海外版的剑桥雅思10一共就两套题，我们今天就来看一下其中Test1的阅读。
首先，第一篇文章标题是Bovids。
这个文章标题单词不认识时也不用担心，因为正文中第一句话就对这个单词开始了解释：The family of mammals called bovids belongs to……根据这半句话即可知道Bovids是一种哺乳动物统称，准确的意思是指“牛科动物”。
文章前三段描述了Bovids的主要居住在South-east Asia(东南亚)，大部分都喜欢居住在wide open spaces(开阔的地方);还描述了大概的外貌和大小以及特征。
然后第四段开始介绍Bovids的五种sub-families(分支)。
文章后有三个题型，第一大题是3个选择，通过题中定位词回文定位，答案集中于前三段。
第二大题是名称特征配对，五个特征作为题目，和四个Bovids类型配对，有NB，答案从第四段开始一直到最后。
第三大题是简答题5题，NO MORE THAN THREE WORDS, 范围是全篇范围，但都是显性定位词，所以定位和确定答案都不难。

Section1题目解析第1～4题为传统SECTION 1开篇题型，难度并不大，但出现了若干混淆信息。
考生如果慌张就很容易写下错误信息。
题目中表格需要填的信息全都是关于Kingswell的，但之前听到的tennis court和football都是另一家健身中心拥有的。
judo和stretch并不是答案，因为他们现在都没有提供，而是soon，所以现在有的只有yoga，文中出现了relax after exercise也提到了第4题题干中的restaurant，答案很显然为(a)salad bar.第5～8题全为数字题，即考查三种不同会员的会费及设施使用的时间，所以会出现许多同类型信息。
但题目中的答案是按顺序出现的，因此听时不必慌张。
第5题为非常典型的信息修正，oh sorry之后为正确信息。
第8题需要分清joining fee和annual fee，前者为“入会费”，后者为“年费”。
第9、10题为完成句子。
第9题题干中出现了原文中的join，难度不大，但需要注意assessment的拼写。
第10题考查人名，拼写时一定要做到先听单词再听字母。

一、题型分析
沿袭剑1-9的一贯风格，剑10听力此次收录分别来自各个年份场次的共16个section组合而成的4套完整学术类考题。
总体来看，如Chart 1和Chart 2所示，除去Test 1填空题比例远超于选择题，整体来说填空题和选择题比例相当，这和2015年开考至今的真实考试题型比例是基本吻合的。
这就意味着同学们在备考时，不要有题型上的偏颇，填空题和选择题的练习要同等重视。
另外，值得一提的是，剑10未收录地图题这一题型。
但从2015年亚太区目前实际考试情况来看，基本保持每个月考一至两次地图的概率，所以同学们还是要重视地图题的练习，特别是选择式的地图题。

进一步就具体题型而论，提纲填空题一如既往的以主流题型的姿态占据Section 4，这和当下考试基本吻合，且主要以填写单个单词为主。
同时，填空题的另外一大题型-信息题（姓名，地址，日期，数字等）也不出意外的仍然是Section1主要题型。
另外此次剑10中表格题和句子填空的比例比之前的剑7-9有所上升。
单选和配对题集中大量出现在剑10的Section 2和Section 3中，值得指出的是多选题也在这两个部分频繁亮相，且在Test 2和Test 4中以连续两道多选（5选2）的形式出现。
4月11号Section 2和4月30号Section 3都考了连续多选，同学们要不能放松多选的练习。

二、场景分析
场景上，剑10没有重大调整，和雅思听力开考至今的总体场景设置相符，前两个section为生活场景，后两个section为学术场景。
此次剑10收录的生活场景集中为旅游，交通，项目介绍和课程咨询；学术场景集中为作业讨论，课程讨论和专题讲座，具体主题如下表格所示。
需要注意的是，对于背景知识的要求变得更高，有交叉复杂的多场景出现，比如Test 1 Section 3在学业场景中还融汇了环保场景。
这也要求考生有更丰富的
背景知识和有更广阔的知识面以及更大的词库。

这10道题至多会有4题是涉及个人信息的采集，即name, address, date, number。
这些属于考察基本功的
题目，简单但易掉以轻心丢分，比如走上来第一题就是记录一个长串的电话号码。
可能还进入状态或者考场紧张种种原因，就错失这一题了，然后特别影响自己的做题情绪以做题节奏，导致恶性的连环失误。
避免这种情况的发生，我们建议同学们在备考阶段一定要集中不间断的听数字日期，保持耳朵的敏感度。
2、Section4 因为内容上涉及动植物，科学研究，未来科技等学术场景，且答案单词不如Section1那么容易定位及辨识。
请同学们务必累计好Section 4场景词汇，有一定量的输入才能有质的输出。
先去背过这些单词才会更容易去听到它。
“高能高分”理论指导下不愿意看到同学们准备听力词汇时默默的就把它当做背单词来操作了，导致虽然背会很多单词，默写及中文意思都没有问题，但是就是听不到。
这一点就是忽略了我们的“音”。
听力单词的累积一定是要先掌握正确发音，再根据发音大部分符合发音规则的指导下拼写正确。
不然很多同学都是看到答案单词认识，但始终无法第一时间听到这个单词。
对于Section4填空的难度除了单词量的考察，还有一点就是答案在不经意间就报出了但没有意识到这就是答案单词。
这种情况需要同学们在读题预测答案这一步下功夫。
对于这一块的准备，请同学们查看新东方雅思听力机经，以翻译+答案单词整理为主，同时进行听写练习。
3、Section 2和Section 3的选择题的核心是同义替换。
正确答案通常是通过同义替换说出来的。
同义替换也分为三个不同的层次。
最简单的同义替换就是词性上的变化，可能听到的是名词satisfaction，正确选项写的是形容词satisfied；再往上升级的同义替换是同义词，比如听到strategy但是选项写成tactics；最高难度的同义替换为paraphrase改写，用完全不一样的单词和句法来表达同样的意思。
掌握住这个核心，以及听的当下跟上说话者的思路，另外再注意选择题的note-taking能力，那么相信同学们不会再惧怕选择题。
