教学目标
1.能听、说、读、写词汇：clock, wall, come in, sit down, be late和play computergames。
2.同桌合作或者小组合作，能用句型What time is it? It’s ...进行关于时间的问答练习。
教学准备
1.教师准备：
（1）Let’s learn部分的教学卡片。
（教师可以从“Unit1单词卡片集”中下载）（2）较大的钟表实物或者模型一个。
（3）Let’slearn部分的音频。
（教师可以从“Unit1Let’slearn单词读音集”中下载）（4）眼罩一副。
2.学生准备：小钟表或者手工制作的钟表模型一个。

一.课程导入（Leading In)
（1）课前热身
教师精神饱满地走进课堂，并亲切地和学生问候，以下问候用语可供教师参考：T: Good morning, boys and girls!
Ss: Good morning, Miss / Mr. ..!
T: Long time no see. How are you?
Ss: I’m fine. Thank you. What about you?
T: Very well. What day is it today?
Ss: It’s Monday /...

教师可以在新授内容之前，留出大约5分钟的时间，组织学生完成PartA中Warming-up的第一部分Think and draw，让学生在这几分钟之内，初步了解本课时以及本单元将要接触的话题“time”以及与时间密不可分的单词“clock”。
教师要多用鼓励性的语言激发、诱导学生的学习兴趣，让学生以轻松的心态进入到英语课堂中：Part A Warming-up: Think and draw
由于学生是第一次接触这个话题，所以教师可以先进行示范。
首先教师在黑板上画一个钟表，并且进行有引导性的自问自答：
T: What’s this? It’s a clock. What time is it?（教师在黑板上的钟表上画出7点）It’s 7 o’clock.
然后边讲边画：
T: I get up at seven.
I have breakfast at seven thirty.（教师在黑板上的钟表上画出7点30分）I have lunch at twelve.（教师在黑板上的钟表上画出12点）
在学生初步感知后，提出问题并引导其作答：
T: What time do you get up / go to school / go to bed?
Ss: ...
（这里由教师来提问，学生能画出时间即可）
二.课程展示活动和过程的设计建议（Presentation)
新课展示Let’s learn
1.教授单词clock
（1）T:It’sMondaymorning.Whattimeisit,then?Lookattheclock.It’snine.教师拿出所准备的钟表，边向学生展示边教授clock—词。
在此，教师要注意向学生强
调ck的发音为[k]，为淸辅音，并提醒他们在发这个音的时候，不要受汉语的影响在后面加上元音，发出类似“科”的音。
（2）游戏巩固：教师将钟表或者模型上的指针不断地拨到一个个不同的时间，一边演示一边讲解：
T: Look at the clock. It’s one. It’s two. It’s eight twenty. It’s twelve. ...
2.教授单词wall
（1）在教授完clock一词之后，教师将钟表轻轻地放在教室的某一面墙上，并且进行讲解:T: Look at the clock. Where is the clock? The clock is on the wall. The picture ison the wall. The book is on the wall, too.等等。
（2）教师接着拍打着墙，教授wall—词，让学生明白wall指的是什么，最后让学生自己观察教室，借助身边的事物说出：The ... is on the wall.
（3）拼读拼写单询。
教师可借助以前学过的词进行对比教学，如：tall，all，ball等等，让学生仔细观察并注意寻找拼读规律，这样可以培养学生见词能读的能力。
3.教授短语come in、be late和sit down
教师可以为学生创设一个模拟的场景，让学生在一个特定的语言环境中认知、学习这些短语。
（1）教师可先进行动作示范，让学生理解短语。
教师走到教室外面，关上门，边敲门边说：May I come in?然后自己进来，做出请人进屋的动作，并说：Come in, please.在示范完毕后，教师板书并拼读短语：come in，接着教师可以先安排3名学生站到教室外面，示意一名学生敲门，教师和学生们做如下对话：
SI: May I come in?
T: Come in, please!（教师重复短语come in若干遍）
S2: May I come in?
T & Ss: Come in. please!（教师和全班同学一起说）
S3: May I come in?
Ss: Come in, please!（全班学生一起说）
T: You are late.（教师对S1说并引导其作答）
SI: Sorry. I’m late.
T: He / She is late.（教师指着S1对全班同学说）
其余两名学生的表述均可采用这种人称转换的方式进行，最后引出be late 并带领学生重复几遍。
（2）教师逐一请这些学生坐回到各的座位上，教授短语sitdown。
这个短语对于已经有英语基础的五年级学生来说比较简单，但是教师在教授的过程中要注意sit在发音时会出现失去爆破现象。
教学小贴士
失去爆破现象：在一个单词或一个短语中，两个爆破音相遇，前一个爆破音只做出发音的口型、留出发音时间，不把这个音发出来，这种发音现象叫失去爆破。
如：do ( c ) tor si ( t) down wha ( t ) time eigh ( t) twenty
4.教授短语play computer games
T: Hey, children, do you play computer games on the weekend?（教师做出玩电脑游戏的动作）
Ss: Yes!在此，教师可以顺势带领学生重复几遍短语play computer games，让学生有个初步印象。
在教授这个短语的时候，教师可以用一本书或者文具盒充当电脑，做出玩电脑游戏的动作，边做动作边说短语，然后再让学生用各内的书或者文具盒进行模仿。
教师可以在班里找出几名动作逼真生动的学生表演，其他同学跟读该短语。
5.教师播放录音，要求学生模仿其语音语调跟读Let’s learn部分的词汇。
三.操练活动的设计与实施建议（Practice Activities)
游戏：听声音找卡片
教师每次请一名同学到讲台前来戴上眼罩，然后随机拿出一张Let’s learn部分的教学卡片，给在座的所有同学看过以后，将卡片藏在教室的某一个地方。
当教师藏好卡片后，全班同学开始重复所藏的那个卡片上的单词或者短语，戴眼罩的同学便可摘掉眼罩，并根据班里同学提示的声音来找卡片，声音越大表示离卡片越近，声音越小表示离卡片越远。
在此一定要向学生强调不可以“打小电话”哦。
