Unit 3 I’m more outgoing than my sister黄群芬单元文本解读：一．整体设计思路，指导依据说明本单元通过“Personal traits”这一话题再现了已有的语言项目，从自己讲到他人，从家人讲到朋友，通过比较把形容词和副词比较级这一语法点贯穿其中，使感性的语言材料和语法知识浑然一体，相辅相成。
本单元出现的语言材料，如人物的外貌特征、性格特征，在七年级下册第九单元中就重点提到过，在本单元中对已有的语言项目进行拓展，通过讨论选择何种个性的朋友，提高学生的认知能力、思维能力。
二．教学背景分析1. 教学内容分析：本单元以描述某人的个性特征为中心而展开, 从外表和性格两方面比较人物之间的相同与不同点, 由此引出taller, shorter, thinner, longer, heavier, calmer, wilder, quieter, funnier, more athletic, more popular, more serious, more outgoing 等词汇, 以及“S + be + adj.比较级+than+被比较对象”这个重要的句子结构。
Section A部分重在要求听说读三个方面比较不同双胞胎之间外表和性格的区别, 附带着在3a也提出了as….as 结构the same as结构表达两人的相同之处。
与Section A 部分比较, Section B部分则深入到比较自己和朋友的相同与不同之处, 并提出了“选择朋友”这个话题, 引导学生正确评价朋友, 引导学生结识真正的好朋友。
2. 学生情况分析：通过七年级的学习，尤其是下册中对人物外貌特征的描述，部分学生已具备了较强的听说能力，并期望在课堂上有更多的语言输入和输出。
而部分学生可能因基础较差，没有信心开口说英语，教师需花更多的精力调动其学习热情。
针对不同的学习需求，教师在设计课堂教学任务时必须注重基础语言材料并在此基础上作适当拓展。
