英语作文读后感
Reader response
¡¡¡¡One point that the author claimed in the article, Engineering
Education, stimulates my interest.
¡¡¡¡This sentence is 'there is certainly nothing wrong with students
enjoying the race, but it is unfortunate indeed if the pedagogical
opportunity is missed to introduce the joys of design and to inform
students that they are engaging in engineering, something that they
might spend their lives enjoying, if only they take enough math and
science to satisfy admission requirements for an engineering school.'
I absolutely agree with the author. In the author's opinion, we must
take enough math and science before we learn real knowledge of
engineering, in addition, it's necessary to develop children's joys
of design which can augment children's consciousness of innovation and
make children like the engineering.
¡¡¡¡In China, the pedagogical opportunity has already been missed.
First of all, our children get enough or even excessive math and science
when they are so young. The knowledge they learned is harder than they
should learned at their age. Children face huge pressure, so they always
feel tired and will hardly love their engineering which is learned in
the future.
¡¡¡¡ In addition, the purpose of learning in China is to meet the test,
and almost in everybody's opinion, more scores you have got, more success
you will achieve in the future. So the teachers and the parents put
their emphasis on how many scores their children get rather than which
subjects their children like or cultivate their interests in
engineering they will learn in the future. Children's consciousness
of innovation has been killed.
¡¡¡¡I think our government should change the existing mode of education,
it's important to cultivate their interests before they learn the
necessary math and science.
英语作文井底之蛙寓言故事读后感
英语作文井底之蛙寓言故事读后感Reflections on the Fable of "The Frog at the Bottom of the Well"The fable of "The Frog at the Bottom of the Well" is a timeless tale that carries profound lessons about perception,局限性, and the importance of broadening one's horizons. This story, although simple in its narrative, packs a powerful punch, reminding us of the dangers of being overly complacent and satisfied with our limited knowledge and experiences. The story revolves around a frog who lives at the bottom of a well, unaware of the vast world that lies beyond its cramped surroundings. To the frog, the well is the entire universe, and it views the small patch of sky visible through the well's mouth as the entirety of the heavens. When a sea turtle passes by and describes the vastness of the ocean to the frog, the frog refuses to believe it, content with its cozy existence at the bottomof the well. This fable resonates deeply with me because it speaks to the human tendency to become complacent and satisfied with what we know, often without realizing the vast expanse of knowledge and experiences that lie beyond our immediate grasp. We can easily fall into the trap of thinking that our perspective is the only valid one, that our way of life is the best way, and that there is no need to explore or question our beliefs and assumptions. The frog's refusal to believe the sea turtle's description of the ocean highlights the dangers of such a mindset. It reminds us that our局限性 can blind us to the true nature of the world and prevent us from growing and evolving as individuals. If we allow ourselves to become too comfortable within our own little bubbles, we miss out on the opportunities to learn, explore, and broaden our horizons. The lesson here is clear: we must always strive to expand our knowledge and understanding of the world. Weshould question our assumptions, challenge our beliefs, and seek out new experiences that push the boundaries of our comfort zones. Only by doing so can we truly appreciate the vastness and complexity of the world we live in and grow as individuals.Furthermore, this fable also teaches us about the importance of maintaining an open mind. The frog's closed-mindedness prevents it from seeing the truth, even when itis presented to it by someone who has experienced the world beyond its limited视野. This reminds us that we should always be willing to listen to other viewpoints, even if they challenge our own beliefs and assumptions. By doing so, we open ourselves to new ideas and perspectives that can help us grow and develop as individuals. In conclusion, the fable of "The Frog at the Bottom of the Well" is a powerful reminder of the dangers of complacency and局限性. It encourages us to broaden our horizons, question our assumptions, and maintain an open mind in order to fully appreciate the vast and complexworld we live in. By doing so, we can grow as individuals and expand our understanding of the world around us.。

Written in the 16th century, it tells the epic tale of the Buddhist monk Xuanzang and his brave disciples whoembark on an incredibly difficult journey from China to India to obtain sacred scriptures. While on the surface it may seem like a simple adventure story, the deeper meaning explores important life lessons, especially the virtue of perseverance in the face of adversity. The story begins with Xuanzang, who is determined to make the long and perilous trek to India to bring Buddhist teachings back to China. He is joined by three powerful supernatural protectors - Monkey King, Pigsy, and Sandy - who aid him on his quest. From the start, they are confronted with almost insurmountable challenges at every turn. Ferocious monsters, evil spirits, and other demonic forces relentlessly try to stop them through trickery, violence, and magic. However, no matter how bleak the situation becomes, the monk and his disciples find the inner strength to carry on and never abandon their mission. Monkey King, who was once arrogant and unruly, comes to respect Xuanzang's noble cause and courageously battles each new threat. Pigsy and Sandy, former monsters themselves, remain loyal and put their formidable powers to use protecting the monk. And Xuanzang, though physically weak, demonstrates remarkable determination, persevering through every hardship on the journey.Over the course of their 14-year expedition, they are imprisoned, attacked by supernatural beasts, trapped by evil demons, and even face death on multiple occasions. Yet each time, through a combination of bravery, quick-thinking, faith, and teamwork, they find a way to escape the direst of circumstances. Xuanzang's pure mind and determination to spread the Buddhist teachings prove unshakable no matter what stands in his way.In the end, after overcoming obstacle after obstacle, they finally make it to India and obtain the scriptures, completing their long, arduous journey. The story demonstrates that with perseverance, even seemingly impossible goals can be achieved. It inspires the reader to develop the same mindset - to never give up on their own dreams and push forward, even when the road becomes rocky.Journey to the West has endured as a classic for so long because of the timeless lessons it teaches about perseverance, courage, loyalty and faith. By showing ordinary humans facing extraordinary trials yet still prevailing through sheer determination, it motivates us to adopt that same resilient spirit. The book convincingly makes the case that no matter how daunting the challenge, clinging to one's convictions and neverabandoning the journey is the only way to eventually reach your destination.篇2A Student's Reflection on Perseverance in "Journey to the West""A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." This ancient Chinese proverb resonates deeply with the epic tale of "Journey to the West." The story follows the adventurous pilgrimage of the Buddhist monk Xuanzang and his three disciples, Monkey King, Pigsy, and Sandy, as they battle demons, overcome obstacles, and ultimately persevere in their quest to obtain sacred scriptures from India. From the very beginning, the travelers faced daunting challenges that would have deterred even the bravest of souls. Monkey King's initial rebellion against the heavens and subsequent imprisonment under a mountain for five hundred years set the tone for the arduous journey ahead. Yet, his unwavering determination to be free and his loyalty to Xuanzang's cause fueled his perseverance, allowing him to triumph over his confinement. As the journey progressed, the pilgrims encountered countless perils, from treacherous terrains and vicious monsters to their own inner demons of doubt and fear. Each challenge served as a test of their resilience, pushing them to their limits both physically and mentally. However, it was their collective perseverance and unwavering commitment to their mission that propelled them forward, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds.Xuanzang himself embodied the virtue of perseverance, displaying an unwavering faith in his beliefs and an indomitable spirit that refused to be broken by the trials and tribulations of the journey. His steadfast determination inspired his disciples to persist, even when the path seemed impossible to navigate. The story's portrayal of perseverance extends beyond the physical realm, delving into the spiritual and emotional aspects of the characters' lives. Pigsy's transformation from a gluttonous and hedonistic being to a loyal companion is a testament to the power of perseverance in overcoming personal flaws and inner demons. Similarly, Sandy's unwavering devotion to the pilgrimage, despite his initial reluctance, highlights the ability to persevere through self-doubt and uncertainty. As I reflect on "Journey to the West," I am struck by the enduring relevance of its message. In our own lives, we often encounter obstacles, setbacks, and challenges that test our determination and resolve. It is in these moments that the lessons of perseverance from this epic tale become invaluable. Whether we are striving to achieve academic excellence, pursuing personal growth, or navigating the complexities of relationships, the ability to persevere in the face of adversity is a crucial ingredient for success. The journey of Xuanzang and his companions serves as a powerful reminder that perseverance is not merely a trait, but a choice – a conscious decision to push forward, no matter the obstacles. It is a choice that requires courage, resilience, and an unwavering belief in oneself and one's goals. By embracing the spirit of perseverance exemplified in "Journey to the West," we too can overcome the challenges that life throws our way and ultimately reach our desired destination, just as the pilgrims did in their quest for sacred scriptures.篇3A Student's Reflections: The Timeless Value of Perseverance in "Journey to the West"Ever since I first cracked open the pages of the literary classic "Journey to the West", I've found myself utterly captivated by the extraordinary tale of the Buddhist monk Xuanzang and his iconic companions – the mischievous Monkey King Sun Wukong, the kind-hearted Pigsy, and the formidable river monster Sandy. Their perilous pilgrimage to India in search of sacred scriptures isn't merely an enthralling adventure; it's a profound allegory that underscores the immense power of perseverance in the face of adversity. The odyssey that unfolds is nothing short of epic, replete with larger-than-life challenges and formidable foes at every turn. From treacherous landscapes to malicious demons and monsters, the quartet's path is fraught with obstacles that would make even the most steadfast among us falter. Yet, through it all, they soldier on, their unwavering determination to reach the ultimate goal a shining beacon that guides them through the darkest of trials. What resonates most profoundly with me is the sheer tenacity exhibited by these unlikely heroes, each representing a facet of the human spirit that refuses to yield to despair. The Monkey King's unbreakable will and fierce loyalty, Pigsy's humble resilience, and Sandy's noble fortitude coalesce into anunshakable force that propels them ever forward, even when the journey seems utterly hopeless. As I turned the pages, I found myself drawing parallels between their arduous trek and the challenges we face in our own lives. Whether grappling with academic pressures, navigating complex relationships, or striving to achieve our dreams, the message rings clear: perseverance is the key that unlocks the gate to success. Just as our pilgrims persisted through trials that would have broken lesser souls, so too must we summon the courage to endure, to pick ourselves up after every setback, and to forge ahead with an unwavering spirit.Yet, perseverance alone is not enough; it must be tempered with wisdom, compassion, and a deep reverence for the journey itself. The novel's profound spiritual undertones remind us that the true reward lies not merely in reaching our destination, but in the growth and wisdom we accrue along the way. Each obstacle, every hardship, is an opportunity to cultivate our inner strength, to refine our character, and to emerge as better versions of ourselves. As I reflect on the timeless lessons imparted by "Journey to the West", I am filled with a renewed sense of determination to embrace life's challenges head-on. Though the path may befraught with peril, I know that by embodying the indomitable spirit of the Monkey King, the humble resilience of Pigsy, and the noble fortitude of Sandy, I can conquer any obstacle that stands in my way. For in the end, it is not the destination that defines us, but the journey itself – a journey that demands nothing less than our unwavering perseverance.。

Happiness is kinship, friendship, health, labor and peace of mind. Having it, people just feel normal. But when losting it, people perhaps will find that it can not be replaced by anything in the world! Ordinary is great!Every night before going to sleep, I want to carry it to read, lying in the bed, holding it in my hand until falling asleep. The book is still next to me when I wake up the next moring. This is what I want. This is the first book I love so much to read, because I like to look into the past from the childhood, I can find my own shadow, my own growth process. In the book, I can forget the sadness as a child can put it all behind. This book was written by the United States LouisaMayAlcott. This book can be regarded as a family biography to read, but it is not about the adults struggle but the growth of the children, telling them how to become mature from a naive, from vulnerable to suffering, from urgent to patient, from self to others. The book is a lively splash everywhere, the young mans innocence, purity, courage and vision for the future. They are really impressive. They four characters were completely different. Meg was16, Jo was15, Beth was14 , Amy was12. Meg was beautiful, attractive. And she envied dress. She did tuloring to help the family. Joe had a eautiful hair, and she was always running around in circles and had a strong personality.Though she often maked things worse, had a bad temper and did something like a boy,she was sincere. She loved writing and she helped family by doing nursing.Beth, loved by most people, was very cute and shy.She was very quiet and never be angry. There was no wonder that we all call her little baby. She liked to curl up in her own happy world. And only when she met people she trust in,she would be pulled out timid.Se was very sympathetic to the dolls, and she treated them as small baby by helping them make up new clothes. At the same time, she loved playing the piano. She was very easy to satisfy.Amy, was the smallest among their four, looked like a young lady. She wanted o be an artist and become the worlds greatest master. Lawrence was 16 years old.he lost his parent when he was a little boy.He was brought up by his grandfather. Not willing to lost his grandson,Mr Lawrence avoided him doing a lot of things he want to do.So he lived a sad and unhappy life with his grangfather and were not on good terms with each other before he knew those four girls. He had a lot of money, however,he did not show it off.He was very enthusiastic and he became a sunny boy. Mrs Marchi was a wise mother. She allowed her children to experience through the joys and sorrows of life and hoped her children to experience their lives instead of copy the history of generation. She hoped her children would be beautiful, talented, kind, loved and respected by the people. She would encourage children. She loved their country. To their motherland ,she encouraged her husband to the war and never regreted it.She had been learning how to set an example to the children. At first, every little girl had their share of vanity. However, after going through a lot, they gradually growed. They understand what is true happiness. Each of them had their own castles in the air and their little aspirration. In their view, family was their place of growth and refuge. They would listen carefully to their mother, would use their skillful hands and clever brain to creat the beauty of life and would beautify their soul. Some people said, four sisters growing up was like a richest interesting educating poem. The author used normal language to show us the great humam family, friendship and love.In the eyes of four sisters, the happiest thing was they could live with those who they loved forever.Indeed,In my opinion, this is also my greatest happiness. They were very hard woking and they helped the home to support the family by doing various things. They were busy but they did not lack of the luster of life.Once each of them had been lost, regreted, and puzzled, but anyway, they grew up.They wereinnocent and had no bad opinions. After experiencing a series of trials and life to death, they gradually said goodbye to their childish and became mature. They helped each other ,loved each other, and became a group of little women who could stir up the burdens of life. Their smile is in my mind, remembering me to be strong,to have a pure heart. They also tell us how to deal with family relationship. From them,I think I have to learn to be strong, learn how to be content and learn how to cherish what we have.Do not undershand their valuable after we lose them.We should treat others sincerely and regard every parting as forever parting.Just as the saying goes,do not cry for the past meteors,or you will miss the others. We should be careful to find others advantages. We should have hopes to the future and set our own goals and then strive to reach them.Allow ourselves to be an independent, strong and motivated people.Just be a real little woman!小妇人读后感英文版篇3Little Women is a novel published in 1868 and written by American author Louisa May Alcott. The story concerns the lives and loves of four sisters growing up during the American Civil War. It was based on Alcotts own experiences as a child inConcord, Massachusetts with her three sisters, Anna, May, and Elizabeth. Little Women is the story of The Marches, a family used to hard toil and suffering. Although Father March is away with the Union armies, the sisters Meg, Jo, Amy and Beth keep in high spirits with their mother, affectionately named Marmee. Their friendly gift of a Christmas holiday breakfast to a neighbouring family is an act of generosity rewarded with wealthy Mr. Laurences gift of a surprise Christmas feast. However, despite their efforts to be good, the girls show faults: the pretty Meg becomes discontented with the children she teaches; boyish Jo loses her temper regularly; while the golden-haired schoolgirl Amy is inclined towards affectation. However, Beth, who keeps the house is always kind and gentle. After certain happy times winning over the Laurences, dark times arrive as Marmee finds out about her husbands illness. Worse is to come as Beth contracts scarlet fever in her Samaritan efforts for a sick neighbour and becomes more or lean invalid. The novel tells of their progreinto young womanhood with the additional strains of romance, Beths terminal illness, the pressures of marriage and the outside world. This is the story of their growing maturity and wisdom and the search for the contentedneof family life. It was writtenin 1867 and is a fictionalised biography of Alcott and her sisters. It has become a much loved classic tale and, while some of its issues seem outdated, many of the trials of the sisters are all too relevant today as evidenced by its continued following.小妇人读后感英文版篇4Little Woman was written by American female writer Alcott. After reading this novel, I have some opinions about these four women. The novel described four sisters in the March family; they were kind to each other and love each other, hardworking, stayed with neighbor Laurence friendly. Different disposition girls had found their own happy through their own goodness and industrious. The novel has not a fluctuation plot and fascinating suspension in a play, but the author described the happiness in March family with the simple language. Their good and kind, loyalty to love and family has left me a deep impression. The author only described very ordinary detail in the life, but reveals the love to the happy life expectation everywhere.Although these girls born in a poor family, but they all had the positive attitude to any matter, the novel had laidemphasis on their individuality and the dignity, but also has displayed their self-expression restraint. Independently was these four girlss common characteristic, they always keep discovering their own shortcoming and correct it as soon as possible which worth our learning. Look we, some people always make mistakes, but they always think that it is a small mistake; they dont need to notice it, let it go. If every one like them, the society will become very awful, no rule can limit peoples behaviors, they can do anything they like. These four girls are very different, let me introduce them, Meg, the eldest of the four, was sixteen, and very pretty, being plump and fair, with large eyes, plenty of soft, brown hair, a sweet mouth, and white hands, of which she was rather vain. Fifteen-year-old Jo was very tall, thin, and brown, and reminded one of a colt, for she never seemed to know what to do with her long limbs, which were very much in her way. She had a decided mouth, a comical nose, and sharp, gray eyes, which appeared to see everything, and was by turns fierce, funny, or thoughtful. Her long, thick hair was her one beauty, but it was usually bundled into a net, to be out of her way. Round shoulders had Jo, big hands and feet, a flyaway look to her clothes, and the uncomfortable appearance of a girl whowas rapidly shooting up into a woman and didnt like it. Beth, as everyone called her was a rosy, smooth-haired, bright-eyed girl of thirteen, with a shy manner, a timid voice, and a peaceful expression which was seldom disturbed. Her father called her Little Tranquility, and the name suited her excellently, for she seemed to live in a happy world of her own, only venturing out to meet the few whom she trusted and loved. Amy, though the youngest, was a most important person in her own opinion at least. A regular snow maiden, with blue eyes, and yellow hair curling on her shoulders, pale and slender, and always carrying herself like a young lady mindful of her manners. What the characters of the four sisters were we will leave to be found out.I love Meg for her being glad to impoverish for love, not enticed by the money. She did family teacher to help the family. I love Jo for her free and easy, likes her for the steadfast determination which she struggles for dream. She earns living expenses with aunt March and writes articles for the newspaper to gain the payment to increase the daily necessities to the family. I love Beth for her tranquil characteristic, doing anything without any complain. Like her good personal character which always considers for others, she loves music and feels shy with strangers, so she always does some housework with her mother at home. I also love Amy for her strong desire; she regard supporting the poor people as her own faith. She was interested in sketch. Though their idea and the destiny are various, they had all found their own love.In their eyes, the family was not only the place of growth but also the holy refuge. They liked to hear their mothers instruction carefully; they created games by their clever brain and hands which can beautify the mind. Four sisters growth courses were as if an interest education poem. The author had shown us the humanitys great dear ones such as friendship and love with ordinary language. In my opinion, it will be the happiest matter if these four sisters can live with those who they love. They are all good person, if I can live with them, I think my left will become rich and colorful. An old saying said that three women can play a performance, woman always have their own idea, if the idea has formed, and almost no one can change it. When women meet, if one talks her opinion about something, another one will give her opinion to the first one, then the argument will take place, lets imagine, there were four women in one family, though they are sister, argument cant avoid, it will be very interesting in the home. From the novel, I have learned that we should keep hope for future and make great efforts to seek dream. I also have learned to cherish what you have had such as your parents, time and so on ,we should discover everyones merit but to take the colored eye to see others shortcoming.Remember, whatever your goal is, you will get it if you are willing to do!小妇人读后感英文版篇5In Little Women, you will meet the March sisters, Meg, Jo, Beth Laurie who quickly find a place as part of the March family. The second half of the novel, focuses on the girls as they leave their childhood and begin their journey into adult life. Lessons of friendship, family, and love are covered as we join the characters through the ups and downs of life, good times and bad. It seems that Louisa May Alcott used her own family as the basis for the stories in Little Women, basing the character Jo on herself. It is amazing how though the book was written in the late 1800s, so many things about humans remain the same. The foundations of life that are important infriendships, family t change through time, as Alcott has shared with us. This is a book that young and old can read and appreciate.。
