维特根斯坦在《哲学研究》中提出了“意义即使用”的理论，即“词的意义是它在语言中的用法”[3]，这一理论为原文的意义在译语中获得再生提供了重要的参考。
于翻译而言，译者必须明确词语的意义不是孤立的，文本的意义并非词语的简单相加，而是要着力于作品意义的整体性，让意义在交流中得到再生。
“诗歌是语言艺术的最高形式，讲究音乐美、形式美和意境美”[2]，由于不同语言及文化间存在差异，因此也是最难翻译的文学体裁之一，诗歌翻译需“传情达意”，否则难免损害其艺术性和审美价值。
《春江花月夜》是唐代诗人张若虚的作品，词句清丽，韵调优美，脍炙人口，有“以孤篇压倒全唐”之誉。
本文将以《春江花月夜》及许渊冲先生的英译本为例，说明意义再生在古诗英译中的应用。
2 意义再生的三点原则意义不是确定的、客观的、唯一的存在，翻译的根本任务是意义再生。
在翻译中，原文的多意性、情境为读者提供了广阔的理解空间，而译文由于译者理解或文化背景问题，往往会缩小读者的阅读空间，失去原文的精髓。
为使诗歌的意义得以再生，译者在充分理解诗句后，不应拘泥于字词本身，而应结合其文化背景合理创造。
许钧在所著的《翻译概论》中提出了意义再生的三原则：去字梏、重组句、建空间[4]，这为意义的再生提供了方法指导，本文以《春江花月夜》英译为例，分析这三点原则的具体体现和应用。
２．１ 去字梏“去字梏”要求译者从原文字的束缚中解放出来，在动态的语境中充分理解原文字词的含义，使其在译文中获得意义的再生。
在英语中，词是可以独立运用的最小单位，但英语和汉语的词并非是完全对应的，从词义上看，二者表现为部分对应为常态，完全对应罕见。
这时，拘泥于原文词句的翻译往往会“因信害意”，许钧指出，破字梏并不是破除字的存在，对于原文的字词，必须要考虑新的文化土壤，新的社会背景，而不能机械照搬，否则译文就失去了生机与活力[4]，所以译者应结合语境和文化背景选用最佳的词汇。

对比分析三个英译本对《春江花月夜》中主语省略的翻译作者：曾祥芳来源：《青年文学家》2012年第17期摘要：《春江花月夜》自明朝以来受到了众多学者的重视和推崇。
但《春江花月夜》后半部分因为主语省略而带来的抒情主人公究竟是谁的疑问却历来没有定论，这也给本诗的翻译带来了难题。
本文以三个英译本为例，对比分析译者对诗中后半部分主人公的理解和翻译策略。

全诗共三十六句，可分为三部分。
第一部分从第一句到第八句，描写了春天江边的美景，第二部分从第九句到第十六句，引出了漂泊在外的游子面对江月产生的感慨，第三部分从第十七句到第三十六句，写了思妇游子的离愁别绪。
然而，学者们对第三部分的抒情主人公到底是谁却莫衷一是。
其分歧大致可分为三种。
第一种观点以霍送林先生为代表，他认为第三部分中从第二十一句“可怜楼上月徘徊” 到第二十八句“鱼龙潜跃水成文”是独在异乡的游子想象妻子对自己的相思之苦，然后，诗人描写了游子思念远在故乡的妻子。
[1]第二种观点以徐中玉先生为代表，认为第三部分全是妻子对游子的相思之情，先写相思之苦，再抒其青春不再的悲伤，最后表达希望游子能够尽快归来的美好愿望。
[2]第三种观点以闻一多先生为代表，他认为此部分均描写的是作者思归心情，只是中间含有作者的想象，闻先生解释道：因为他想到她了,那“妆镜台”边的“离人”。
他分明听见她的叹喟：此时相望不相闻，愿逐月华流照君!他说自己很懊悔,这飘荡的生涯究竟到几时为止 (3)这种分歧并无损该诗的意境，相反，这正是此诗的魅力所在。
分歧产生的原因是由于主语省略。
主语省略是中国古诗极为普遍的语法特征。
通过主语省略，使诗歌意境变得模糊和含蓄，从而将无限想象的空间留给读者。

在翻译理论方面他提出了译诗的/三美0理论,主张从意、音、形三个层面上尽量保持和传递原诗的神韵。
/三美论0(意美、音美、形美)是译诗的本体论。
三美之中,最重意美,音美次之,最后是形美,也就是说翻译是美的创造,所以神似胜于形似,要在再现原文意美的前提下,努力做到三美的统一契合。
