On the contrary, we can also say that Hamlet is rude and selfish for he did not think twice before his revenge . if (Capitalize "If" since it is the beginning word of the sentence.)a country has no king, how can a country keep alive (You need a question mark here since it is a question.) So, every thing has two sides, the bright side and adumbral side. Every time we make a decision we have to think twice.Comment:Be careful with your spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Too many uncessary mistakes. It is good that you looked at both the dark and bright sides of Hamlet. Thats quite objective and convincing.英语作文读后感篇2Today, I read the "beauty and the beast" of this fairy tale, was touched. The story is once upon a time there was a prince, he neither kind and lack of compassion. His mother has been dessccrriibbeedd as neurotic and his father as a man who sought relief from his wife in the arms of other women. Perhaps the collapse of his parents' marriage engendered de Maupassant's pessimism, reflected particularly in his stories about infidelity and failed relationships. It certainly influenced his own attitude toward women, which, in turn, affected his creation of characters in stories such as "The Necklace." Events in History at the Time of the short story. The purpose of women. De Maupassant's attitude toward women was ambivalent. He was one of few nineteenth-century authors to recognize and celebrate women's sensuality rather than regard it as a sign of corruption. He was also, however, devastatingly cruel to women, whether in his own life or in his fiction. He recommended that the French Academy commission a treatise on how to "break decently, properly, politely, without noise, scene or violence, with a woman who adores you and with whom you are fed up" (de Maupassant in Steegmuller, p. 178),He scoffed at monogamy, insisting that he could not understand how two women could not be better than one, three better than two, and tenbetter than three.。

This literary gem, penned by a renowned author, unraveled the tapestry of our nation's history, culture, and the unwavering spirit of its people. My name is Lily and I'm 8 years old. I just read this really cool book called "Me and My Country" by Xiao Hong. It's all about a little girl named Xiao Hong who learns about the history and culture of China. At first I thought it might be kind of boring, but it was actually really fun and interesting! The book starts off with Xiao Hong's grandpa telling her about ancient China and all the dynasties that ruled like the Shang, Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang. He explains how China was one of the first civilizations to develop writing, the compass, paper making and printing. Xiao Hong thinks it's so neat that the ancient Chinese were such great inventors! Then her grandpa tells her about more recent history, like the Opium Wars when mean foreign countries tried to get China addicted to opium. And the Boxer Rebellion when some Chinese fought against the foreigners. Xiao Hong gets really mad at the unfair treatment of China. Her grandpa says she has a"nation-protecting heart" like the brave revolutionaries who helped overthrow the last dynasty.Next, Xiao Hong learns about the founding of modern China under the Communist Party. Her grandpa describes all the challenges China faced from foreign invasions and civil war. But finally in 1949, the People's Republic was established under Chairman Mao's leadership. Xiao Hong thinks Mao and the revolutionaries were so tough and persistent! After that is my favorite part - when Xiao Hong's grandpa talks about all the amazing progress China has made in recent decades. How the economy has grown so rapidly. How hundreds of millions have been lifted out of poverty. How China has become a major world power again. Xiao Hong feels so proud of her great motherland! At the end, Xiao Hong decides she wants to contribute to her country's future too when she grows up. Just like the ancient innovators, the anti-imperialist fighters, and the Communist revolutionaries! The book really inspired me to learn more about China's history and culture. I want to pass on that knowledge and patriotic spirit to future generations.Overall, I give "Me and My Country" 5 out of 5 stars! It taught me so much in a fun way. I feel like I have a much betterunderstanding and appreciation for my amazing homeland now. I'm so fortunate to be Chinese! Every kid should read this book to build their national pride and cultural confidence. I can't wait to learn more!篇3Me and My Country - A Little Kid's Big ThoughtsI just finished reading this really awesome book called "Me and My Country" and it totally blew my mind! It's all about China and how amazing and incredible it is. I learned so many fascinating things that I never knew before.First of all, did you know that China is like...HUGE? It's the third biggest country in the whole world! And it has the most people too - over 1.4 billion! That's like a bajillion people crammed into one place. Just trying to picture that many humans makes my head spin. No wonder everything in China seems so crowded and busy all the time. But what really struck me about the book is how diverse and unique China is. It's not just one monotonous, uniform place. Nope, it's a massive nation filled with deserts, mountains, forests, rivers, and coastlines. Some parts are freezing cold while others are blazing hot. The landscapes and geography shift dramaticallyas you go from region to region. It's like getting dozen of countries packed into one! Then there are the ethnic minorities - 55 of them! Each has their own language, customs, food, clothing, and way of life. The book showed pictures of all these different groups' traditional dress and I was mesmerized by how colorful and intricate the outfits were. From the Mongols to the Tibetans to the Uyghurs, each minority has centuries of rich heritage. I had no clue China contained such a kaleidoscope of cultures all co-existing together. It's a total rainbow nation!Speaking of rainbows, the book also opened my eyes to China's unbelievable number of plant and animal species. Panda bears, of course, are the obvious celebrity creatures. But did you know China also has golden monkeys, red pandas, andsnub-nosed monkeys? How cool are those names?! Plus, there are mysterious creatures like the Chinese unicorn, Chinese phoenix, and Chinese dragon. Those just sound like things plucked straight out of storybooks and fantasies! On the plant side, China's forests teem with ginkgo, camphor, and metasequoia trees - some of the oldest species on Earth dating back millions of years. China really does seem like a living history museum when you learn about these ancient lifeforms that still survive there today. Not to mention the bamboo, which is kind of China's signature plant. I had no clue there were over 500 different bamboo varieties! That's one extremely versatile grass. Then there are all the human-made wonders of China that left me awestruck - the Forbidden City, Terracotta Warriors, Great Wall, Grand Canal. So much mind-blowing architecture, art, and engineering from Chinese civilizations going back thousands of years. I could spend a lifetime trying to appreciate it all and still not scratch the surface! The book shared these incredible bird's eye view pictures that gave me a whole new perspective on the size and scale of these human marvels.I also loved learning about Chinese characters and what those fascinating scripts symbolize about the culture's values and principles. For example, did you know the character for "country" incorporates symbols for "boundary" and "family"? Deep down, it reflects this idea that China is one big family fiercely protecting its borders. That's such a unifying, empowering vision for a nation to rally around!Overall, reading "Me and My Country" filled me with immense pride for the land I call home. China feels even more vibrant, boundless, and extraordinary after absorbed all thosefacts and images. It's like someone switched on thehigh-definition version of China in my mind's eye.I realize I'm still just a little kid who has barely scratched the surface of his own country. But this book opened doors for me to start peeking behind the curtain at China's epic scale, diversity, history, and majesty. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life exploring the infinite wonders and marvels my nation holds. After reading this book, I know there's no other place I'd rather be from than this amazingly unique treasure trove called China. I'm proud to be Chinese!篇4My Love for My Homeland - A Reflection on "Me and My Country"I recently read the book "Me and My Country" by famous author Xiao Hong, and it really made me think a lot about my feelings towards China, my beloved homeland. Even though I'm just a college student and still have so much to learn, this book helped me appreciate my country in a whole new way.The book is all about Xiao Hong's deep love and appreciation for China, which she expresses through beautiful descriptions of the landscapes, culture, and most importantly, the resilient and hard-working people. As I read her vivid depictions of the Yellow River's might, the rugged mountains, and the vast fields of crops, I felt proud to call such a majestic land my home. But it wasn't just the natural scenery that moved me. Xiao Hong has a special talent for bringing the Chinese people to life through her writing. She talks about farmers toiling endlessly in the fields to feed their families, laborers building grand projects with their calloused hands, and mothers sacrificing everything to give their children a better life. Reading their stories of struggle, perseverance, and hope in the face of hardship stirred something deep inside me.I realized that China's greatest treasure isn't its natural resources or ancient monuments, but rather the indomitable spirit of its people. We are a nation that has endured famine, war, and turmoil again and again, yet we always pick ourselves up, rebuild, and charge forward with resolute determination. This fighting spirit is woven into the fabric of our culture and has kept us going for thousands of years. At the same time, I was struck by the rich tapestry of traditions that binds us all together as one people. The book opened my eyes to the diverse customs, festivals, arts, andcuisines that make every corner of China so vibrantly unique. From the raucous dragon dances of the south to the haunting melodies of Xinjiang's muqam singers, every region has its own living legacy to cherish and uphold. As I turned the final pages, I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude and responsibility. China has given me so much - a cultural identity to take pride in, timeless values to live by, and the freedom to pursue my dreams. In return, I want to contribute something back to this great nation, just as those before me have done.Maybe I'll become an entrepreneur and create jobs to drive our economic progress. Maybe I'll join the civil service and help build policies for an even stronger China. Or maybe I'll become a teacher and inspire the next generation to love our country as much as I do. Whatever path I choose, I now know that a little piece of me will always belong to China."Me and My Country" was a powerful reminder that I am deeply intertwined with the ancient yet forward-looking soul of this land. Just as Xiao Hong felt such profound adoration, I too am brimming with love, gratitude, and unwavering loyalty to my one and only homeland. Thank you, China, for making me who Iam today. I will always strive to be a worthy son or daughter that you can be proud of.篇5My Book Report on "Me and My Country"Hi! My name is Emma and I'm in 4th grade. For my latest book report, I read the book "Me and My Country" by Zhu Deyong. It's a really interesting and inspiring book all about China's history and culture. I learned so much! The book starts by talking about the author's own childhood growing up in a small village during the 1960s. He describes playing outside, helping his parents on their farm, and going to a little one-room schoolhouse. Even though they didn't have a lot of money or fancy toys back then, he says he had a really happy childhood surrounded by family, nature, and traditions. Then the book goes through the major periods of Chinese history like ancient dynasties, the cultural revolution, economic reforms in the 1980s, and China becoming a world superpower today. But instead of just listing dates and facts, the author shows these periods through stories of regular people's lives. There are tales of warriors, poets, farmers, factory workers, entrepreneurs, athletes, and many others whose lives were shaped by the events of their era.My favorite story was about a young girl named Lin Lin during the 1960s. She was born into a poor family in a rural village. But Lin Lin was super smart and studied really hard. She ended up being one of the first girls from her village to get into a top university in Beijing! Even though times were tough, her determination and love of learning helped her achieve her dreams. Stories like hers make me want to work hard in school too.Another cool part was learning about ancient Chinese inventions and the four great discoveries - the compass, gunpowder, papermaking, and printing. Who knew so many important things were created in China hundreds of years before the rest of the world?? The Chinese were way ahead of their time with technology, science, medicine, and more. I'm really impressed by how innovative the ancient Chinese scholars and engineers were. The last section of the book is about modern China - the cities, economy, transportation, entertainment, technology, and culture today. It's crazy how much has changed so fast! The author talks about China's incredible speed trains, toweringskyscrapers, world-leading mobile payment systems, and global companies like Alibaba and Tencent. He describes the excitement of huge city light shows, breathtaking ancient temples and palaces, and colorful festivals celebrated across the country. China sounds like such a fascinating blend of old traditions meeting new innovations.Overall, I absolutely loved reading "Me and My Country." It opened my eyes to China's deep history, struggles and successes, customs and creativity. The author did an amazing job making the stories feel so alive and relatable, like you were really there experiencing each era. He made me appreciate how far China has come and how bright its future looks. I have a much deeper understanding and appreciation for my ancestral homeland after reading this book. I think everyone should read it, not just Chinese people - there are so many inspiring stories and essential learnings about one of the world's oldest and biggest civilizations.I give this book 5 out of 5 stars! It was an absolutepage-turner from beginning to end. "Me and My Country" filled me with a profound sense of pride in my cultural roots. I can't wait to learn and experience even more about this amazing country. 谢谢!篇6Me and My Country: A Kid's ReflectionI just finished reading this super cool book called "Me and My Country" and I have to tell you all about it! It's a big, thick book with lots of pretty pictures and interesting stories. At first, I wasn't too excited because I thought it would be another boring history book. But boy, was I wrong! The book talks about China, which is where I live, and all the amazing things that have happened here over many, many years. It starts waaaaay back when dinosaurs roamed the land. Can you believe people found actual dinosaur bones and fossils in China? That's just mind-blowing! The book has these incredible pictures of the fossils and recreations of what those mighty creatures may have looked like. I couldn't stop staring at them! Then it talks about ancient China and all the incredible inventions and discoveries made by the super smart people back then. Things like paper, the compass, gunpowder, and printing were all invented in China ages ago! The book describes how paper was first made from mulberry tree bark and bamboo fibers. Isn't that just the coolest thing ever? I can't imagine a world without paper! There are also sections on the grandmasters of Chinese literature, art, and philosophy like Confucius, Laozi, and many others. Their teachings and writings have influenced not just China but the entire world. I tried reading some of their profound sayings and poems, but I have to admit, they went a little over my head. I'll have to revisit them when I'm older and wiser! My favorite parts were the stories of brave heroes, legendary rulers, and epic battles from ancient dynasties like the Qin, Han, and Tang. There were these unstoppable warrior queens, emperors who accomplished incredible feats, and generals who led massive armies into battle. The descriptions of the battles with clashing swords, thundering horses, and billowing war banners gave me goosebumps! I want to be a fearless warrior princess when I grow up.The book also covered more recent history, like the difficult times when foreign nations tried to divide and conquer China. But the Chinese people stayed strong, fought for their freedom, and kicked out the invaders. There are really sad stories about wars, famine, and hardship, but also inspiring tales of resilience, unity, and triumph against all odds. Finally, it talks about the amazing developments and progress China has made in just the last few decades. The cities have turned into high-tech wonderlands with towering skyscrapers, lightning-fast trains, and cutting-edge technology that just blows my mind. China has sent people into space, built the biggest dams and bridges, and achieved so many world's firsts in science and engineering. We've definitely come a long, long way!Reading this book gave me a whole new appreciation for my incredible country and its rich, fascinating history and culture. I'm proud to be Chinese and to call this ancient land my home. Even though the book is super long, I never got bored because there was always something new and exciting to learn on every page. I can't wait to one day travel all across China and see everything I read about with my own eyes!So if you're looking for an awesome book that's fun, educational, and full of thrilling tales and beautiful pictures, then "Me and My Country" is the one for you. I'm definitely going to read it again and again until I've soaked up every last bit of knowledge and adventure between its covers. Maybe I'll even become a historian or explorer when I grow up so I can uncover more of China's countless secrets and wonders!。

The story can be interpreted as a symbol of the independent spirit. It seems to me that many readers’ English reading experience starts with Jane Eyer. I am of no exception. As we refer to the movie “Jane Eyer”, it is not surprising to find some differences because of its being filmized and retold in a new way, but the spirit of the novel remains----to be an independent person, both physically and mentally.Jane Eyer was a born resister, whose parents went off when she was very young, and her aunt, the only relative she had, treated her as badly as a ragtag. Since Jane’s education in Lomon person, just the same as any other girl around. The suffers from being humiliated and devastated teach Jane to be persevering and prize dignity over anything else.As a reward of revolting the ruthless oppression, Jane got a chance to be a tutor in Thornfield Garden. There she made the acquaintance of lovely Adele and that garden’s owner, Rochester, a man with warm heart despite a cold face outside. Jane expected to change the life from then on, but fate had decided otherwise: After Jane and Rochester fell in love with each other and got down to get marry, she unfortunately came to know in fact Rochester had got a legalwife, who seemed to be the shadow followingRochester and led to his moodiness all the time ----Rochester was also a despairing person in need of salvation. Jane did want to give him a hand, however, she made up her mind to leave, because she didn’t want to betray her own principles, because she was Jane Eyer. The film has finally got a symbolist end: Jane inherited a large number of legacies and finally returned. After finding Rochester’s misfortune brought by his original mad wife, Jane chose to stay with him forever.I don’t know what others feel, but frankly speaking, I would rather regard the section that Jane began her teaching job in Thornfield as the film’s end----especially when I heard Jane’s words “Never in my life have I been awaken so happily.” For one thing, this ideal and brand-new beginning of life was what Jane had been imagining for long as a suffering person; for another, this should be what the audiences with my views hoped her to get. But the professional judgment of producing films reminded me to wait for a totally different result: There must be something wrong coming with the excellence----perhaps not only should another section be added to eich the story, but also we may see from the next transition of Jane’s life that “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you would get.” (By Forrest Gump’s mother, in the film “Forrest Gump”) What’s more, this film didn’t end when Jane left Thornfield. For Jane Eyer herself, there should always be somewhere to realize her great ideal of being independent considering her fortitude, but for Rochester, how he can get salvation? The film gives the answer tentatively: Jane eventually got back to Rochester. In fact, when Janemet Rochester for the first time, she scared his horse and made his heel strained, to a certain extent, which meant Rochester would get retrieval because of Jane. We can consider Rochester’s experiences as that of religion meaning. The fire by his frantic wife was the punishment for the cynicism early in his life. After it, Rochester got the mercy of the God and the love of the woman whom he loved. Here we can say: human nature and divinity get united perfectly in order to let such a story accord with the requirements of both two sides. The value of this film may be due to its efforts to explore a new way for the development of humanism under the faith of religion.Life is ceaselessly changing, but our living principles remain. Firmly persisting for the rights of being independent gives us enough confidence and courage, which is like the beacon over the capriccioso sea of life. In the world of the film, we have found the stories of ourselves, which makes us so concerned about the fate of the dramatis personae. In this era of rapid social and technological change leading to increasing life complexity and psychological displacement, both physical and mental effects on us call for a balance. We are likely to find ourselves bogged down in the Sargasso Sea of information overload and living unconsciousness. It’s o ur spirit that makes the life meaningful.Heart is the engine of body, brain is the resource of thought, and great films are the mirrors of life. Indubitably, “Jane Eyer” is one of them.读后感英语作文二Vivid Heroine——On Sister CarrieCarrie was such an ordinary rural girl at the beginning of thestory. Sitting on the seat of a bus, she couldn’t help feeling exciting at the sight of the metropolis’ spectacle. She was impressed deeply by large crowd on the avenue, the spacious square or tall buildings.Far more different from other heroines, Carrie was not a plain pure angel like Snow-white, nor was she brave enough to be a heroine of revolutionist or even a reformer, nor was she so clever as to be a successful career woman who start from scratch. What attracted her most, after her entering this huge metropolis was the incredible fineries, fashion shoes, smart handbags displaying in the shop windows, the jewellerys shining brightly behind the glass. She dreamed that one day, she could wear all of these, jogging gracefully into the most luxurious hotel with focused sights of admiration. And this was not merely a dream. Because she had large eyes which can earn others’ sympathy, even love. She had wonderful figure which can win others’ hearts. However, anything she got, anywhere she reached, had not come from her ambition. Things happened, and then she accepted. That’s what she had just done — just to accept willingly from the bottom of her heart. She was not at all an evil woman who would give anything for the fortune or fame. However, she would give uo something for a better life when her instinct defeated her intellect. That was Carrie, a girl had her own desire, a human being just like many others in the realistic world. There’s one sentence written in chapter VIII:” When this jangle of free-will instinct shall have been adjusted, when perfect understanding has given the former the power to replace the latter entirely, man will no longer vary.” However, how many people can go that further. And I want to quote another sentence to wind up my essay: “In Carrie — as in how many of our wordings do they not? — instinct and reason, desire and understanding, were at war for the mastery.”。

Many people often use "mental illness" to scold one another。

It is obversely that people always have some social prejudice on the "mental illness"。

In many cases, psychopaths always refuse to be given medication。

No one can deny that it is disbeneficial to them, but the problem is not so simple。

We must realize that the enforced behavior against the respondent's will ,such as injection of mind-altering drugs ,is highly offensive to their dignity and autonomy。

To some sufferers, the word "normal" is so boring, they really hate this, and I have to say that they also own the right to stand on their dignity!
As a final comment, I should say that no matter how terrible the people may be, they should be entitled to make decision and there is on doubt that prejudice should be avoided in society。

And this problem is a little bit different from others--the goverment can not solve it by themselves. We need everyone to protect our environment. But we also know that it is very hard to call everyone to join us to protect the environment. But it seems that they have found the way to let everybody know it. In a report, Anhui Daily called on residents to help protect the river against pollution. I am so glad about it. And i believe that somewhere the pollution must stop.。
