语法专题八：倒装

1. 完全倒装：即将谓语动词的全部置于主语之前。常见用法：

1).用于therebe句型。如：

There are many students in the classroom．

2)．用于“here(there，now，then)+不及物动词+主语”的句型中，或以out，in，up，down，away等副词开头的句子里，以表示强调。如：

Here comes the bus．There goes the bell．

Now comes your turn．Out went the childten．

注意：代词作主语时，主谓语序不变。如：Here it is．Here he comes.

3)将表示地点、方位的介词短语置于句首；

South of the city lies a big steel factory．

In front of the house sat a boy.

4)直接引语置于句首，其后的主语是名词时。"I am a student."Said the boy.

5)表语置于句首时，倒装结构为“表语+连系动词+主语”。

Present at the meeting were Professor White，Professor Smith and many other guests．

2. 部分倒装：即将谓语动词的一部分置于主语之前（如助动词be, do, have, will，

和情态动词may, can, must, should 等）。常见用法：

1)否定词或词组如never, nowhere, not, seldom, rarely, scarcely, barely, hardly, no sooner, at no

time, in no case, in no way, by no means, on no condition 等置于句首时；

Never before have I seen such a wonderful film.

Little does he care about his own safety.

Hardly had he got home when it began to rain.

By no means will she agree to our plan for the trip.

2)so 表示“也”，neither/ nor表示“也不”；

He is a student. So am I (或So it is with me. /It is the same with me. )

He isn’t a student. Neither (Nor) am I. (也可说So it is with me. /It is the same with me. )

He likes swimming,so do I.

He doesn't like swimming.neither do I.

so / such… that 表示“那样……以至于”置于句首时；

So good is the book that we all like to read it.

So tired was he.

So heavily was it raining!

So shallow is the lake

3)only + 状语/ 状从，置于句首时, 主句要部分倒装；

Only when you realize the importance of foreign languages can you learn them well.

Only after liberation did they begin to be treated as human beings.

Only by working hard can you succeed.

注意：当only + 主语置于句首时，则用正常语序。

4) not only …but also…引导两个分句时，not only 引导的分句要部分倒装；but also 不倒装Not only can he speak English, but also he can speak Japanese.

5)not until + 状语/ 状从，“直到……才”，置于句首时，主句要部分倒装；

Not until the rain stopped did he go home.。

6) adj. / adv. / n. / v. / 分词+ as / though + 主语+ 谓语：引导让步状从，置于句首时；

Poor as he is, he is honest.

如果从句的表语是名词，其名词前不加任何冠词。如：

Child as he is，he knows a lot.

此种倒装中可用as，也可用though，但不能用although．

7) 在虚拟语气的条件句中，如含should, had, were, 可将它们置于句首，且省略if；如：正常语序的句子：If I were not so busy，I should go with you.

If it had not been for the free tickets, I would not have gone to the films so often.

可变成以下倒装句：

Were I not so busy，I should go with you.

Had it not been for the free tickets, I would not have gone to the films so often.

(8)用于：May + 主语+ v. 结构中，表示“祝愿”；

May you succeed!
