Unit 6 An old man tried to move the mountains.Section A ( 3a-3c )黄骅二中李凤霞一、教学资源分析本课时是2013教育部审定义务教育教科书八年级下册，第六单元Section A 部分的第二课时3a-3c。
本单元的语言目标是“讲故事”，教材编写紧紧围绕中西方的民间传说和故事安排教学内容。
Section A部分以中国的民间故事和神话为主线，设置学生听说读写的学习活动。
Section B 部分则主要以西方的民间传说和故事安排学习活动。
可以说本单元的学习为学生提供了解中西方文化的渠道。
《西游记》，无论是电视版本还是动漫版本都应该是学生非常熟悉和喜爱的内容，因此我认为开展教学活动应该不难。
二、学情分析学生基础知识扎实，能够有序开展任务型教学活动。
三、教学目标1、知识目标：80%以上的学生能会背本课的重点单词及短语。
多数学生能正确的使用hide, magic, stick, turn ...into, at othertimes, come out, become interested in 等单词和短语，能简单的对名著《西游记》及孙悟空做相关的介绍。
2、能力目标：通过本课的学习，使学生能够简单地描述孙悟空这个人物，并对我国传统文化有一定的认识。
3、情感态度：通过本课的教学，激发学生阅读名著的兴趣，同时引导学生在阅读名著时要体会中华民族文化底蕴的博大精深。
4、学习策略：阅读策略：通过阅读问题预测答案。
5、文化意识：利用多媒体播放关于中国古典名著及传说故事的视频或图片，用英语向学生渗透中国的古代文化，及其对现今社会的影响。
四、教学重难点重点：1.本课的单词及短语：object, hide,tail, magic, stick,excite, Western, turn ... into。

三、教学重难点1. 教学重点：1) 掌握本部分出现的生词和词组，达到熟练运用的目标。
2) 阅读短文，获得相关的信息。
通过阅读练习，来提高阅读能力。

四、教学用具多媒体教学机、PPT三、教学过程Step 1 warm-up播放动画片《西游记》的主题曲《猴哥》，并通过提问引出The Monkey King。
（设计意图：通过学生们熟悉的歌曲，引起学生兴趣，活跃课堂气氛）Step 2 PresentationⅠPre-reading通过图片将课文中的句子逐句在屏幕上展示出来，并且教授重点单词和教读每一个句子。

本课为人教版Go for it!八年级下Unit 6 An old man tried to move the mountains .(Section A 3a-3c)阅读课。
主要围绕telling a story这一主题展开各种教学活动，本课时旨在创造一个轻松、愉快、真实的学习、交流环境，通过习得阅读方法和语言输出的活动来培养学生综合运用语言的能力。
阅读之前我先进行了单词教学：出示图片，让学生理解，然后拿出单词卡片全班跟读3遍，抽个别学生读。
读后教师通过问相关问题检测学生是否掌握单词的意思。
我想今后单词的学习还应该再用心去思考怎样更好地让学生记住这些新词。
最好是词不离句，不离篇。
第一次快速阅读感知全文，回答三个问题时，我应该多关注那些没有集中注意力的学生，并及时给予帮助，只有通过此方法，才能发现哪些学生需要老师帮助。
第二次阅读的过程，现在想想，难度有点大，我应该根据我们学生的基础能力情况，把3b的直接填写内容，改成搭配题，降低题目难度，保持学生阅读的积极性和兴趣。
第三次阅读顺利完成。
总之，这次讲课对我来说是一次难得的机会，也是一次难忘的经验。
