英语作文出去游玩给朋友的一封信

英语作文出去游玩给朋友的一封信Dear Sam,Hi! I'm so excited to tell you all about the amazing trip I just went on with my family. We went to the beach for a whole week and had the best time ever! I have so much to share with you.We left really early on Saturday morning to drive to the coast. It took forever, like 5 hours in the car! I brought my gameboy and played lots of games, but I still got pretty bored after a while. When we finally arrived, I could smell the ocean air and I knew we were close. As soon as we got to our beach house, I raced upstairs to claim the best bedroom. It had a window seat overlooking the ocean and I could hear the waves crashing onto the shore. The beach was just a few minutes walk away through some dunes covered in tall grass. I dumped my stuff and begged Mom and Dad to go to the beach right away! The sand was so soft between my toes and the water was freezing cold but I didn't care. I spent hours playing in the waves, building sandcastles, and burying my little brother up to his neck. He cried a little at first but then thought it was funny. There were all kinds of cool shells to find too - I have a big collection to showyou when I get back. For dinner we had a beachside picnic and roasted marshmallows for s'mores. I didn't want the day to end!The next few days were pretty much the same - wake up early, have breakfast, then head straight to the beach to spend the whole day there. We swam in the ocean, jumped over waves, and I even tried boogie boarding for the first time. It was hard to stand up on the board at first but once I got the hang of it, I was shredding waves like a pro surfer! Well, maybe not quite like a pro, but I was getting some good rides in. My arms were so tired by the end of the day from paddling though. One day we went fishing from the beach and I actually caught two fish! They were these weird looking ugly things but Dad said they were a kind of saltwater perch. We couldn't keep them since we didn't have a fishing license, but it was still awesome to reel them in. Another day we went on a long beach hike and saw so many beautiful sights - towering cliffs, seal colonies, even an abandoned shipwreck! We also found a cool tidepool area with little crabs, anemones, and starfish. I've never seen such bright colored starfish before. When we weren't on the beach, we did other fun activities around town. We rented bikes one day and rode along trails overlooking the ocean. The views were incredible! Another daywe went to the arcade and played videogames and won tons of tickets to get prizes. I got a cool new backpack with sharks on it. We also went mini golfing at a pirate-themed course and I made my first ever hole-in-one! I was doing my happy dance all over the place.Unfortunately, our beach vacation had to come to an end. On our last day, I tried to soak up as much sun, ocean air, and beach time as possible. I made the biggest sandcastle of the week and decorated it with shells and driftwood. Dad took a ton of pictures of me next to it. I already can't wait to go back to the beach again next year - maybe you and your family can join us!The drive home felt twice as long as the drive there. I kept dozing off and dreaming I was back playing in the waves. I have a million wonderful memories from this trip, so many that I could fill up pages telling you about them all. I'm already working on a beach shadow box with all of my treasures to remember it by. I hope you had an awesome Spring Break too and we can swap stories when I'm back! Miss you!Your friend,[Your name]。

英语作文出去游玩给朋友的一封信

英语作文出去游玩给朋友的一封信Dear Billy,I'm so excited to tell you all about the amazing trip I just went on with my family! We went to this really cool place called Adventureland and it was absolutely jam-packed with fun things to do. I can't wait to go back again someday! We left early on Saturday morning in our van. Mom packed a huge cooler full of sandwiches, chips, fruits, and drinks for the drive. Dad was in charge of the maps and getting us there. My little sister Katie couldn't stop asking "Are we there yet?" from the backseat every 5 minutes! I just ignored her and played games on my tablet to pass the time. After what felt like forever, we finally arrived at Adventureland! As soon as we got out of the van I could hear people screaming and laughing on all the rides. The smell of funnel cakes, popcorn, and hot dogs filled the air and made my stomach rumble. We got our tickets at the front gate and headed inside. The first thing we did was go on the biggest, craziest rollercoaster I've ever seen! It was bright blue with yellow tracks that looped and twisted in every direction. We had to wait in linefor almost an hour, but it was worth it. When we finally got to the front, the employee checking restraints gave me a wink and said "You're gonna wanna hold on tight for this one!"I wasn't scared at all though. I love big fast rides that go upside down! The coaster went shooting out of the station up a huge hill, then took a crazy 90 degree plunge straight down. We went so fast everything became a blur. My stomach felt like it was in my throat on all the loops and turns. Katie was screaming her head off the whole time! When we finally pulled back into the station my heart was racing like crazy. We had to go on it two more times before moving on to the next ride. After the rollercoaster, we walked around the park a bit and went on a few smaller rides to take a break from the big intense ones. The teacups were a lot of fun and made me really dizzy. I also went on the Tilt-a-Whirl twice because it's my favorite. We took a break to get some lunch at one of the restaurants. I had a huge cheeseburger, fries, and a milkshake. It was delicious but I probably shouldn't have eaten such a huge meal with all the spinning rides!Once I had some time to digest, we headed over to the carnival game area. My dad must have spent 20 trying to knock down those stupid milk bottles to win me a big stuffed animal. He finally gave up after about a million tries. I didn't care though, the fun was in watching him get more and more frustrated! We did the ring toss and balloon darts instead. Katie won a cute little teddy bear playing one of the games.Later on, we went to the section with all the water rides and got completely drenched! We must have rode the log flume river ride at least 4 times. Every time we'd come splashing down that huge drop at the end into the pool of water and get soaked from head to toe. One time Katie even fell out of the log and landed in the water! After that ride, we were dripping wet and freezing cold so we found a spot to lay our towels down and warm up in the sun for a bit.As night fell, the whole park lit up with thousands of twinkling lights and neon signs. It looked so magical and made me never want to leave! We went on the ferris wheel to see the whole park lit up. The view from the very top was breathtaking. You could see all of Adventureland and the city lights twinkling in the distance. We finished up the night by going on one last rollercoaster, the Mind Blaster. It didn't have any huge drops, but the number of loops, twists and turns made me so dizzy I could barely walk straight after getting off!We had to drag ourselves out of the park by the time it closed at 11pm. I was exhausted but still grinning from ear to ear from such an awesome day. I crashed in the backseat before we even hit the highway and slept the whole way home. When we finally got back around 1am, I could barely keep my eyes open long enough to brush my teeth before falling into my bed.I had so much fun and can't wait to start planning my next trip to Adventureland! Maybe you and your family can come with us next time. Just try not to lose your breakfast on the roller coasters like Katie did! I'll call you soon to tell you more stories from my big adventure.Your friend,Tommy。

出去游玩时给朋友的一封信英语作文

出去游玩时给朋友的一封信英语作文

出去游玩时给朋友的一封信英语作文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1Dear Jamie,How are you? I'm having such an awesome time on my family vacation! We drove up to Lake Tahoe last weekend and I've been having a blast. I can't wait to tell you all about it.The drive up here took forever - we were in the car for like 5 hours! Mom and Dad tried to keep me and my little brother entertained by playing road trip games and letting us watch movies on the iPad. But I still got pretty bored and antsy after a while. I just wanted to be there already! When we finally arrived at the lake, it was so beautiful. The water was this brilliant blue-green color and you could see all the way to the bottom. The air was cool and fresh and smelled like the pine trees all around. Our cabin is right on the lake shore so we have an amazing view. The first thing we did was go swimming! Well, Mom and Dad went swimming. The water was way too cold for me. It's fed by snowmelt from the Sierra Nevada mountains. I just waded in upto my knees but even that made me shiver. Maybe I'll get brave enough to go all the way in before we leave.Instead, I've spent a lot of time building sandcastles on the beach and skipping rocks. It's really satisfying to get a good skip going - my record so far is 8 skips! I even found a walking stick that's taller than me and I've been using it to poker for crawdads in the shallows. No luck catching any yet though. One day we rented a motorboat and Dad took us all out on the lake. We got to see the whole shoreline and some of the cool mansions that celebrities own up here. The wind whipped my hair every which way and I had a blast riding the wakes from other boats. Just have to hold on tight!Another highlight was going hiking in the forest. The trees are SO tall, like skyscrapers made of wood. And everything smells like pine and fresh air. We saw a deer pretty close-up which was amazing. I tried to sneak up and get a photo but it bounded away before I could. We also saw some wild turkeys which was random. Who knew they lived out here?In the evenings, we've been having campfires on the beach and roasting s'mores. There's nothing quite like a melty, gooey s'more fresh off the fire. One night we did a campfire sing-along with a guitar which was really fun. I don't know if my voicesounds good but I sang my heart out to classics like "Take Me Home, Country Roads."At night, there are more stars in the sky than I've ever seen. You can actually see the foggy band of the Milky Way arching across. It's breathtaking. One night we're hoping to see some meteor showers so we can make wishes on shooting stars.Tomorrow we're going to try our hand at fishing from the shore with rods and bait. Apparently there are trout and bass in this lake. If we catch anything, we're going to cook it up over the campfire for dinner! I'm not sure how I feel about eating a fishy I caught myself though. We'll see if I can go through with it.I really wish you were here to experience all this with me, Jamie. I'm having such an amazing time out in nature, away from the city and just being free. No school, no homework, no chores - just sun, swimming, hiking, and fun! This trip has been the highlight of my summer for sure. We're heading home in a couple days and I'm already feeling sad about leaving. I'm going to miss waking up to that incredible view of the mountains and lake. And sleeping in a cozy cabin listening to the water lapping at the shore. Not to mentions'mores for dessert every night!I can't wait to come back to school after break and share all my photos and stories with you. Maybe you can come with my family next time? Your dad loves fishing so I bet he'd have a blast here too.Well, that's all for now! I'm being called away for a hike. Talk to you soon!Your friend,[Your name]篇2Dear Tommy,Hi! How are you doing? I'm writing to tell you all about the awesome trip my family and I just went on. It was so much fun and I saw so many cool things! I can't wait to share every single detail with you.It all started last Saturday morning. My mom woke me up at 6am which is super early for the weekend. But I didn't even mind because I was so excited to get going on our adventure. We piled into the car with our suitcases and snacks and hit the road. The first couple hours of the drive were kind of boring to be honest. We just saw trees, trees, and more trees out the window. But then we stopped at this giant donut shop! It was in the shape of a massive donut. Can you believe that? We went inside and I got to have a chocolate sprinkle donut for breakfast. Mom said it was okay as a special treat. It was delicious! After that, the drive got much more exciting. We started seeing cool rock formations and colorful canyons out the window. The scenery looked like something from another planet. We stopped along the way a few times to take pictures and stretch our legs. I loved climbing up on the red rocky hills and looking out over the vast desert landscapes. So beautiful! Finally, after what felt like forever, we arrived at the national park we would be camping in for the next few days. The ranger at the gate gave us a map and some tips on the best hiking trails and activities. Our first stop was the visitor's center, which had all kinds of amazing exhibits about the wildlife, geology, and history of the park. I got to watch a movie on the biggest curved screen I've ever seen! It made me feel like I was actually there millions of years ago when volcanoes were erupting. So cool!Once we set up our tent in the campground, we immediately set off on our first hike. The trail followed along the edge of a deep canyon carved millions of years ago by a river. We had to go down steep switchbacks to reach the very bottom. The rockwalls towered hundreds of feet overhead on both sides of us. It was amazing but also a little scary! Whenever I looked up I felt so tiny.Along the way, we spotted lots of cute critters skittering about. There were chipmunks, lizards darting across the rocks, and even a tarantula hiding under a ledge! The ranger had told us to look out for wildlife, but I didn't expect to see anything quite that big and hairy. Though I stayed a safe distance away just in case.We also came across some ancient Native American cave paintings on the rock walls. They showed figures of people and animals from so long ago. I tried to imagine what life must have been like back then with no cars, no houses, and no video games! Just living off the land in that harsh desert environment. It seemed impossible to me, but those cave paintings proved that people had survived there for centuries. After a few miles of hiking, we finally reached the end of the trail where a gushing waterfall tumbled down into a sparkling turquoise pool. We all stripped off our shoes and went wading right in. The water was freezing cold but felt so refreshing after our long hot hike. I used my waterproof camera to take some funpictures as we splashed around and cooled off. That swimming hole was definitely the highlight of the day! When we finally hiked back to our campsite, we were absolutely exhausted. We roasted hot dogs and made s'mores over the campfire for dinner. As night fell, we gazed up at more stars than I ever knew existed. The sky was simply jam-packed with twinkling lights since there were no city lights for miles and miles. We spotted the Milky Way stretching across the whole panorama! I'd never seen anything like it.The next day we went on a different hike to see the biggest natural stone archway in the whole park. It's called Delicate Arch and let me tell you, it's not delicate at all! This gigantic freestanding arch is made of layers and layers of red sandstone compacted over millions and millions of years. Up close you can see all the tiny individual grains that make up the formation. It's crazy to think that something so big came to be from a bunch of little grains like that.We took the long hiking trail to get up close to the arch. From far away it looked small but as we got closer it just kept getting bigger and bigger until it was towering over us like a leaning skyscraper. Mom said the hike back would be slightly shorter but a lot steeper. And boy was she right! There were somany switchbacks that I felt like I was going around in circles. But it was worth it for that spectacular view from the top, staring right through the center of the enormous arch. Dad took about a million pictures of us posing underneath it. I bet those will be our Christmas card photos this year!On our final day, we did one last hike through a long skinny slot canyon. Now this one was scary for real! The trail took us straight into a deep gash in the ground that was no wider than a sidewalk but lined by towering sheer cliff walls on both sides. At some points we had to turn sideways just to squeeze through. And at other parts we had to climb up ladders bolted into the sheer rock walls to continue on. I gripped the chains super tight and tried my hardest not to look down because it was so high up. We saw some ancient writing etched into the rocks and even some petrified animal bones that were thousands of years old!The most thrilling part was when we came to a spot where we had to stem across. Do you know what stemming is? Basically you have to put your arms and legs spread out against both walls and shimmy across sideways. It's called stemming becauseyou're using your whole body like a stem! I got to go first to test it out since I'm the smallest. I inched my way across, focusing hard to keep my balance. I won't lie, I was pretty scared! But Ialso felt like a real rock climber or caver which was awesome. The rest of my family followed me across one by one. We all made it safely and I felt so proud of myself for being brave! After that little adrenaline rush, we reached the end of the slot canyon and headed back to the car. I was sad for our desert camping adventures to be over but so happy to have experienced all those amazing sights. I took hundreds of pictures and have so many unbelievable memories that I'll never forget. I feel like I'm still processing everything we did and saw. It was all just so epic!Well Tommy, I could ramble on and on about this trip forever, but I'd better wrap this letter up now. I just wanted to give you a taste of the incredible time we had. Next time you come over, I'll definitely have to show you all my photos and videos! Maybe your family can join us on a camping trip sometime too. Wouldn't that be fun?Anyway, write back soon and tell me if you've ever been on any outdoorsy adventures like this!Talk to you later,Your friend,[Your name]篇3Dear Jack,I'm writing to tell you all about the amazing trip I just went on with my family! We went to the beach for a whole week and it was so much fun. I have so many cool stories to share with you.We left really early in the morning to drive to the beach. It took forever - we were in the car for almost 5 hours! I tried my best to entertain myself by looking out the window, playing road games with my little brother, and reading books and comics. But by the end I was going a little stir crazy being stuck in the car for that long. Finally we arrived and I was sooo excited! As soon as we got to the beach house, I raced upstairs to claim the best bedroom. I got the one with the big window looking out over the ocean. The view was incredible! I could see the bright blue water stretching out as far as I could see, with waves crashing against the sandy shore. I knew I was going to spend a lot of time on that beach. After unpacking, we immediately went down to check out the beach. The sand was warm between my toes and the salty ocean air smelled amazing. I kicked off my sandals and ran straight into the water. It was a little cold at first but I got used toit pretty quickly. We spent the whole afternoon swimming, building sandcastles, and looking for seashells. I found a huge sand dollar that was perfectly intact! I also saw a little crab scrambling along the shore which was neat. That first night, we had a beachside bonfire and roasteds'mores. I had never done that before so it was really special. We sang silly camp songs and watched the sun go down over the horizon, painting the sky in vibrant oranges and pinks. Afterwards, we went back inside and I showered off all the sand and saltwater before going to bed. I could hear the soothing sound of the ocean waves from my bedroom window and it lulled me to sleep. The next day was just as fun-filled as the first. We woke up early to watch the sunrise over the ocean. The colors were so brilliant and beautiful. We had a big breakfast of pancakes and bacon, then headed back to the beach. This time we explored the rocky tidal pools along the shoreline. I saw so many cool ocean creatures like starfish, sea anemones, and little shrimp-like things darting around. My brother almost stepped on a family of tiny crabs before I stopped him just in time!We also went on a boat tour to look for whales and dolphins. The boat rocked up and down over the waves and the salty sprayfelt refreshing on my face. We were lucky enough to see a huge pod of dolphins swimming and jumping alongside the boat! They were so graceful and playful. We didn't end up seeing any whales, but just seeing the dolphins made the whole boat trip worthwhile. In the afternoons, we usually just relaxed on the beach under a big umbrella and read books, played games, or dozed off to the sound of the waves. I got a little sunburned the first couple days because I didn't put on enough sunscreen. Oops! I was much better about applying it regularly after that. We also spent a lot of time in the ocean swimming, bodyboarding, and jumping over the waves. The currents were pretty strong some days so we had to be careful, but it was a blast! One of my favorite parts of the trip was going to the boardwalk and playing all the games and riding the roller coasters at the little amusement park there. We went at night when all the neon lights were on and it looked so vibrant and exciting. I won a huge stuffed shark at the ring toss game to take home as a souvenir. We also got cotton candy, caramel apples, and other fun snacks that we aren't usually allowed at home. I felt a little sick after eating so many sweets but it was totally worth it!On the last day, we had a relaxing morning at the beach doing some last swimming and shell collecting. I found a perfect sand dollar and some beautiful iridescent shells that I carefully packed up to take home with me. In the afternoon we had to pack up all our stuff and load it into the car for the long drive back. I was really sad for our beach vacation to be over! But I took one last long look at the sparkling blue ocean before we left, trying to etch the memories into my mind forever. The car ride home was a lot quieter than the ride there. We were all a little sunburned, tired, and maybe even a tiny bit homesick towards the end. But I had had such an amazing time that I couldn't stop smiling. I spent most of the ride home looking at picture I had taken and videos of the whales and dolphins, and daydreaming about all the fun we had had. I can't wait to go back again next summer!Well, that's the full recap of my awesome beach vacation. I wish you could have come along too - I'm sure you would have loved it as much as I did. I haven't even showed you all my seashells and photos yet! I'll bring them to school so you can see.I already can't wait to go on another big trip and have a new adventure. Maybe you can join next time!Your friend,[Your name]。

Here's a brief overview of what I have in mind:Destination 1: Kyoto, Japan- Duration: 5 days- Highlights: Exploring traditional temples, experiencing a tea ceremony, and enjoying the local cuisine.- Activities: We could visit the Fushimi Inari Shrine, take a walk through the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, and maybe even participate in a cooking class to learn how to make sushi.Destination 2: Santorini, Greece- Duration: 7 days- Highlights: Relaxing by the Aegean Sea, visiting ancient ruins, and indulging in Greek cuisine.- Activities: We could spend our days lounging on the famousblack sand beaches, exploring the archaeological site of Akrotiri, and dining at the best seafood tavernas.Destination 3: Banff, Canada- Duration: 10 days- Highlights: Hiking in the Canadian Rockies, wildlife spotting, and experiencing the natural hot springs.- Activities: I've heard that the hiking trails around Lake Louise and Moraine Lake are breathtaking. We could also plan a day trip to the Columbia Icefield.I've also considered the best times to travel to each place, taking into account the weather and local events that might be happening. I've attached a rough itinerary for each destination, including estimated costs and a list of must-see places. Please let me know what you think about these options. I'm open to any suggestions or changes you might have. I believe that traveling with a friend makes the experience even more memorable, and I can't wait to create new memories with you.Feel free to give me a call or drop me an email with your thoughts. I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon.Safe travels and happy planning!Warm regards,[Your Name]。
