当2006年7月我以平均成绩90分以上，GPA3.77以及专业排名第六的优异成绩毕业后，我被厦门电业局成功录用。
厦门电业局隶属于国家电网，它是一个全国排名第二，世界500强排名32的大型公司。
当时一共有1300多人为6个应聘的席位进行了激烈角逐，大学期间的辉煌经历—4年获得学校奖学金，多次优秀学生，参加国家项目，北京市优秀毕业生—成了我应聘成功的筹码。
因此，我以一个管理信息系统的毕业生的身份成为了厦门电业局下属fleet公司的软件分公司的一员。
并且在工作之初就承担了load control terminal(负荷管理终端)的安装项目。
在项目中，我们需要设计一个计算机信息系统来实现对各个公司用电的控制，因此，对信息的可靠性和实时性具有很高的要求。
虽然公司已经使用了一套信息系统来进行控制，但是它并不能完全满足这个项目的最终需求。
这些就激起了我对进一步学习计算机知识的渴望。
至今为止，我经历了项目的实行，经历了程序的编写，经历了团队的合作，经历了工程的管理，也经历了软件的开发，我越来越感觉到，小时候打下的数学和计算机基础，以及成长过程中的经历给我现在带来了莫大的帮助。
注解：此部分最好是可以让学生按照各个学校网站的陈述说出课程的目的，与主要课程，再加一些个人将来职业的规划。
（牛津：数学和计算机这两个密不可分的部分在我的人生中扮演了非常重要的角色，在了解
了牛津大学的专业后，我发现，计算机专业的介绍：“Programming is a mathematical activity”和我产生了强烈的共鸣，我认为，这个专业既是最适合我的专业，我也是这个专业最适合的人，相信在牛津一定能为我提供最良好的师资和发展空间。

（剑桥：特别是在大学时代参加的国家项目，极大地开拓了我在计算机领域的知识面，我在项目中研究并接触了许多文本分类[topic classification]，支持向量机[support vector machines]，社会网络关联模型[social network model]，语义分析[semantic analysis]，向量空间模型[vector space model]等的相关知识。
这些知识最后成为了我们项目成果—a fast multi-pattern matching algorithm based on byte coding and jump-shifting function—的基础。
我在剑桥大学的网上所了解到的课程研究的内容正好和我所参加的国家项目中所学到并用到的很大一部分内容重合，而我想，这样的机会是很难得到的，因此，我由衷地希望能够在剑桥大学学习到更多关于这些方面的更多知识，也相信剑桥大学一定能为我的发展提供最强大的师资和环境。

（帝国理工：在我参加的国家项目中，我们小组使用Visual C++共同编写了一个 a fast multi-pattern matching algorithm based on byte coding and jump-shifting function，在程序编写的过程中，我们遇到许多问题，然而对计算机的热爱激励了我们小组克服了很多难关，而且我自己还设计了一个社会网络关联模型[social network model]，而且在这个模型上采用这个算法编写了一个程序，采用文本训练和文本过滤的方法监测局域网的数据，对局域网的用户进行监控，可视化的将用户的关系展现出来。
同时，我还学习了语义[semantic]智能分析以及知识库方面的知识，希望能把语义智能分析应用到实际中去。
而我在你们学校的网上找到了我未来感兴趣的方向，同时也相信帝国理工学院能够为我提供最好师资资源和环境，让我朝这个方向发展。

总之，计算机的应用研究在中国仍然有很大的发展空间。
现在中国缺的只是一批训练有素的有经验的研究者。
我成长中的经历给我带来了很大的收获，现在我已经明白我未来的方向：我希望把我自己投身到计算机科学的事业中去，而XX大学则是我最好的选择。
