Besides, the students involved in the survey come from urban and rural family units with its respective representation. This survey demonstrates that 137 students from urban families participate in the survey, which accounts for 41.64% of the total number, while 151 students come from rural families, which accounts for 58.35% of the total number. 151 students engage in the Internet survey, in which 81 come from urban families, accounting for 53.64%, and 70 come from rural families,accounting for 46.36% of the total number.

2.Monthly income of families

Students involved in the survey are grouped as 8 levels. The survey shows that family monthly income with less than RMB 500 yuan accounts for 1.7%, family monthly income with more than RMB 3000 yuan accounts for 5.3%, and family monthly income with RMB 1200 to 1500 yuan share the biggest proportion with 31.3%. Monthly living expenses of students are divided into 7 levels: less than RMB 400, RMB 400-500 yuan, RMB 500-600 yuan, RMB 600-700 yuan, RMB 700-800 yuan, RMB 800-900 yuan, more than RMB 1000 yuan. Concrete data is demonstrated as Table-4.

5.Ranking of all expenses of students

All expenses of students consist of expenses of food, costumes, books and material, school supplies, commodity, entertainment, Internet, dinner parties, communication, love bill and other costs, etc. Specific data is demonstrated as Table-5.

Statistics and analysis of expenses of college students

1.Descriptive Statistic Analysis

This table makes a descriptive statistic analysis on expenses, family income and personal income of college students by adopting software spss. The results are demonstrated as Table-6.

Notes:1. CONSUME refers to monthly average expenses in college of the students involved in the survey, unit: yuan, tuition and accommodation expenses are excluded.

2.STUDENTC refers to monthly average income through part-time job of students involved in the survey, unit: yuan.

3.FAMILYC refers to the monthly family income of recent 2 years of the students involved in the survey, unit: hundred yuan.

Table-6 shows that monthly expenses of college students is currently about RMB612 yuan (tuition and accommodation expenses are excluded), which accounts for 37,7% of the family income and which is within the reasonable scope. According to the quantile, monthly expenses of 75% of the students is less than RMB 650 yuan, which is currently maintaining the basic living expenses for college students. The average monthly income is RMB 153.75 yuan, and more than 75% of the monthly income is less than RMB 150 yuan. According to the further frequency analysis of spss, about 48.3% of the students can get income by part-time jobs. The survey also demonstrates that the monthly family income of about 55% of college students is less than RMB 1500 yuan, which

is probably related to the facts that considerable number is from rural areas. As to other qualitative variables, students falling in love accounts for 23.5%, students from rural areas accounts for 49.6%, students from only-child family accounts for 31.7% and students majoring in economics accounts for 18.8% through other frequency analysis.
