Our money is call:Renminbi.which means the people's currency.it is issued by the People's bank of China.the basic unit of Renminbi is Yuan,which sounds the same with the Yuan dynasty. The biggest note of Renminbi is 100 ,besides ,we also have 50 ,20 ,10 ,1 and some small ones.here are some samples,plz pass them around,but i need them back.Now ,the current rate between US dollar and Renminbi is about 6,5% so u can have 650 yuan for 100 dollar. Actually ,this is the selling rate of the Bank of China,since most of the Banks here belong to the government ,so we only have one rate throughout China,which may not the same with what u have at home,so we don't have these questions like :where can i get abetter rate?''But u may get a better rate if u hold the traveller's checks.which means ,f the bank is buying from u ,they will have a bit better rate for u .but not so much ,indeed .U can change ur money at the hotel ,which repreasents the government too. By the way,please remember ,everytime u change the money ,u will be given a receipt,plz keep those receipts,because if u still have some extra Chines money before u leave China,u can change it back by only using those receipts.ok,so now,any questions about the money exchange?so now ,I'd to say something about the hotel accommodation.we r going to stay in the beijing hotel.which is one of the best hotel in Beijing with five stars.This hotel is something like what uhave at home,good services and high quality of food and other stuffs.and most of the staffs there speak both Chinese and English,and they serve the Chines traditional food as well as the western food.besides ,u can find virous of drinks at the mini bar.what's more,u can makea long distance directly from ur room and there will be a directory telling u the numbers u need and how to dial.or u can buy a phone card in the hotel .which is much cheaper than using ur mobile.fr thouse who want to send postcards back to home ,u can do it right n the front desk.it usually costs 10 yuan to US and takes about 2 weeks.。
