46:Good afternoon, everyone. This is CCTV 10. We are the journalists form Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation. I’m Scarlett.58: I’m Shirley. We are now at the DeJi cinema conducting a survey. 46: During the summer vacation, most of my students choose to spend their leisure time in cinemas. The new trend of cinema-going habits attracts our attention and we would like to learn more about young people’s movie-going habits.58: In this case, having a more comprehensive knowledge of students' movie-going habits can also promote the development of movie industry. 46: Now let’s interview some students. Excuse me, we are conducting a survey on movies. Could we ask you some questions?35:Sure, go ahead.46: Thanks a lot. First, which film have you just watched?42:Avengers 2. We watched the preview and were deeply attracted by this film.58: The Avengers seem to be a popular movie among teenagers. So, how often do you go to the movies? Are you a regular visitor?35: Well, no, not very often. Probably only once every couple of months. We are busy with study most of the time. With such heavy schoolwork, movies are a great luxury to senior ones like us.46: Understood. Indeed, students should devote more time into study instead of spending too much time on movies. Well, Avergers is one ofthose adventure movies right? So, what sort of movies are you into? Adventure ones?42: No, actually, I like romantic movies the most. I especially like the Titanic. I was deeply moved by the pure love between Jack and Rose and their desire to freedom. Every time I watch the film, I can’t help feeling sad and bursting into tears.58: Scarlett and I also love this classical film very much. I couldn’t deny that Titanic is the most touching film I have ever watched.46: What about you? Which kind of movie do you favor?35: Movies like the Iron Man and Captain America. I prefer movies with spectacular scenes and wonderful special effects. Those are fantastic! 46: Couldn’t agree more. I also like the super hero film series from Marvel Company. OK, next question, how do you generally find out about new movie releases? Do you read movie reviews or listen to the advice of friends?42: Well, neither. It’s movie posters posted in bus stations and subway stations that easily capture my attention.35: As for me, I probably get most of my info about new movies from some movie applications on my phone.58: I see. Who do you usually go to the movies with? Your family members maybe?42: No, my best company is of course Harry, my best friend. We’vewatched over 20 films together.35: By the way, Forrest always drags me to some romantic films or dramas. I’m always trying my best to adapt those kinds of films.42: But action movies sometimes are a little bit superficial.35: Hey, how can you say that? You think dramas like Tiny Times are meaningful?46: OK, OK. Everyone has different tastes. We should think more of our friends.58: Oh, by the way, do you pay for your tickets at the box office or in another way?42: We like using the new web service, like Alipay. The service is so easy and convenient that it can save us the time of queuing.35: But I don't trust that way…I mean I don't think it's safe.42: You should follow the quick development of technology.46: Guys, either way is OK. I think different ways have different advantages.58: One additional question. Recently, there were many entertaining films like Running Man film version. What do you think of them?46: Most of them were adapted from entertainment programmes and they were welcomed by many teenagers.35: I don't think those films worth watching. Those films are meaningless, totally a waste of money.42: I agree. Maybe those teenagers just want to see their idols on the big screen. Nothing more, end of story.46: So you won't spend money watching those films? You're quite different from most of the teenagers.58: I see. Thank you very much for your time and patience.35&42: You’re welcome.46: Well, let us sum up the outcome of a total of 100 surveys conducted in Deji Plaza. Most of the students are busy with their schoolwork and only visit cinemas occasionally on holiday days or special situations. 58: As to movie types, most girls admit they enjoy romantic movies very much while some boys also agree. Meanwhile, the majority of boys would yet choose action and adventure movies over the rest.46: The mean channels for students to acquire info on newly released movies are advertisements on phones, television, billboard and other common media. However movie reviews seem to be outdated among senior school students.58: And the payment methods vary from person to person. But the popular way still lies in phone payment. That should wrap up our program. Thanks very much.。

The first thing is to be honest about how much time for you can devote to your pet. Dogs are very demanding. You need to take them for walks and they love to play. Cats, on the other hand, are more independent. A: I’m fairly busy, so I really need an animal that I don’t need to care of very much. Actually, I’d like a pet that’s a little unusual. I don't’ real ly want a typical pet, like a cat, dog, or hamster. Do you have any suggestions?B: unusual pet are often more expensive to keep. Is that a problem?A: not really. By the way, I don’t want a pet that could be dangerous, like a tarantula or rattlesnake.B: we have those, but I only sell them to people I know well, for obvious reasons. How about a lizard? I have some that are verybrightly coloured, are not aggressive, and are easy to feed and look after.A: that sounds ideal. Could you show me some?B: sure. Come over here. As you can see, I have a wide selection of species. They can live together, if you want lizards of different kinds. Do you have a favourite colour?A: I like the red one. What do they eat?B: you can feed them on various things. They will eat small pieces of meat, but I’d recommend insects. You can get them from your garden, but remember that lizards eat a lot insects. I sell them there.A: thanks a lot. What I’ll do si find out more online and drop by next time.B: that’s fine. You shouldn’t make a hasty decision when choosing a pet.。

Duan: Today we will discuss something about "Hobbies". We know that a hobby is defined as an activity done regularly in one's leisure time for pleasure. Everyone spends time and energy on hobbies, and they can make our life more colorful. Who would like to the first to share his hobby? Liu: I have many hobbies, such as fishing. I like fishing not because I like to eat fish but because I enjoy the wonderful time while I am fishing. Fishing can let me contact with nature closely, breathe the fresh air and purify my soul. Mostly, fishing cultivates my patience. What is your hobby, Zhao jinkun? Zhao: My hobby is playing The Three Kill game, and I like it very much. That's a desktop game which is so popular among students. There's lots of interesting in playing it. You can just play several times and you will learn it, it's very easy to learn its rules. How about you xiaoke and Dengqiong? Duan: En, My hobby is playing ping-pong. Zhang JiKe is my favorite table tennis champion. To play table tennis can improve my response speed. The most important thing is that playing ping-pong can build up my body and make me feel relax. Deng: Reading is one of my few hobbies. Actually, it is after I entered the college I began to read a lot. Liu: What do you mean by few? Deng: When I was a little girl, I have many hobbies, such as dancing, singing and drawing. But then I found it is difficult to keep these hobbies after I started my primary school. Duan: Yes, I understand. Because in Chinese schools, we only learn math, Chinese, English and some other subjects that will be the examination subject in the university entrance exam. Deng: As I entered the university, I have enough time but I found that it is too difficult to pick up those hobbies. Liu: What a pity! Zhao: So I guess you turned your interests to reading because it is much easier for you to hold it. Deng: Yes, and also I think it is a very helpful hobby as reading gives a man a certain charm and flavor. Liu: So it is. As Bacon said that histories make men wise; poets witty; the mathematics subtitle; natural philosophy deep; moral grave; logic and rhetoric able to contend. Reading is really a comfortable thing. Deng: I also like listening to the music and watching movies. I think it can make me relax. When I feel nervous, sad or under pressure, I will listen to music or ask someone to see a film. It is a very good way to release from a bad mood. Zhao: The point is these hobbies are both easy to us which would not take too much time. I feel the same thing about my hobbies. I gave up many hobbies when I started my school life. Duan: I think this is mainly caused by our Chinese educational patterns, which is weak in training students’ awareness of innovation, creative thinking and practical capability. With the development of society, people enjoy various hobbies in their daily life to relax and enrich themselves, but in the meanwhile, the higher press and shrinked leisure time force them to give up many of them, it’s a pity. Liu: Although we can still try to stick with our hobbies as they are so important to us. Deng:Everyone has a variety of hobbies, like basketball, computer games, shopping, eating and so on. Hobby is a part of our life, when we do something that we are interested in, we will feel joyful and satisfied. Liu: Yes, hobby is very important for our personality development. It’s good for our live, work, and study to cultivate good hobby. But what are these benefits? Duan: for our students, there is a lot of courses and too much homework every day. But beyond that, we need to finish the experimental task that our tutor order us to do. Sometimes we feel that life is very nervous. But in the course of nervous learning, we can do something that we are interested in ,it will make us forget nervous temporarily. To devote ourselves to something nice that can make our heart peace. Zhao: Well, that’s good. Some hobbies can provide us some opportunities to know a lot of friends. Sometimes we do something on our own, we will feel lonely and boring. We need someone to share with us, like :playing basketball、computer game and so on. It‘s because of that we all have the same hobbies, so we can have a lot of topic to communicate. Liu: Friends are very important to us, especially the like-minded friends. They will make us feel emotional resonance. I think hobbies can increase our extracurricular knowledge and skills. The simplest example is that someone like reading, he will read many aspects of books consist of science, natural, novels, magazines and so on. When he chats with others, he can tell others something interesting and attractive. In the pacific study and work, he will solve a lot of problems by using the accumulated knowledge. Deng: I think hobbies can not only increase our knowledge, but also improve our confidence. For example, someone sings very well, people would appreciate her singing then she will feel recognized. Someone plays ball games well, when play with others, he would be the most popular teammate, and always get the attacking full back role because others trust him, and the trust would make him feel confident. zhao: Yes. Everyone needs its own hobbies, but we don’t need to speed too much time, energy and money on them, because we have our own work to do. Hobbies are just the way to enjoy our free time and enrich ourselves. duan: I can’t agree with you more. More time, energy and money on hobbies may give too much burden on us from many ways. For example, over-indulgence in physical exercise can do more harm than good. I have noticed that some of my friends spend too much time on sports make themselves too tired to stay awake during the class. Liu: more worse it’s that, the unhealthy culture and development of hobbies may lead to some of people falling in addiction to some harmful hobbies. Many young men in internet smoking or alcohol addiction are also a big issue in society. Deng: so the best way to benefit us is to balance our work and hobbies. This is our discussion above. We talked about everyone’s hobby, and discuss the benefit of hobby.
