that ordinary people were forbidden from entering. Only the emperor, his household, and servants could go inside. The Forbidden City is absolutely huge, with 9,999 rooms! It's surrounded by a moat and high walls with watchtowers. Inside are ornate buildings with curved roofs, elaborate decorations, throne rooms, living quarters, gardens, and even a zoo. My favorite was the Hall of Supreme Harmony where the emperor gave his most importantceremonies. I felt like a little emperor as I walked through such an amazing palace frozen in time.Chengdu Panda BaseOne of my all-time favorite places is the Chengdu Panda Base. As you probably know, pandas are one of China's national treasures. These cuddly black-and-white bears are endemic to China and a symbol of friendship. At the Panda Base, you can view pandas of all ages in naturalistic enclosures filled with lush bamboo forests, hills, and pools. The baby pandas are just about the cutest things ever as they tumble and play. But even the adult pandas look sweet and gentle as they munch on bamboo. The staff at the base work hard to breed pandas and reintroduce them into wild habitats. I got to watch the pandas being fed and learned all about their life and conservation efforts. It was a dream come true to see these rare, beloved animals up close!Colorful CountrysideI could go on and on about all the awesome destinations in my country. China is a land of ancient history and culture, iconic sights, mouth-watering cuisine, and breathtaking natural scenery. From the deserts of Xinjiang to the tropical beaches of Hainan Island, there is so much diversity packed into one huge nation. Ifeel really lucky to be able to explore these amazing places as a kid.I hope you've enjoyed hearing about some of my favorite tourist attractions in China. Maybe someday you can come and experience the wonder of China for yourselves! I'll be happy to show you around and be your guide. China is truly an incredible place with treasures around every corner just waiting to be discovered. Let me know if you have any other questions - I could talk about traveling China all day! Until next time, xia xia!篇3China is a Huge Country with Lots to See!Hi there! My name is Xiao Ming, and I'm a 10-year-old boy from Beijing, China. I love my country and all the amazing places there are to visit. Today, I want to tell you about some of my favorite tourist spots in China. Get ready for an exciting journey! The Great Wall of ChinaHave you ever heard of the Great Wall of China? It's one of the most famous landmarks in the world! This massive wall stretches for thousands of miles across the northern part of China. It was built a really long time ago to protect China frominvaders. Can you imagine how many bricks were needed to build something that big?I've been to the Great Wall a few times with my family, and it's always an incredible experience. When you stand on the wall and look out, you can see it winding over the mountains like a huge dragon. It's steep in some parts, so be prepared for a climb! But don't worry; there are also flatter sections where you can walk more easily. One of my favorite things about the Great Wall is all the watchtowers along the way. They're like little castles where soldiers used to keep a lookout for enemies. You can climb up inside some of them and imagine what it must have been like to be a guard defending the wall. The Terracotta WarriorsAnother amazing place in China is the Terracotta Warriors in Xi'an. This is an underground museum where you can see thousands of life-size clay soldiers, horses, and chariots. They were buried with an emperor over 2,000 years ago to protect him in the afterlife. When you first walk into the museum, you'll be amazed by the sheer number of warriors standing in formation. Each onehas a different facial expression and uniform, and they look ready for battle. It's kind of creepy but also really cool!My favorite part is seeing the different ranks of soldiers, from the regular foot soldiers to the generals on horseback. You can even spot some warriors with their arms or legs broken off, which makes you wonder what kind of battles they fought in.One thing that's really neat is that archaeologists are still digging up more warriors every year. Who knows what other treasures they'll uncover? The Forbidden CityNext up is the Forbidden City in Beijing, which used to be the imperial palace for China's emperors. It's called the "Forbidden City" because regular people weren't allowed to enter back in the day.As you walk through the massive gates, you'll feel like you've been transported back in time. The buildings are made of beautiful red and yellow wood, with intricate carvings and paintings everywhere. One of my favorite spots is the Imperial Garden, which has these amazing rock gardens with weird-shaped rocks that looklike animals or people. There are also little bridges over ponds where you can see koi fish swimming.Another cool part is the museum with all the emperor's treasures, like jade carvings, silk robes, and even a giant pearl the size of a baseball! Just be warned – there's a lot of walking involved, so wear your comfy shoes. The Leshan Giant BuddhaNow, let me tell you about the Leshan Giant Buddha in Sichuan Province. This is a massive stone statue of Buddha that's over 200 feet tall! It's carved right into the side of a mountain overlooking a river. When you first see the Giant Buddha, it's hard to believe how huge it is. His feet alone are as big as a house! You can climb up to the top of the mountain and look down at his head, or you can take a boat ride on the river to see him from below. One of the coolest things is that there are these tiny caves and temples carved into the cliff around the Buddha. Imagine how long it must have taken the sculptors to carve all of that by hand!If you're lucky, you might even get to see monks doing special ceremonies or prayers in front of the Buddha. It's a really peaceful and spiritual place. The Li RiverFinally, I have to tell you about the Li River in Guangxi Province. This is a beautiful winding river that flows through these incredible karst mountains that look like giant green spikes sticking out of the ground. The best way to experience the Li River is by taking a boat tour. You'll float down the river, surrounded by the towering mountains and passing through little fishing villages. It's like something out of a fairy tale! One of the coolest things is when the boat goes through these narrow gorges where the mountains are so close together on either side. Sometimes, you can even see people living in little houses built right into the cliffs!Another highlight is the cormorant fishermen you might see. These are traditional fishermen who use trained birds to help them catch fish. It's a really old technique that's been passed down for generations. And of course, no trip to the Li River is complete without taking a million pictures of the incredible scenery. Just make sure you don't drop your camera in the river!Well, those are some of my favorite tourist spots in China. I hope you'll get a chance to visit them someday and see how amazing they are for yourself. China is such a huge and beautiful country with so much history and culture to explore. Who knows, maybe I'll even see you there one day!篇4My Favorite Places to Visit in ChinaHi friends! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I was born in Beijing, the capital city of China. China is a huge country with lots of amazing places to visit. Today, I want to tell you about some of my favorite tourist spots in China that you should definitely check out if you come here!Let's start with the Great Wall of China. This is probably the most famous attraction in my country. The Great Wall is a massive ancient wall that stretches for thousands of miles across northern China. It was built a really long time ago to protect China from invaders. When you visit, you can walk along the top of the wall and see the beautiful mountains and countrysidearound it. Climbing up and down the steep steps is tiring but so much fun! My favorite part of the Great Wall is in Beijing near where I live.Another iconic sight in Beijing is the Forbidden City. This was the palace where Chinese emperors lived hundreds of years ago. It's called the Forbidden City because regular people weren't allowed to go inside back then. Nowadays, anyone can visit and explore the many halls, gardens, and other buildings inside the palace walls. I'm always amazed by how big, colorful and intricately decorated everything is. The Forbidden City almost feels like a small city itself! If you like pandas, then you have to go to Chengdu to visit the Panda Research Base. Pandas are these cute black and white bears that are found in the wild only in China. At the research base, you can see pandas of all ages - from tiny baby cubs to adult giant pandas. They mostly just eat bamboo and laze around, which is pretty adorable to watch. My little sister's favorite animal is the panda so we've been to this place many times.Speaking of animals, one of the coolest experiences I've had in China was seeing the Terracotta Warriors near Xi'an. These are thousands of life-sized clay soldier statues that were buriedunderground for over 2,000 years! Each one has a unique facial expression and they were created to guard the tomb of China's first emperor. It's mindblowing that people back then could make something so intricate without modern tools and technology. The Terracotta Warriors remind me of how advanced ancient Chinese civilization was.Down in southern China, there's a place called Guilin that's famous for its beautiful natural scenery of karst hills. Karst hills are these tall, thin towers of rock surrounded by rivers and caves. You can take a boat cruise down the Li River to admire the stunning mountain and water views. Guilin and the nearby Yangshuo county are extremely picturesque, with lush green hills everywhere you look. I went on a family vacation there last year and we had so much fun exploring the countryside. Those are some of the highlights, but of course, there are countless other cool places across China's vast lands. The country has such a rich culture and history going back thousands of years. Every region has its own unique traditions, foods, architecture and landscapes to discover. One of my dreams is to visit all of China's most famous sites before I become an adult. I feel so lucky to have been born in such an amazing country with so many iconic attractions. If youever get a chance to come to China, I hope you'll get to experience the Great Wall, Forbidden City, Terracotta Warriors, pandas and Guilin for yourself. Let me know if you need any other China travel tips - I'll be happy to share!篇5My Favorite Places to Visit in ChinaHi friends! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I was born in Beijing, the capital city of China. China is a huge country with so many amazing places to see and explore. I'm excited to tell you about some of my favorite tourist spots! The Great Wall of ChinaOne of the most famous attractions in China is the Great Wall. It's a massive wall built a really long time ago to protect ancient Chinese cities from invaders. Parts of the Great Wall wind across mountains and deserts for thousands of miles! I've visited a section near Beijing called Badaling. It has a cool castle-like watchtower you can climb up. From the top, you get an incredible view of the Wall snaking along the mountain ridges. My grandpa says walking on the Great Wall makes you feel tiny compared to this incredible thing built so long ago by hand. The Forbidden CityAnother iconic Beijing site is the Forbidden City, which was the grand palace for Chinese emperors and their families and staffs. It's called the Forbidden City because commoners weren't allowed to go inside for a very long time. The Forbidden City is made up of nearly a thousand beautiful old buildings interconnected by courtyards and gardens. My favorite part is the intricate decorations like the dragon sculptures and the bright yellow glazed roof tiles that shine in the sun. When you're inside, it feels like being transported back in time to ancient imperial China! The Terracotta WarriorsIn the city of Xi'an, there's an unbelievable archaeological find called the Terracotta Warriors. Thousands of detailedlife-sized soldier and horse statues were discovered buried underground for over 2,000 years! Each warrior statue is unique, with different facial features and poses. It's mindblowing to think that these terra-cotta figures were created so long ago just to guard an emperor's tomb. The warrior pits feel like an underground museum frozen in time. The Bund in ShanghaiShanghai is China's biggest city and it has a famous waterfront area called the Bund. The Bund has a line of grand neoclassical buildings from the 1800s and early 1900s facing the futuristic skyscrapers across the Huangpu River. At night, the whole riverside lights up in a dazzling array of colors. Taking a cruise along the Huangpu lets you see the Bund from different angles. The Bund is a perfect place to appreciate the fascinating blend of modern and historic architecture in Shanghai.Guilin's Karst HillsGuilin is a city surrounded by incredible natural scenery of karst hills. Karst landforms are created by erosion slowly dissolving the limestone rock over millions of years into peaks, pillars, and caves. Cruising on the Li River that winds through the karst hills is like floating through a traditional Chinese painting come to life. The cone-shaped green hills with wispy clouds seem to go on forever. Many people say Guilin has the most picturesque countryside in all of China.Chengdu's Panda ReservesChengdu is famous for its giant panda reserves, which are sanctuaries for protecting and breeding these adorable black and white bears. At a place like the Chengdu Research Base, you can watch baby pandas snuggled up sleeping or tumblingaround playing. The adult pandas munch on bamboo all day and are so lazy and cuddly-looking. Pandas are basically the mascot animal of China and it's amazing to see them up close enjoying their forest habitat. The Potala Palace in LhasaWay up in the mountains of Tibet is the city of Lhasa, home to the breathtaking Potala Palace. For centuries, this massive dzong fortress was the highest palace in the world at over 12,000 feet above sea level! The Potala has thousands of rooms spread across its white and red buildings that cling to the mountain ridge. The architecture is incredibly unique, blending Tibetan and Indian influences. Walking through the Potala feels like exploring a real-life Shangri-La.That's just a small sampling of the awesome places you can visit in the vast land of China. From the Silk Road deserts in the west to the tropical beaches in the south, there are so many diverse sites and experiences awaiting in this country with thousands of years of history and culture. Hopefully you can come explore China's treasures with me someday! Let me know if you have any other questions.篇6China - A Land of Wonders for Young ExplorersHi there, friends from far away! You'll feel like a brave warrior guarding the kingdom as you walk along the winding path and take in the breathtaking views.Another place you simply can't miss is the Forbidden City in Beijing. It's a massive palace complex that used to be home to the emperors of China. With its grand halls, intricate carvings, and beautiful gardens, it's like stepping into a real-life fairy tale.
