基于话题的中考英语阶段复习策略

2017年中考在即,如何高效地搞好九年级毕业班的英语考前复习,掌握新课程理念的中考命题趋向,准确把握《课程标准》命题精髓,总结交流备考经验是关键,因为善于把握事物的规律,正确判断事物的动向,我们就会事半功倍,取得最后的成功。结合目前农村中学英语的教学现状和学生的知识认知水平,按照济宁市《初中学业水平考试说明与指导》(英语)的标准,我们制定了基于话题的复习策略。

一、话题的确定

根据人教版《新目标》初中英语五册教材所涉及到的内容,《初中学业水平考试说明与指导》(英语)对教材进行了归纳,整理出十六个话题,它们依次为:

二、课时的划分

根据《初中学业水平考试说明与指导》(英语)的编排指导要求,中考复

习分为三轮:第一轮:教材复习;第二轮:专项复习;第三轮:模拟训练。其中第一轮的教材复习就是基于话题,把初中五册教材重新整合成16个话题。针对第一轮的教材复习,也叫阶段复习,我们把每一章划分为三课时:第一课词汇复习课,内容包括每一章的单元概要,课标要求,交际用语和阶段评估中的单词拼写题;第二课时语法复习课,包括热点聚焦和阶段评估中的单项选择题和用所给动词的适当形式填空题;第三课时话题材料的阅读和写作课,内容包括阶段评估中的完形填空、阅读理解和书面表达题。

三、采用话题复习的现实意义

1、能使语言复现的习得性成为可能

复习课容易炒冷饭,这是大家有目共睹的。有了以话题为主线的复习课堂,学生将在语境中复习和巩固所学的语言知识。话题给学生提供了语言习得的机会。以话题为中心的英语复习,使任务与活动,技能与知识以及语言运用都有了依托。没有话题,交际功能与语言知识就是干巴巴的一个个条目。话题是语言复现具有习得性不可缺少的媒介。

2、有助于提高英语复习课的趣味性

现行使用新版的初中英语课程标准中有24个话题,每个话题都有其特殊的文化内涵和教育意义。基于课本,再高于课本的话题材料的重新编写,使教学内容常教常新,有利于课堂的激趣性。我们经过总结、归纳,把这24个话题整理成16个话题,供学生复习提高。

3、有利于提高学生对语言知识系统运用的能力

目前大部分复习用书上只能做到语法的系统归纳,语言结构是通过条目归纳的,这使得语用功能散失殆尽。然而以话题为主线的复习模式中有了语言的

交际功能,因此语言结构的语用性便突显出来。不仅激活了原有的知识,并对知识进行了梳理,编织知识的网络,使得网络式的语言知识结构在应用中得到巩固和提升。

4、有助于提高学生综合运用语言的能力

基于话题的中考复习将围绕话题展开词汇、句子、篇章、写作复习,学生通过生活化的话题的听、说、读、写等各项语言技能训练,理性地、系统性地应用已学知识来体验语言学习过程,综合性地、高层次地使用所学知识来解决现实问题,他们的综合运用语言能力将会迅速提升。

5、能打造高效的中考英语复习课堂

传统复习用书编排模式是按原单元顺序进行整合,各单元之间无论在内容还是语法上联系都不太紧密,复习显得很杂乱无章,且复习的内容多、容量大,在时间紧的情况下无法完成复习内容,低效的课堂就显现出来。但基于话题的整合复习,其内容、知识结构、知识应用等能自然整合,思路清晰,语用性强,且容量缩小,而复习的面不变,从而使初中英语总复习的高质和高效成为可能。

6、有助于提高学生复习效率,提高学业水平

我们将2015年、2016年济宁市初中毕业生学业考试说明与前几年年的进行了比对,发现考试内容比例发生了明显的变化,对学生的语言综合语言能力要求高了。而通过基于话题的复习取代原有的题海战术,对学生的综合语言运用能力的培养无疑提供了一个极佳的平台,能够让学生顺利通过中考,并能升入理想的高中。

四、各课时的基本流程

第一课时词汇复习课

“新课标”倡导在应用中学习词汇,并注重初中英语教学的趣味性。以话题为基础的初中英语词汇教学是提高学生兴趣的有效方式。它对在新课标背景下探究初中英语词汇趣味教学策略具有很重要的意义。

长期以来,记忆和运用词汇是英语学习的重要组成部分,而英语词汇的记忆历来是英语教学中令人头疼的一大问题。在我国,学生普遍反应单词不认识,记不牢,遗忘率高,不会灵活应用等问题。初中英语词汇是为英语学习打下坚实基础的关键,因而它的重要性也不言而喻。然而,由于农村初中生英语学习能力有限,英语水平较低,通常采取死记硬背、机械训练为特征的被动式记忆词汇的学习方式,使得记忆单词难上加难。他们的英语水平也很低。

我们第一课时的词汇复习课,就是让学生利用和本章话题有关的句型、对话把这些词汇串起来、用起来,新课标的基本要求就是培养学生运用英语的能力。以下以《第十二章健康与天气》第一课时听说课为例说一下词汇课流程:

一、教材分析:

1、教材内容:七年级下:Unit6 It’s raining!

八年级上:Unit2 What’s the matter?

本话题重在引导学生复习涉及健康与天气的有关词汇、短语及句型。一年按季节的变化分为四季,由四季引出了每个季节的天气特征,景色变化以及人们的衣着、户外活动等相关内容,最终将复习天气的重点落在学生能够准确

用英语描写健康与天气的话题。

2、学情分析:

面对初三学生英语成绩两极分化严重这一事实,在复习过程中,注重知识的反复与归纳,采取科学有效的小组合作方式。以求在较短的时间之内,让学困生在英语学习中找到方向,从而实现英语成绩的提高。

二、教学目标:

1、知识目标

复习运用有关健康与天气的词汇、句型(单元概要中语言目标、重点词汇和常用短语)。

2、能力目标

(1)能够用英语描述天气、气温、衣着、景色变化以及人物活动等;

(2)准确用英语描写健康与天气的话题:如就医、谈论天气,表达忧虑、遗憾,并能用英语安慰别人;

(3)能够听懂有关天气的语篇,并能从中提取信息。

3、情感目标

通过复习,让学生注意天气变化,呵护自身健康,学会关爱他人。

三、教学重点:

理解并运用描述健康与天气的词汇。

用英语描写健康与天气的话题。

作业设计:Mike 是你班的一位来自澳大利亚的同学,他患了感冒,去药店买来一盒药。但他看不懂汉语的服用说明。于是他把说明书放在离你(Li Hua)是桌子上,想请你帮他翻译一下。请根据韩语的药品说明,给Mike译成汉语,并就如何保持健康提几点建议。

第二课时语法课

语法教学是英语教学的基础,学生对语法知识的掌握也一直是外语学习中的一个难题。常听一些老师牢骚满腹,说这么简单的你还不会,给你讲了多少遍了你还是没记住?怎么连这个都不知道?这些状况都缘于学生对语法没有进行系统的学习和掌握。在新授课的语法教学中,学生学习的往往是零碎的语法,不系统。所以学生掌握起来往往很费气力,运用起来更是问题百出。基于话题的语法复习课,就是把和该话题有关的各个单元的语法内容串联起来,结合历年中考试题中相关的试题进行解析,以考点呈现,然后用知识拓展系统讲解,最后利用经典荟萃及时巩固。
