However, I can provide you with a sample essay that mimics the style anddifficulty level of the test. Below is an example of an essay topic you might see on the test:Title: The Impact of Social Media on SocietyIn today's digitally connected world, it is impossible to ignore the influence of social media on our society. From facilitating communication to shaping public opinion, social media platforms have revolutionized the way we interact and consume information. While some argue that social media has brought about positive changes, others believe that it has detrimental effects on society. In this essay, I will explore the impact of social media on society and present my perspective on this issue. One of the most significant benefits of social media is its ability to connect people from different parts of the world. Platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram have made it easier for individuals to stay in touch with friends and family, regardless of geographical distance. This has fostered a sense of community and belonging among users, leading to stronger relationships and increased social support.Furthermore, social media has revolutionized the way we receive news and information. With the rise of citizen journalism, anyone with a smartphone and internet connection can reporton events as they happen, providing real-time updates on breaking news stories. This has increased transparency and accountability in society, as traditional media outlets are no longer the sole gatekeepers of information. However, the pervasive nature of social media has also raised concerns about privacy and security. From data breaches to online harassment, many users have experienced negative consequences as a result of their online presence. Additionally, the spread of fake news and misinformation has exacerbated societal divisions and eroded trust in the media. In conclusion, social media has undoubtedly had a profound impact on society, both positive and negative. As we navigate the complexities of this new digital age, it is essential to strike a balance between reaping the benefits of social media and mitigating its risks. By fostering responsible online behavior and promoting digital literacy, we can harness the power of social media for the greater good of society.。

2023年12月英语四级真题第一套范文

2023年12月英语四级真题第一套范文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Amazing Summer VacationSummer vacation is the best time of the year! No more teachers, no more books, no more sitting at my desk all day long. For three whole months, I was free to run and play and have fun adventures every single day. This summer was especially awesome because my family took an epic road trip across the country. We saw so many incredible sights and had the craziest experiences. Let me tell you all about it!Our journey began rig篇2The Big Test and My Big DayGosh, where do I even begin? The December 2023 College English Test Band 4 was a real doozy! I'm just a kid in elementary school, but my older sister was taking that test, so I know all about it. She studied really hard for months, and she was super nervous leading up to the big day.On the morning of the test, our whole family was up before the rooster crowed. My sister was doublechecking that she had enough sharpened pencils, her test admission ticket, and her ID. My mom made her a special breakfast to give her brain fuel –scrambled eggs, whole wheat toast, and a tall glass of orange juice. I joined her at the table and tried to calm her nerves by telling jokes, but I don't think they helped much. Finally, it was time to head out. My dad drove her to the test center at the local university. I waved goodbye from the backseat, shouting "You've got this, sis! Show that test who's boss!" She managed a weak smile before disappearing into the big building. The test was split into two parts – listening and then reading/writing. The listening part came first. My sister said there were conversations to listen to between two people, as well as longer lectures and talks. She had to answer multiple choice questions about the main ideas, details, and implied meanings. Sounds pretty tough if you ask me!After a short break, it was on to the reading and writing sections. There were several different passages to read – some were straightforward narratives, while others were more academic articles packed with facts and analysis. The questions really tested how well you understood not just what wasexplicitly stated, but also the deeper meanings and logical connections between ideas. My sister's hand cramped up from furiously bubbling in her answer choices. Then came the writing part – the makers showed no mercy! First up was a short email response task. You had to read a situation and compose a reply email of around 100 words, minding formalities and getting your point across clearly and completely. No rewrites allowed! But that was just the warm-up. The real test was the big bad essay writing task at the very end. You had to write a coherent, well-organized essay of about 400 words on an assigned topic. And this topic was no cakewalk either – something about the impact of social media on youth and society. You had to state a clear position, provide solid reasoning and examples to back it up, and wrap it all up with a compelling conclusion. All in the span of 30 short minutes! My sister's fingers were a blur as she raced against the clock. When she finally emerged from the test center, she looked like she'd been put through the wringer. Her eyes were glazed over and there were bags under them from concentrating so hard. But she had persevered and given it her all.A few weeks later, the scores came out. My sister passed with flying colors! All that hard work, sweat, and tears paid off. We had a little celebration at home with cake and ice cream. I was one proud little brother. So yeah, that December 2023 test was no joke. Reading passages galore, conversations to decipher, essays to craft under a brutal time crunch – it really put the whole package of English skills to the ultimate test. I don't know if I'll ever be able to handle something so intense! But my big sis showed that with dedication and perseverance, you can conquer even the most formidable challenges. I'll be cheering her on as she uses her English prowess to take on the world!篇3The Big English TestWow, I just took the biggest English test ever - the December 2023 CET-4 exam! It was really long and had some super hard parts. But I studied a ton and gave it my best shot. Let me tell you all about it!First, we had to get to the test site bright and early. My mom drove me there before the sun even came up. The testing room was huge with row after row of desks. It felt like there were amillion students there, but my teacher said it was probably only a few thousand. Still, that's a lot of people to fit in one place! The nice ladies handing out the test papers made sure we were all sitting in the right spot. They were very strict about no talking and no cheating. I wouldn't cheat anyway since that's not cool. But I've got to admit, I was a little nervous with so many rules! Then it was time to start the listening part. That's always my favorite because I love listening to English stories, shows, and music. The speakers on the recording weren't quite as fun as watching a movie, but I tried my best to catch all the details they said. There were conversations between people as well as lectures from professors. Concentrating that hard for an hour made my brain feel like a wet noodle by the end! After a quick break to rest our ears, we moved onto the reading part. This was the section I struggled with the most. The passages were soooo long and covered all kinds of topics like science, history, culture, and more. My eyes started crossing after a while from reading so much tiny print. But I slowed down and worked through each one carefully. The multiple choice questions were pretty tricky too. For some of them, I really had touse my critical thinking skills to figure out the correct answer from the options they gave. The break for lunch couldn't have come soon enough! My brain felt fried from that intense morning of testing. I've never been so happy to eat a sandwich in my life. The afternoon wasn't any easier though...We kicked things off again with some writing tasks. First, we had to write a short paragraph describing the main idea from a picture they showed us. That wasn't too difficult since I'm a great writer (or at least my mom says so!). Next was an outline for an essay about whether elementary schools should have longer breaks. I argued in favor of more breaks because kids need plenty of time to rest, recharge, and play. Hopefully they agree with me on that one!The last writing section required us to write a longer essay arguing for or against a certain opinion. The topic was whether schools should teach more practical life skills like budgeting and taxes instead of just academics. I can definitely see benefits to both sides. Either way, I made sure to include a clear thesis statement, supporting examples, and a conclusion tying it all together. Writing has always been one of my strengths, so I felt pretty good about those sections.Just when I thought I was finally done, we moved onto the translation part. Having to go back and forth between English and Chinese was making my head spin at that point! The sentences started out simple enough, asking us to translate things like "I rode my bike to the park yesterday." But then they got incredibly complex with idioms, slang, and advanced vocabulary. I had to stop and think carefully about several of those suckers. After what felt like an entire day of nonstop writing, reading, listening, and translating, the test was finally over! I could hardly believe I had made it through such an marathon. My hand was cramped into a claw from all the bubbling and writing. I'm pretty sure smoke was coming out of my ears from overworking my brain so much. Despite being utterly exhausted, I also felt a big sense of accomplishment for giving it my all. There's no way to know for sure how I did until I get my score back in a few weeks. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I did well enough to pass! If not, I'll just have to try again next time. But no matter what the result is, I'm really proud of myself for pushing through and doing my best on this huge test. An experience like that definitely gets an A+ for teaching perseverance, focus, and determination! So yeah, that's the full scoop about my crazy experience with the December 2023 CET-4 exam. It was no walk in the park, that's for sure. But I survived it and lived to tell the tale! Hopefully this gives you an idea of what it's like to take that big English test. If you ever have to take it yourself, just study hard, stay calm, and don't forget to reward yourself with pizza or ice cream afterwards. You'll have earned it! Phew, I definitely need a nice long nap now...篇4My Life As a KidHi there! My name is Timmy and I'm 10 years old. I'm just a regular kid who loves playing outside, watching cartoons, and eating candy. But I also go to school like all kids my age. Life is pretty great being a 10-year-old!Every morning, my mom wakes me up at 7am for school. I don't like waking up that early, but she says I have to be ready on time. I get dressed, brush my teeth, and head to the kitchen for breakfast. My favorite is pancakes with syrup and a glass of orange juice. Yum!After breakfast, I grab my backpack and wait for the school bus. The bus ride is pretty fun because I get to sit with my bestfriend Jake. We talk about video games, soccer, and all the other things kids our age like. Sometimes we make jokes and prank the bus driver, but not too much because we don't want to get in trouble. Finally, we arrive at Oakwood Elementary School. It's a big building with lots of classrooms, a gym, cafeteria, library, and playground. My first class is usually math, which isn't my favorite subject. Numbers can be confusing! But my teacher, Mrs. Allen, is really nice and helps explain things clearly. After math is reading class. I enjoy this one a lot more because I love reading fiction books about adventures, superheroes, and weird creatures. We take turns reading out loud from the class novel. Sometimes the teacher has us do writing exercises too, like making up our own stories. That's my favorite part!Around 11:30am, it's time for lunch and recess. At lunch, I usually get the chicken nuggets, fries, and a chocolate milk carton. For recess, everyone heads outside to the playground to run around, play games, and have fun before afternoon classes. Jake and I will pretend to be ninjas, spies, or superheroes saving the world from evil villains. So much imagination! In the afternoon, we have science, social studies, art, and gym class. Science is interesting because we get to do experiments. One time we made little volcanoes erupt with baking soda and vinegar! For social studies, we learn about geography, history, and different cultures around the world. Art class allows me to draw, paint, and get creative which I love. Gym is great for playing sports like basketball, kickball, and dodgeball. Finally, the school day ends at 3pm. I hop back on the bus to head home. In the evenings, I'll do my homework, have dinner with my family, maybe watch some TV, and play outside if it's nice out. We have an awesome treehouse in the backyard! On weekends, I don't have school so I can sleep in late. My parents will sometimes take me and my little sister to fun places like the zoo, water park, movies, or museums. I prefer more active places though like mini golf, laser tag, and trampolines! We'll also have sleepovers and pizza parties with neighborhood friends.Overall, my life as a 10-year-old kid is pretty sweet. Sure, I have to go to school and do some learning. But I also get to play, be silly, use my imagination, and just act like a kid! My biggest goals right now are getting good grades, making the soccerteam next year, and finally beating the last level of my favorite video game. A kid's life is just pure fun!So that's a glimpse into my daily routine and life as an elementary student. Thanks for reading about my world! Being a kid may not be as exciting as being a grown-up, but we certainly know how to stay entertained. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a very important game of pretend ninja warriors to get back to!篇5My Awesome Day at SchoolHi there! My name is Emma and I'm 8 years old. I'm in 3rd grade at Oakwood Elementary School. Today was such an exciting day that I just have to tell you all about it!It started off like any regular school day. My mom woke me up at 7am like she always does. I got dressed in my favorite outfit - a purple t-shirt with a unicorn on it and pink shorts. Then I went downstairs and had a bowl of Lucky Charms for breakfast. My little brother Timmy was being a total pain as usual, throwing his Cheerios all over the floor. Typical Timmy! The bus came at 8:15 to pick us up. I made sure to get a seat near the front because I don't like sitting in the way back - it'stoo rowdy and smelly back there. Timmy had to sit with the other kindergarteners at the front of the bus. As soon as we arrived at school, he started crying and didn't want me to leave him. What a baby!My first class of the day was math. I'm really good at math, it's my favorite subject. We were learning about multiplication and I was the first one to get all the problems right on the practice worksheet. My teacher Mrs. Patterson gave me a gold star! After that was reading time. We've been reading the Captain Underpants books and they are so hilarious. I laugh out loud every time I read them, which sometimes gets me in trouble. Whoops! At 11:30 it was time for lunch and recess, which is definitely the best part of the school day. I was so hungry after working so hard in my morning classes. I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, apple slices, Goldfish crackers, and a Capri Sun juice pouch. My friends Sophia and Ava and I raced each other to finish our lunches first so we could go play on the swings and monkey bars.During recess, the most incredible thing happened! I was swinging super high when all of a sudden, I did a front flip right off the swing! I landed perfectly on my feet on the woodchipground. None of my friends could believe it - they all started cheering like crazy. I felt like a real gymnast or circus performer! The teachers all ran over making sure I was okay. I wasn't hurt at all, just a little dizzy. They told me how proud they were that I was so brave and talented. I'm not sure how I pulled that amazing flip off, but it was awesome! After recess, we had science class. We got to do an experiment making miniature volcanoes out of playdough, baking soda, and vinegar. Mine was the most explosive of anyone's! Vinegar and baking soda went splattering everywhere. At first I thought I was in trouble, but Mr. Jacobs said he was impressed by my vigorous chemical reaction. Yes!The rest of the day was pretty normal - we had an art class where I made a beautiful watercolor painting of a unicorn. During PE, we played kickball. I got to be team captain and picked all my friends first. And finally, we had music class where we sang fun campfire songs and learned to play "Hot Cross Buns" on the recorder. What a jam-packed day! When the final bell rang at 3:15, I was absolutely exhausted. Thank goodness it was Friday so I had the whole weekend to rest and recover from my adventurous day! The bus ride home seemed to take forever. As soon as I walked through the door, Icrashed on the couch. My mom asked me about my day and I excitedly told her about the amazing front flip I somehow managed to do off the swing. She didn't believe me at first, but said she was proud of me for trying new things. After eating a snack, I drew a picture to capture the awesomeness of my school day. That front flip was so incredible, I'll remember it forever! This was definitely one of the most exciting, fun-filled days I've ever had at school. I nodded off to sleep dreaming about all the other amazing, unbelievable things I might get to experience next week. An elephant randomly showing up on the playground? Learning fractions from a unicorn teacher? Anything's possible in 3rd grade!篇6My Winter Vacation AdventuresHi there! My name is Lily and I'm going to tell you all about my amazing winter vacation this year. It was the best vacation ever and I had so much fun!It all started on the last day of school before the break. My teacher Ms. Johnson gave us a big box of art supplies and said we could make whatever we wanted over the holidays. I was so excited because I love arts and crafts! I got colored pencils, markers, glue, scissors, construction paper, and more. I couldn't wait to get started on my masterpieces. When I got home, the first thing I did was dump out the box all over the living room floor. My mom wasn't too happy about the mess, but she knows how much I love being creative. I started working on a papier mâché piñata in the shape of a unicorn. It took me three whole days of layering strips of newspaper covered in glue and paint to get it just right, but it turned out absolutely beautiful!A few days later, it was finally Christmas Eve. We drove over to my grandma's house for our big family celebration. All my cousins were there too and we had a blast. Grandma made the most delicious Christmas dinner with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and pie for dessert. After we ate, we all gathered around the Christmas tree to open our presents.I got so many amazing gifts - Legos, books, art supplies, and best of all, a brand new bike! It's bright pink with tassels on the handlebars and a bell that jingles when I ride. I've been begging my parents for a bike for years and I was so happy my wish finally came true. As soon as I unwrapped it, I begged them to let me try it out, but they said I had to wait until morning since it was already getting dark out.On Christmas morning, the second I woke up, I put on my coat and shoes and ran outside to take my new bike for a spin around the neighborhood. It was a little tricky getting the hang of it at first since my old bike had training wheels, but after a few wobbles, I was sailing along like a pro! I loved feeling the wind blow through my hair and the rush of going super fast down the hills. After a week or so, I started to get bored just riding my bike around the same old neighborhood. That's when I had my most genius idea ever – I decided to set up a bike rental business! I made a sign out of cardboard that said "Lily's Bike Rentals - 1 per hour" and set up a little stand on the corner. A few neighborhood kids saw my sign and came over to rent my bike for an hour to ride around. It worked like a charm! I made five whole dollars that first day.Word started to spread about my little business, and soon kids from all over town were coming by to rent out bikes and trikes from me. I used the money I earned to buy cheap secondhand bikes and dollies from garage sales, which I then spruced up with fresh paint and streamers to make them look brand new. Before I knew it, I had a full fleet of a dozen bicycles in my garage that were being rented out constantly. All theneighborhood kids were having a blast and I was making a pretty big profit for a kid!In the end, I made over 500 from my winter vacation bike rental business! I was so proud of myself for coming up with such a clever idea and working hard to make it a success. My parents say they're going to make me put some of the money into my college fund, but I convinced them to let me use part of it to buy some super cool upgrades for my original pink bicycle, like a banana seat, ape hanger handlebars, and a playing card that attaches to the spokes to make that awesome motorycle sound. Now that school is starting up again, I've put my bike business on hold for the time being. But you can bet I'll be reopening Lily's Bike Rentals again next winter vacation! I already have so many new ideas to make it even bigger and better. I might be just a kid, but I'm also a pretty savvy entrepreneur if I do say so myself.Well, that's the story of my epic winter adventures! I had such an unforgettable vacation. Between turning my living room into an art studio, celebrating Christmas with my family, getting my dream bike, and accidentally starting my own booming bike rental service, it was definitely a few weeks I'll never forget. I can't wait to see what exciting adventures next vacation holds!。

2020年9月英语四级真题第一套作文范文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Sport - BasketballHi everyone! My name is Emma and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you all about my favorite sport, basketball! It's the best game ever and I love playing it with my friends.Basketball is a fun game where you have to throw a big orange ball through a high hoop. It's kind of like trying to put a watermelon through a toilet seat! The court has two hoops, one at each end, and there are lines marking where you can dribble and shoot from. There are two teams of five players each. You have to dribble the ball while running to the other team's hoop. But you can't run while holding the ball, you have to keep bouncing it. If you don't, it's a big no-no called "traveling" and the ref will blow his whistle at you. Whoops! The other team tries to steal the ball from you or block your shots. It's totally allowed to swat the ball out of someone's handsas long as you don't hurt them. You get points for making baskets - 2 points for short ones and 3 points for long ones behind the curved line.My favorite part is rebounding! That's when someone shoots and misses, and you have to jump up and grab the ball before the other team gets it. I'm not very tall yet but I'm a jumping bean so I can usually outjump the bigger kids.It takes a lot of teamwork and passing to move the ball down the court. You have to be careful not to commit fouls like pushing people over. But a little accidental contact is okay as long as you don't hurt anyone on purpose.Every team needs a coach to draw up cool plays and motivate the players. My coach is really nice and brings us snacks after games. He teaches us skills like dribbling, shooting, and defending. I want to be a coach someday! What I love most about basketball is how fast and exciting it is. Players are constantly running up and down the court, trying to score while the other team is scrambling to get the ball back. The scoring goes back and forth quick! There are so many rules to remember too - shot clock violations, out of bounds, double dribbling, and more. It takespractice but that's what makes it fun and challenging. You have to really know what you're doing. In the pros, there are two hoop leagues - the NBA for men and the WNBA for women. My favorite NBA player is Steph Curry because of his crazy 3-point shooting. For the WNBA, I love watching Candace Parker play - she's so powerful and skilled. Some of the most famous basketball moments ever include Michael Jordan's Air Jordan dunk from the free throw line, the US Dream Team dominating in 1992, and the historic Villanova basketball championship buzzer beater by Kris Jenkins. When I'm not playing basketball, I enjoy watching it on TV with my family. We get so excited, yelling at the players and refs even though they can't hear us! We always make game day snacks like nachos, hot dogs, and popcorn and my parents let me stay up late if it's a close game. After I graduate from college, I hope I can go pro or maybe coach a high school or college team if I'm not good enough. My backup plan is to pursue a basketball career as a referee, making all the tough calls during intense games. For now though, I'm just happy playing for my school's team and practicing on the driveway hoop at home. Sometimes theneighbors will stop and watch me shooting hoops and give me pointers. I'll keep working hard every day because practice makes progress! My dream is to play basketball in the Olympics for my country someday. Can you imagine standing on that podium, receiving a gold medal while your national anthem plays? I get chills just thinking about it. I'd be so proud to represent my country through the sport I love.Well, that's the story of my favorite sport, basketball! It has been called the greatest game on earth and I agree 100%. It teaches you teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and so many other important skills for life. Plus it's just super fun and gets your heart pumping.I really hope you'll give basketball a try if you haven't already. All you need is a ball and a hoop and you're good to go! Maybe I'll see you out on the courts or maybe even in the NBA or WNBA someday. Who knows? But for now, let's shoot some more hoops!篇2The College English Test was Big Trouble! I had to wake up super early on a Saturday morning. My mom made me eat a bigbreakfast to get energy for the test. There were lots of sections like listening, reading, and writing. The writing part was the worst! For the writing, we had to write a whole essay in English. The topic was "What are the benefits and drawbacks of living in the era of artificial intelligence?" That's a really hard question! I had to think really hard.First, I wrote about what artificial intelligence even is. Artificial intelligence or AI means really smart computer programs and robots that can think and learn like humans. Some AI can see things, hear sounds, talk, and make decisions. That's pretty cool if you ask me!Next, I talked about some good things AI can do. AI can help doctors treat sick people by looking at x-rays and test results. They never get tired so they don't make mistakes. AI robots can also work in dangerous places like mines or nuclear plants where it's not safe for humans.AI cars that can drive themselves are another benefit. The cars use sensors to see everything around them. They don't get distracted like human drivers. Self-driving cars could really cut down on accidents which would save lots of lives. But there are some bad points about too much AI too. AI is taking over lots of jobs that humans used to do. Factories use robot workers instead of people now. Even some office jobs like accounting are being done by AI software. That means fewer job opportunities for regular humans.Another downside is that advanced AI could get out of control. If AI programs get too smart, they might not want to follow human instructions anymore. That would be really dangerous if killer robot armies stopped listening to us! I've seen lots of movies about that.Speaking of movies, AI is also being used more and more to create fake videos or "deep fakes." These look totally real but the person in them didn't actually say or do those things. Deep fakes could be used to spread a lot of lies and misinformation.Privacy is the last big concern I wrote about. AI collects huge amounts of data by watching us, listening to us, and tracking what we do online. Companies use that private info to sell us stuff through targeted ads. That's how they already know what you searched for and can advertise those products to you on other sites. Creepy! In my conclusion, I said that AI will keep growing and impacting our lives more and more. We need to be careful andhave rules so that AI is developed in a safe, ethical, and controlled way. AI could be an amazing helper to humans if we're smart about using it right.Overall, I think my essay turned out pretty good! My teacher gave me a smiley face sticker. Writing in English is hard but I tried my best. Hopefully I did well on the whole test. Me and my friends去ed to get pizza after to celebrate being done with the big exam. What a day!篇3Title: My Unforgettable Summer VacationHi everyone! I'm so excited to tell you all about my summer vacation this year. It was the best summer ever! I went on a really fun trip with my family and had the most amazing adventures. It all started when school let out in June. My parents surprised me and my little brother by telling us we were going on a road trip! We were going to drive across the country and visit some of the most beautiful national parks in America. I had never been on a road trip before, so I was super thrilled. We packed up our trusty mini-van with all our gear - tents, sleeping bags, hiking backpacks and lots of snacks and gamesfor the drive. First up was the long 10-hour drive from our house in Ohio to the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. Even though it was a really long drive, it didn't feel that way because we played lots of road trip games like I Spy and 20 Questions. We also sang silly songs and told funny stories to pass the time. When we finally arrived at the Great Smoky Mountains, I was amazed at how tall and green the mountains were! We stayed at a cool campground right inside the park. We went hiking every day on the trails through the thick forests. I saw lots of interesting plants, birds and other wildlife. One day we even spotted a black bear from a distance! That was equal parts terrifying and awesome. After a few days, we drove further west to the amazing Grand Canyon in Arizona. Wow, the Grand Canyon is so huge and deep! The colors of the rocks are beautiful shades of red, orange and purple. We did a short hike part way into the canyon and I felt so tiny compared to the massive walls towering all around me. It was breathtaking. From the Grand Canyon, we headed to Utah to see three amazing parks there - Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park and Zion National Park. Each one had incredibly unique rock formations in all sorts of crazy shapes. In Arches, wewalked through a twisted arch taller than a house. In Canyonlands, the landscapes looked like they were from another planet - with giant orange pillars and jagged red canyons. And in Zion, we hiked up a narrow slot canyon with towering cliffs on both sides. Our final stop was Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. This park has so many cool geysers and hot springs everywhere. We saw the most famous one - Old Faithful - erupt and shoot boiling hot water like 100 feet into the air! We also saw herds of bison just walking around the park like they owned the place. At night, we made s'mores over the campfire and stargazed at the amazingly bright night skies you can only get out in nature like that.By the time our road trip ended, I had visited 6 different states and driven over 3,500 miles! I got to see so many incredible natural wonders and spend great quality time with my family. We took millions of photos and made memories that will last forever. It was the perfect summer vacation before starting a new school year. I feel so grateful and lucky to have had this amazing experience. I can't wait for my next big adventure!篇4My Awesome Day at the ParkHi friends! Today I'm going to tell you all about my super fun day at the park last weekend. It was the best day ever!On Saturday morning, I woke up really early because I was so excited. I had my breakfast quickly - just some cereal and milk. Then I got dressed in my favorite t-shirt with a dinosaur on it and my comfy jeans. I put on my sneakers too because I knew I'd be running around a lot at the park.My mom and dad and I piled into the car and headed to Sunny Park. It's not too far from our house, maybe a 10 minute drive. I was bouncing up and down in the backseat, I was so hyper! Finally we got there and I raced out of the car towards the playground. The playground at Sunny Park is awesome! It has so much fun stuff. There are swings and seesaws and a big circular merry-go-round that you can spin really fast. There's a jungle gym with curved ladders and tubes to crawl through. And the best part is the huge wavy slide that's bright yellow! I ran over and climbed up to the top immediately."Wheeeee!" I shouted as I zipped down the slide. It's so fast and fun! I climbed back up and went down again and again. Abunch of other kids were playing there too. We were all laughing and screaming with glee as we slid down over and over. After a little while, I got tired of the slide and went over to the swings. I love swinging super high up towards the sky! My dad pushed me on the swinds for a while until my legs were sore from kicking. The wind was blowing through my hair which felt so nice and refreshing. For a break, we walked over to the open grassy area of the park. My mom had packed a picnic lunch for us - sandwiches, apple slices, crackers, and juice boxes. We spread out our blanket and I munched happily while watching squirrels and birds running around. A cute little bunny even hopped by! I tried to creep up and pet it but it was too fast for me.After we ate, my dad challenge me to a race across the field. "On your mark, get set, go!" he shouted. I took off running as fast as my little legs could go, hair flying behind me. Dad let me win of course, but I was still so proud when I reached the tree he was running towards first. "I'm the fastest!" I cheered, jumping up and down.As the day started getting hotter, Mom suggested we go to the creek that winds through the park to cool off. We rolled up our pants and took off our shoes and socks to wade in theshallow waters. It was so refreshing! I splashed around, watching little minnows dart away from my feet. At one point, I accidentally stepped in a deeper pool and got my shorts all wet. Luckily it was warm enough to dry off quickly. After creek exploring, we stopped at a picnic table to rehydrate with fresh water bottles from the cooler. I was feeling sleepy from all the fun and exercise, so I cuddled up on the bench to rest for a bit.I must have dozed off because the next thing I knew, Mom was gently shaking me awake. "Did you have a good nap?" she asked with a smile. I rubbed my eyes and nodded shyly. She laughed and said we could go play one last game before heading home for dinner. For our final activity, we headed over to the baseball diamons. Dad and I played a modified game of catch while Mom watched from the bleachers. She didn't want to get hit by one of Dad's professional pitcher-level throws! Every time the ball came my way, I clenched my mitt tightly in concentration. I caught most of them, dropping just a few. Go me!By the time we finished our baseball back-and-forth, I was completely tuckered out. My cheeks were rosy red and I wasready to go home. The car ride back, I fell asleep again, dreaming about the wonderful day I'd had. When we got home, I ate a yummy dinner of chicken nuggets and french fries (my favorite!) while Mom and Dad laughed about how much energy I had expended at the park. After dinner, I took a nice warm bath to get cleaned up, then put on my cozy pajamas. Even though it was still early, I could barely keep my eyes open, so Mom read me a couple bedtime stories and I pretty quickly konked out for the night. What an awesome day at the park! I had so much fun playing on all the playground equipment, having a picnic, exploring nature, and playing sports with my family. I can't wait to go back again soon. The park is the best! I'm so lucky my mom and dad take me. Thanks for reading about my incredible day - I hope you get to go to the park soon too!篇5The Biggest Adventure of My Little LifeHi everybody! My name is Lily and I'm 8 years old. I just had the most exciting adventure ever and I can't wait to tell you all about it!Last summer, my parents surprised me and my little brother Tommy with a trip to Yellowstone National Park. I had learned about Yellowstone in school and couldn't believe we were actually going there. Yellowstone is this huge park full of forests, mountains, rivers, and incredible animals like bison and bears. It even has real hot springs and geysers that shoot boiling water way up into the air!The drive to Yellowstone from our house took forever. Tommy and I kept asking "Are we there yet?" until Mom and Dad got really annoyed. When we finally arrived, I pressed my face against the car window, trying to see everything at once. The park was just as amazing as I had imagined! We stayed in a cute little cabin near the visitor center. On our first morning, a huge bison was standing right outside, munching on the grass. Dad said we had to stay back because bison are dangerous if you get too close. I was disappointed we couldn't pet it, but Mom reminded me that wild animals need to stay wild. That day, we went on a long hike to see the Grand Prismatic Hot Spring. The hot spring looks like a massive rainbow pool because of all the different colored bacteria growing in it. Steam was rising off the surface and it smelled a little bit like rotteneggs from the sulfur. Our guide told us the water is so hot, it could literally boil you alive! I decided to admire the hot spring from a safe distance. The next few days were packed with more hikes and wildlife watching. We spotted elk with giant antlers, a grizzly bear digging for roots, and thousands of tiny squirmy pikas scurrying among the rocks. My little brother Tommy loved the pikas and kept trying to catch them, but they were too fast!My absolute favorite day was when we visited Old Faithful, the most famous geyser in the park. Old Faithful erupts every 90 minutes or so, shooting a huge tower of steaming hot water up to 180 feet in the air! We got there ultra early to get a good viewing spot in the amphitheater surrounding the geyser. As we waited for Old Faithful to erupt, I could see steam slowly starting to escape from the hole in the ground. I fidgeted with anticipation, not wanting to miss a single second. Suddenly, with an enormous gasping roar, the geyser violently exploded, blasting a tremendous column of scalding water straight up into the sky! I watched in total awe as the water arched high overhead before crashing back down in a misty rain around the geyser's mouth. It was the most jaw-droppingly cool thing I had ever witnessed! After Old Faithful's incredible performance, we went on a trail ride on horseback. I loved feeling the rhythmic sway of the horse beneath me as we ambled through meadows filled with wildflowers. At one point, we had to halt and let a massive herd of bison cross right in front of us. They are the true rulers of Yellowstone! On our very last day, we took a scenic drive to admire the vibrant colored篇6My Holiday AdventureLast summer, I had the best holiday ever! My family and I went on a big trip to Australia. We saw so many awesome things and had the craziest adventures. Let me tell you all about it!We started our trip by flying on a huge airplane from China to Sydney. It took forever - like 10 hours! I watched lots of movies and played games on the little TV on the back of the seat in front of me. When we finally landed, I was so excited to be in a new country.Sydney was amazing! We visited the famous Sydney Opera House and climbed up on the roof for a tour. From up there, youcan see the entire harbor and city. It was a little scary being so high up, but the view was incredible. We also went to Taronga Zoo and saw tons of cool animals like kangaroos, koalas, and even a giant saltwater crocodile! After a few days in Sydney, we rented a camper van and started driving up the east coast. Our first stop was the Gold Coast where we went to super fun theme parks like Dreamworld and Sea World. I loved all the crazy roller coasters and getting splashed by the dolphins and whales! As we kept driving north, we stopped at lots of beautiful beaches. We went snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef and saw so many colorful fish and coral. I even spotted a tiny reef shark! Another day, we took a boat out to watch some huge humpback whales migrate. Seeing those massive whales breach and splash back into the water was just mind-blowing.The best part though was when we went on a rainforest adventure walk. We had to cross scary rope bridges hanging over rivers and ravines. Our guide taught us about all the exotic plants and animals in the dense jungle. We even got to spot some wild kangaroos hopping around! At night, we camped out in the middle of the rainforest and roasted marshmallows over acampfire. The stars looked amazing without any city lights around. After two awesome weeks of exploring, it was sadly time to head back home. I had such an unforgettable adventure Down Under. Australia is one of the coolest places I've ever been! I made so many incredible memories that I'll never forget. I'm already bugging my parents to take me back there again soon. Maybe next time we can see the Outback deserts!。

22年6月英语四级第一套作文范文

22年6月英语四级第一套作文范文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Awesome Summer VacationHooray, school's out for summer! I was so excited when the final bell rang on the last day of school. No more waking up early, no more homework, and no more boring lessons for a whole three months! This was going to be the best summer ever. The first week of vacation, I slept in until noon every day. My mom didn't even try to wake me up because she knows how much I hate getting up early for school. I spent my mornings watching cartoons in my pajamas and eating bowls of sugary cereal. Life was perfect! In the afternoons, I went outside to play with my best friends Tommy and Samantha. We had huge imagination and our backyard became a different adventure every day. One day we were brave explorers trekking through a dense jungle. The next day, we were mighty knights defending our castle against an evil dragon. We ran around for hours, sweating and laughing and having the time of our lives. Some days, my mom took me to the community pool. I'm a pretty good swimmer for my age. I can doggy paddle and do a sloppy version of the front crawl. I even tried diving off the high dive once, but I just made a huge belly flop and got winded. Tommy said I looked like a dead fish flailing around! At the pools, we had contests to see who could hold their breath underwater the longest. Tommy always cheated by peeking one eye open.On the 4th of July, we watched the big fireworks display. It was so amazing with all the bright colors exploding in the night sky! My dad let me have a few sips of his beer, but I didn't really like the bitter taste. I much preferred my mom's sweet strawberry daiquiris! We stayed up way past my bedtime setting off our own little fireworks in the backyard.A few weeks into summer, my parents sent me to sleep-away camp in the mountains for two weeks. I was really nervous about being away from home for that long, but it ended up being a blast! We went hiking, canoeing, horseback riding, and mades'mores around the campfire every night. I even got to try archery and rock climbing which were both scary but fun. The camp counselors were really nice too. Every night we had silly camp skits, sang goofy songs, and did hilarious camp cheers. Imade a whole bunch of new friends and we all traded addresses to keep in touch after camp. When I got back from camp, it was already the middle of August which meant the end of summer was near. My family took a trip down to the beach for a week. We stayed in a hotel right on the oceanfront so we could listen to the relaxing sound of crashing waves. I spent my days building enormous sandcastles, hunting for intact seashells, and playing in the salty surf. One afternoon, we went on a deep sea fishing trip and I amazingly reeled in a huge tuna fish all by myself! The captain said it was nearly his size! That night, we had it cooked up for a delicious fresh tuna steak dinner. On the last few days before school started again, I tried my best to soak up every last bit of freedom and fun. My friends and I had one final backyard campout where we stayed up all night telling scary stories and making smelly belly burps. We played intense games of flashlight tag that didn't end until we were completely exhausted. Those were some of the best nights of my life. Finally, the inevitable happened and my mom was making me try on new sneakers and shopping for a durable backpack. The night before the first day, I could barely sleep from a swirlingmix of nervousness and sadness. My incredible summer was officially over. No more lounging around like a bum or being lazy all day.But as I put on my fresh new outfit and looked at my excited face in the mirror, I felt a surge of pride at becoming a fourth grader this year. All those fun summer adventures and laid back days gave me the recharging break I needed. Now I was mentally and physically ready to conquer a new grade with all its challenges and opportunities for more exciting experiences. "This is going to be my best school year yet!" I proclaimed out loud. So while I would miss the endless freedom of summer, I knew more amazing events and memories were right around the corner. I gave summer vacation a huge mental hug and wave goodbye before marching off to continue my unstoppable journey of awesomeness!篇2My Big Summer AdventureHi there! My name is Emily and I'm 10 years old. I just had the most amazing summer vacation ever! I went on a big adventure with my family and I can't wait to tell you all about it.It all started when my dad said we were going on a road trip.I was super excited because I love going on long drives and seeing new places. My little brother Tommy wasn't too happy about it though. He hates being stuck in the car for hours.A few days later, we packed up our trusty minivan with all our stuff - clothes, snacks, games, and my favorite teddy bear Mr. Fluffles. The night before we left, I could hardly sleep because I was so pumped up!The next morning, bright and early, we hit the road. Our first stop was the Grand Canyon! Have you ever been there? It's this massive, ginormous hole in the ground that just seems to go on forever. It's so big that I felt like a tiny little ant standing next to it.We went hiking along the rim trails and our guide told us all about how the canyon was formed by the Colorado River over millions of years. Can you imagine that? A whole river just carved out this giant ditch! It's totally mind-blowing.After the Grand Canyon, we drove to Las Vegas. Now that's a place like no other! It's a city right in the middle of the desert with all these huge hotels that look like castles and pyramids. The best part was seeing all the bright lights and shows on the main street called The Strip. One minute there were piratesswinging from ropes, the next minute dolphins were jumping through rings of fire! It was insane but so much fun. From Vegas, we took a plane to Hawaii. Let me tell you, Hawaii is a little slice of paradise on Earth. We spent our days swimming in the warm ocean, building sandcastles on the beach, and going on hikes through lush, green forests. The most exciting thing we did was go snorkeling with sea turtles! They're these massive creatures that just glide through the water so gracefully. Watching them up close was magical. After Hawaii, it was back on a plane to Washington D.C. This was the part of the trip I was most excited for because I'm a huge history buff. We saw all the famous monuments and memorials like the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, and the White House. My favorite was the National Air and Space Museum because I want to be an astronaut when I grow up. Getting to see real rockets and space suits was out of this world! Our last stop was New York City and boy, was it a doozy! NYC is like a million cities all crammed together. The buildings are so tall they seem to touch the clouds. We saw the Statue of Liberty, went to the top of the Empire State Building, and even caught a baseball game. Times Square, with all its bright lights and billboards, made Vegas look like a tiny town. After almost a month on the road, we finally made it back home. I was exhausted but so happy. This summer adventure was the best thing that's ever happened to me. I made so many incredible memories that I'll never forget. I can't wait to go on another big trip next year!Well, that's my story. Traveling is the best way to learn about new places and cultures. If you ever get the chance to go on an epic adventure like I did, you have to take it! Trust me, you won't regret it one bit. Thanks for reading, and happy trails!篇3My Awesome Summer VacationYay, summer vacation is finally here! No more waking up super early and going to school. Summer means fun, fun, and more fun! This summer, my family went on the best trip ever. We drove way far away to a place called Yellowstone National Park. It took forever to get there in the car, but it was totally worth it.Yellowstone is huge and has so many amazing things to see and do. My favorite part was definitely the geysers and hotsprings. They were so cool! The most famous geyser is called Old Faithful. It shoots steaming hot water way up into the air every 90 minutes. Watching it erupt was incredible. The water just keeps blasting higher and higher. It's like a natural fountain, but better! The hot springs were beautiful too. The water in them is heated deep underground by the Earth's heat. That's why it's so warm. But the best part about the hot springs is all the vivid colors - bright blues, oranges, yellows, and greens. The colors come from different types of bacteria and minerals in the water. It's like Mother Nature's painting! We also went hiking on some of the park's trails. The scenery was breathtaking with massive rocky mountains, lush green forests, and fields full of wildflowers. Spotting wildlife was the highlight though. We saw massive buffalo just roaming around. They were humongous! We also spotted elk and even a grizzly bear from really far away. Seeing animals in the wild like that was an unforgettable experience. At night, we went to the ranger campfire programs. Park rangers taught us all about the park's history, geology, plants, and animals. They even did fun skits acting out stories of the early explorers and Native Americans connected to Yellowstone.Listening to the rangers under a sky full of bright stars was so cool.My grandparents came with us too. Camping was really hard work for them, so they stayed in one of the park's big rustic lodges. We visited them there and it was like stepping back in time. Everything was built of huge logs and the decor had a real Wild West vibe. I felt like a cowboy! On our last day, we drove up to Yellowstone's most famous spot - the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. It's not the real Grand Canyon, but it's still massively huge and gorgeous. The rocky canyon has a windiing river at the bottom and towering cliffs on both sides. Powerful waterfalls tumble over the edges too. We hiked a trail that took us right along the edge. The views were simply epic. All good things must come to an end though. We finally had to leave and head home after the best week ever at Yellowstone.I was sad for the vacation to be over, but absolutely thrilled to have had such an awesome adventure.I'll never forget the sights and experiences at Yellowstone. It really is like a wonderland of natural magic. The geysers blasting steam, the rainbow colored hot springs, the wild animals roaming freely, the starry nights, and the jaw-dropping canyonsand waterfalls - it was all so incredibly amazing. I feel so lucky to have visited such an extraordinary and special place like Yellowstone. It's definitely at the very top of my list of favorite family vacations ever. In fact, it's going to be pretty much impossible to top!篇4My Summer Vacation AdventuresSummer vacation is the best time of the year! No more school, no more homework, no more waking up early. Just lots of time to play and have fun! This summer was extra special because my family went on two amazing trips. I had so many exciting adventures that I can't wait to tell you all about them! Our first trip was to the beach. We drove for what felt like forever, but I didn't mind because I love road trips. I brought tons of toys and books to keep me entertained in the car. When we finally got there, I was so excited to see the ocean! The water was this beautiful blue-green color and the waves were huge. My brother and I spent hours playing in the surf and building sandcastles. We even found some really cool seashells to take home as souvenirs. At night, we would have campfires right on the beach. We roasted marshmallows and told spooky ghost stories. One night, we saw a meteor shower and made wishes on all the shooting stars. It was magical! We also went mini golfing, explored tide pools to look for little critters, and went on a dolphin watching cruise. I loved every minute of our beach vacation. After a week at the beach, we headed home for a few days before going on our next adventure – a road trip to the mountains! The drive took forever again, but the scenery was just gorgeous with all the trees and hills. We saw deer just casually strolling across the road! Once we got to our cabin in the woods, we went hiking every day on different trails. We spotted woodpeckers, squirrels, and even a family of bears from a safe distance! One day, we took a horseback riding lesson and got to ride horses through the forest. That was a little scary at first since the horses were so big, but it ended up being really fun. We also went whitewater rafting down a rushing river, which was equal parts thrilling and terrifying. The rafting guides had us paddle really hard and we got completely soaked from the gigantic splashes! My arms were sore for days after that.In the evenings, we'd come back to the cabin and roasts'mores over the firepit while exploring the woods around our cabin with flashlights to look for fireflies and other critters. We heard coyotes howling a few times, which was pretty neat but also a little creepy. I didn't want to run into any coyotes myself! On our last night there, we had a festive cookout with hamburgers, hot dogs, and all the fixings. We played cornhole and Can Jam outside until it got too dark to see. Those two trips made for such an amazing, eventful summer.I got to experience so many cool things that I'd never gotten to do before. I have so many wonderful memories from swimming in the ocean, going whitewater rafting, hiking in the mountains, and exploring nature. Summer may be over, but I'm already counting down the days until next year's vacation! Who knows what incredible adventures await?篇5My Summer VacationHello! My name is Lily and I'm 9 years old. I just finished 3rd grade and I'm on summer vacation now. I love summer because there's no school and I can play outside all day. This summer wasreally fun! I got to go on a big trip with my family. Let me tell you all about it.At the start of summer, my mom and dad told me and my little brother Tommy that we were going on a road trip! Tommy and I were so excited. We love going on trips, especially road trips because we get to look out the window and see new places. We packed up our minivan with all our suitcases and snacks and games for the drive. We even brought my dog Rufus! The first day we drove for 6 whole hours. Tommy and I took turns looking out the window. I saw so many cows and horses on farms. And there were big mountains too, which was really cool. After driving all day, we finally made it to our first stop - the Grand Canyon! Have you ever been there? It's this humongous hole in the ground that's like a giant red and orange crater. We went on a little hiking trail and I could see down into the canyon. It looked like a desert down there with rocks and shrubs everywhere. Our guide told us the Grand Canyon was formed by a river cutting through the rock over millions of years. Isn't that crazy? The next morning, we got back in the van and kept driving west. We spent another whole day just watching the scenery go by out the windows. I saw lots of desert with cacti andtumbleweeds rolling across the road. Then we started going up into some mountains and there were pine trees everywhere. It smelled so fresh and clean, totally different than back home. Finally, after two very long days of driving, we arrived in California! We were staying right near the beach in a city called San Diego. I had never seen the ocean before, except for in movies. When we first got there, we could smell the salty air and hear the waves crashing. The next day, we went down to the beach and I got to put my feet in the Pacific Ocean! The water was freezing cold but I didn't care. I loved feeling the waves wash up over my legs. We spent the whole day at the beach. We went swimming, built sandcastles, and buried Tommy in the sand (sorry Tommy!). For dinner, we ate fish tacos from a restaurant right on the boardwalk. They were so yummy! I tried putting hot sauce on mine like a real California girl. The day after that, we went to San Diego Zoo. We saw so many cool animals - lions, giraffes, elephants, and pandas! My favorite were the gorillas because they're so big and muscular but also kind of silly and goofy looking. We went on a zoo tour in a open-air bus and our guide told us all about the different habitats and animals. Did you know gorillas are super strong and can lift over 1,800 pounds? That's like lifting 30 of me!After a few fun days in San Diego, we packed up again and started the long drive home. This time we took a different route through the desert in Arizona and New Mexico. We saw some really bizarre rock formations that looked like aliens could live there. We also passed through a few small towns that seemed frozen in time from the 1800s. We stopped for the night in Santa Fe which had the cutest little plaza with markets selling jewelry, arts, and crafts. Finally, after a week and over 2,000 miles of driving, we made it back home. I was so happy to sleep in my own bed again, but I already can't wait for our next big family road trip! This summer was an amazing adventure full of new sights and experiences I'll never forget.Well, that's the story of my awesome summer vacation. We crammed in so much in just a week and a half - the Grand Canyon, California beaches, the zoo, desert landscapes, and more. I feel like I learned just as much this summer as I do in school, but in a much more fun way! Thanks for reading about my trip. I hope you get to go on an epic road trip adventure soon too. See you next year in 4th grade!篇6My Life in Elementary SchoolHello everyone! My name is Xiaoming and I'm a 5th grader at Sunshine Elementary School. I'm here today to tell you all about my life as an elementary student. It's been quite an adventure so far!I still remember my very first day of 1st grade like it was yesterday. I was so nervous walking into that big school building for the first time. Everything seemed so huge compared to me! The hallways, the classrooms, even the desks and chairs. I felt like a tiny little bug. But my teacher, Miss Wang, had the warmest smile that immediately put me at ease.Over the first few weeks, I quickly made a bunch of new friends in my class. Liang Liang, Xiaoxiao and Dandan are still my best buddies to this day. We have so much fun together during recess playing jump rope, hop scotch and chasseing each other around the playground. Sometimes we get in a little trouble for being too rowdy, but we're just full of youthful energy! What can I say?My favorite part of each school day is when we get to learn new things through songs, games and activities. I really enjoy English class in particular. Repeating those quirky English phrases feels like I'm speaking a secret language. I dream oftraveling to places like America and England someday to use my English skills. How cool would that be?Every month or so, our school will hold a special assembly where we get to see amazing performances by our talented classmates. Some play instruments like the erhu or pipa. Others show off their singing voices or traditional dancing skills. A few kids even do comedy routines that have the whole auditorium roaring with laughter! I'm always in awe of how multitalented my peers are.One of the things I cherish most about elementary school is the close bonds I've formed with my classmates and teachers. We're like one big happy family always looking out for each other. Whenever I'm having a rough day, they're there to lend an ear and cheer me up. And you better believe I return the favor whenever someone else needs my support!Every year around Children's Day, we get to go on a fun field trip together. We've visited wonderful places like the zoo, aquarium, science museum and even a chocolate factory! Sharing those memorable experiences with my friends and teachers is something I'll carry with me forever. Those field trips make me incredibly excited for all the other amazing adventures that still await me in the future. While elementary school life isn't always a walk in the park, it's still been one of the most rewarding chapters of my young life so far. I've learned so much about the world around me and forged friendships that will last a lifetime. Sure, there's been occasional frustrations like difficult tests, strict teachers and rocky social situations. But isn't that all just part of the growing experience? In just one more year, I'll be graduating from elementary school and heading off to middle school for start of a brand new journey. While I'm definitely apprehensive about that big transition, I'm trying to stay positive and make the most of my remaining time here. After all, elementary school has thoroughly prepared me to take on any challenge head-on with diligence and perseverance. Before I know it, I'll be looking back fondly on these days as some of the most innocent, carefree and magical years of my childhood. So I'm going to soak up every moment to the fullest while I still can. Who knows what sorts of thrilling opportunities and possibilities await me next? One thing's for sure - this is just the start of my adventure towards becoming my best self. The world better watch out, because Xiaoming has arrived!。

Littering is still a serious problem. In addition,it’s not unusual to hear someone speaking loudly on their cellphones in public places. Worse still, you can even find silly things written by some tourists in scenic spots. As far as I’m concerned, everyone should learn to become a responsible citizen. We must be aware the way we behave in public places will affect others. As long as we kick our bad habits and care about others,we will make a great difference to our society.六套Dear Editor,I’m a sen ior high school student, namedLiHua.Now it’s fashionable for many students to have ing an iPad,we can listen to music, download a lot of learning materials and read them on the screen.Apparently,it’s helpful to our study, especially to our English listening. Some students, however, bring their iPad to the classroom listening to music with earphones or even playing video games, which makes teachers and other students greatly annoyed. In my opinion, the classroom is a place for students to study in,and concentration is awfully needed for us.Therefor, we should make good use of iPad to help achieve academic success. Meanwhile, schools should make a rule to guide the students to use iPad in a proper way.Yours sincerely,January15th,2013Dear Sir,I feel bad to trouble you, but I’m afraid that I have to make a complaint about the new mobile phone that I purchased from your store.I bought a Nokia5820 mobile phone from your store for about 2,100 yuan early this month. It was less than a week after I used it that I found something wrong with it. I couldn’t turn on the phone. I tried many times but failed. Although I have repaired it twice, it still doesn’t work. This problem has affected my normal life. Would you please let me know whether I could return the mobile phone to you for a replacement or could get my refund? I hope my problem will get your kindconsideration.Looking forward to your early reply.Sincerely yoursJennyLi Hua八套Dear Ms.Sullivan,I’m Li Hua a middle school student from China. Now I’d like to share my experience inpracticing oral English.Firstly, I’m always confident and brave. I seize every opportunity to speak, not afraid of making mistakes which may embarrass me. I also find it of great benefit to take oral in English corner, where I make many friends. By talking with them, my oral English has improved a lot. Finally, some English programs like CCTV-9 contribute to the progress in my speaking ability. Through this channel, not only am I kept informed of the current events going on both at home and abroad, but I also learn the standard pronunciation and intonation(语调) by repeated imitation(模仿).Practice makes perfect, as the saying goes. Our hard work will finally be rewarded if we can stick to(坚持)it. 十六套:Mind Your Behavior in Public Places As is seen from the drawing, when walking with his mother in the street, a boy finds two persons walking on the lawn(草坪), totally ignoring the sign “Keep off the lawn!”He says to his mother,“Don’t the uncle and the aunt understand the words on the sign?”Such behavior left me deep in thought. The two persons step on the lawn just for convenience but they lose their civic virtue(公民道德). It is our duty to obey the principle(法则). And adults should set good examples to children. As we know, kids generally do as adults do. Let’s call on everybody to obey public rules. Only in this way can we build up a harmonious(和谐) as well as orderly society.十七套:High school is regarded as the best time of my life. Besides, classes and homework, there’s something more that I especially treasure. In order to leave school with no regrets, 我将充分利用我有限的学校时间去复习我学过的课程,与此同时,我想表达对所有老师的感激之情,他们在过去的三年给了我如此多的帮助。
