上海电视台专访VOT国际英语创始人丁佳丁佳(VOT国际英语创始人)丁佳，英语语专业科班出身；复旦IMBA毕业，曾在全美IMBA项目排名第一的摩尔商学院攻读国际商务；曾担任政府门户网站主管，拥有11年上海机关单位记者公关经验。

您创办的VOT国际英语是一所针对青少年的一对一在线英语教育平台，我很好奇您当初为什么会选择青少年在线英语教育作为您的创业项目？丁佳：创立VOT国际英语的初心，是不希望我们的下一代跟我们80后的孩子一样，长大以后再有哑巴英语的记忆伤痕。
为他们从小构建一个听说用英语的环境。
我们下一代是互联网的原住民，完全能接受在电脑上跟老师学英语这种形式。
做在线英语教育，是顺应网络发展的大趋势。
主持人：创业并不是一件容易的事情，需要前期大量累积，那为了创业您做了哪些准备？丁佳：创业，永远等不到万事俱备的那一刻。
我感觉是兴趣所致加机缘巧合。
创业之前，我在上海机关单位过着现世安稳的小日子。
当时不满足于现状，就报考了香港大学MBA，被选去美国IMBA排名第一的摩尔商学院当交换生。
在那半年时间里，认识了一群富有激情和创造力的美国同学，还参加了USC PROVING GROUND创业大赛。
一路过关斩将，闯到决赛。
在比赛过程中，我意识到4年的英美文学的科班功底、听说能力以及演讲的重要性。
当时，5岁的儿子一起陪读，令我惊讶的是，幼儿园里全英文的环境，他1个月后就无缝适应了。
回国后，我就开始正式动手搭建VOT国际英语的团队。
美国人说创业必须有3F 支持（friends 、fool、family），可我更认为当一个人一旦下决心做一件事，全世界都会来帮助你。

Can you share your experience duringthat time?JC: Absolutely. It was a whirlwind. I remember reading the script and being immediately drawn to the character. The director, Ms. Emily Harlow, saw something in me that I wasn't even sure I saw in myself. The casting process was intense, and I was up against some incredible talent. When I got the call that I had the role, I was over the moon. It was the culmination of years of hard work and perseverance.What advice would you give to aspiring actors who are just starting outin the industry?JC: My advice would be to stay true to yourself. The industry can be tough, and it's easy to get caught up in the hustle and the chase for fame. But remember why you started. It's about the stories you want to tell and the characters you want to portray.
