Grammar Focus: 可数名词和不可数名词
可数名词(countable nouns):通常可以计数的名词。一般有单数复 数两种形式,可与不定冠词或数词连用。
单数变复数的规则: 1.一般在词尾加-s。 (book-books dog –dogs) 2.以s,x,sh,ch结尾的词在词尾加-es (box-boxes , watch –watches) 3.以f或fe结尾的变f或fe为v,再加-es. (knife- knives, leaf – leaves ) 4.以辅音字母加y结尾的,变y为i再加-es。
