The kilt is a knee-length garment with pleats at the rear, originating in the traditional dress of men and boys in the Scottish Highlands of the 16th century. Since the 19th century it has become associated with the wider culture of Scotland in general, or with Celtic (and more specifically Gaelic) heritage even more broadly. It is most often made of woollen cloth in a tartan pattern.

李li白bai
李Li 白Bai (701–762)
was one of the greatest romantic poets of ancient China. He wrote at least a thousand poems on a variety of subjects from political matters to natural scenery.
Reason
This continuity results largely from the nature of the written language itself. It is the use of characters, not letters as in Western languages, that is most important in the Chinese language. The characters stand for things or ideas and so, unlike groups of letters. Thus Chinese could be read by people in all parts of the country in spite of gradual changes in pronunciation, the emergence of regional and local dialects, and modification of the characters .
Drama
Drama is another old and important literary form. Chinese drama usually combines vernacular language with music and song and thus has been popular with the common people. A variety of popular and standard themes are presented in Peking Opera, which is probably the best known of several operatic traditions that developed in China. Track 23
Stretching the Truth
To avoid pulling, tearing or otherwise injuring muscles, you should always warm up, right? Actually, there is little evidence to show that this is the case. While some of the world’s top athletes swear by a rigorous warm-up, others have cast real doubt on the practice by admitting that they don’t attach much importance to it at all. Several major studies have indicated that static stretches such as touching your toes yield no discernible benefit. In fact, some evidence suggests extending the limbs in this way for too long can actually impair performance on the track or in the gym.

No Pain, No Gain
There is a common belief that the best kinds of workouts are the ones that leave you aching and sore. However, while an element of discomfort is natural during any kind of physical exertion, the idea that effective exercise has to hurt is just wrong. Working out should be challenging, not painful, and serious pain in any part of the body is usually a sign that all is not well in the area concerned. Once you figure out and stick to your body’s limits – maybe pushing a little past them, but not overdoing it – you’ll get a lot more out of your workout.

Doctors and Teachers
❖ Although doctors and teachers both have professional status, there are many differences between the two professions. First, doctors are more highly respected than teachers by their communities. Second, as a rule, doctors can earn more money than teachers. For example, an experienced surgeon working in an urban area can earn over $200,000 annually while an experienced high school teacher working in an urban school district can earn up to $40,000 annually. Last, doctors have many more career options than teachers…. Moreover while doctors can easily establish a private practice and hospital affiliations in another city …. All in all, it’s easy to see that doctors have more respect, greater flexibility, and higher incomes than teachers.
