由于科技的进步，城市用地已面临枯竭，土地开发速度远远跟不上工厂建设速度。
越来越多本来用于农田种粮食的土地被政府征用，来建造工厂。
还不止这样，越来越多农村劳动力涌入城市打工，造成大城市人口过多，非常拥挤，而农村却刚好相反，劳动力的大量外泄，使许多贫困的家庭没有人来中天，都少有东西吃了。
同时耕地的减少使农作物总产量下降。
虽然还有袁隆平等科学家开发出优良高产的农作物品种来弥补，但终究效果不大。
从我们小孩的角度来看，我们的童年不如父母的童年快乐，这是所有小孩都认同。
城市化的发展是有原因所在的，父母小时候没有电视机也没有电脑，他们同伙伴一起玩游戏，享受着其中的快乐，而我们整天禁锢在家中只得看电视。

我以前生活在一个农村家庭里，那里没有电脑，没有火车，没有飞机，也没有轿车。
但我们生活得很幸福，那里全是你泥沙成的小路，但那里的人们却很勤劳，树木很茂盛，空气十分清新。
现在，我生活在上海这个大城市中，我觉得很舒服，科技十分发达，但是随着科技的发达也出现了许多问题，人民变得十分懒惰万事都依赖于电脑，整天无所事事，学生也没心思学习，整天迷恋于网上游戏，学习成绩一落下滑，也不管。
现在几乎每家每户都有电脑，生活十分奢侈与浪费。
有些家长不让孩子上网，他们就跑到网吧去上网，没有钱的话，甚至还去偷前去网吧，一整夜都不回家。
每当我走到市中心，看到许许多多的车，车子也给人们带来了方便，与此同时一股难闻的汽油味扑鼻而来，汽车排放尾气，人们随意砍伐树木，天空中的大气层被破坏，从而导致了上海出现了严重的暖冬现象，冬天见不到飘飞的雪花，这是一大遗憾。
在上海，人们不用辛苦的种地，都有一份稳定的工作，每天都十分轻松，无忧无虑，还有很高的工资，可见，科技还是给人们带来了便利。
