Nowadays, there is often a lack of understanding between parents and children. Children always complain that their parents are out of date, while parents can’t approve of what their children say and do. Thus, a big generation gap is formed.

The gap remains wide for many reasons. Children want to be free to choose their own friends, select their own classes in school, plan their own future, earn and spend their own money, and generally run their own life in a more independent way than many parents allow. Also, young children wish to be understood by their parents, but most parents don’t quite understand their children. They regard it as their responsibility to teach their offspring traditional beliefs. They want them to be obedient and do well in school. Therefore, misunderstanding often arise from parents’tendency to interfere in children’s daily activities.

In my opinion, most problems between parents and children could be solved by joint efforts of both sides to enhance mutual understanding.

Internet is more and more important as well as more and more popular in today's life.We can do many things with the help of Internet.We may search for information about sport or watching movies.We even can go shopping when we remain within doors.The things which most make me excited is that we needn't queue to buy train tickets which save our time to do other things.

According to this situation to develop,Internet can create more moracles.For instance,patients can be rescued by group consultation. As for as we know,there are many escaped criminals who are perpetrate every conceivable crime and are unpardonably wicked.But they may be captured if policemen use the Internet to hair wanted.

Now,we can deeply appreciate that our life can't leave Internet.Without Internet,our life will be brought a lot of inconvenience.So I think that Internet will be an important part in tomorrow's life.

Along with the development of our education, today most universities have offered various electives for students to choose and study. However, some people claim that these elective courses have very little effect on spreading knowledge and students’development because what students concern about when choosing electives are so different.

There are various kinds of reasons for choosing electives and I list some in here. Primarily, the most important and wide factor students concern about is the teachers of the courses. Instead considering the quality of the teacher, or the form or style of the teacher will take or act in the course, they just want to make sure that the teacher they choose will never keep trace of their attendance and let them fail in their exams. In addition, a large number of students choose their elective courses aiming to get a high score but never consider what they will learn and how to apply to it. What’s worse, some students choose their electives just they are forced by their schools’institution demand and their score need.

As far as I am concerned, I advocate that the most important thing we should concern about when choosing electives is our personal interests. The most worthy meaning for these electives is to broaden our horizon and extend our knowledge as much as possible and to

complement our major and compulsory courses. Therefore, what electives we choose should be in accordance with our interests and our career planning instead of aiming to make high score or pass the exam.

As we all known that thrift is the traditional virtue of Chinese people, but with the improvement of living standards, we eat better and dress better ,we begin to enjoy and start to waste, money, time, even our health ,then there has been a words over the question that thrift is not a good virtue in nowadays.

But there are some people who don’t agree with them ,they think that the improvement of living level doesn’t mean to waste. On the contrary, we should be even more saving because our rescoure are limited ,we should set a long sight and develop our good tradition.

In my opinion ,thrift is a good virtue forever even our living standards improved ,not only because of the resources we used are restricted but also because of we should value highly our fortune, we still have a long way to go ,the earth and the later generations also need us to thrift everything.

Recently there has been a heated discussion about whether the national college English test band 4/band 6 is necessary or not. Some teachers, students and authorities are in favor of it. To begin with, they hold that it is an effective way to raise the level of English in our country. Besides, they hold that it may stimulate / motivate the teachers to improve their teaching and urge students to attach more importance to English so as to improve their communicative skills .

However, others hold an opposite point of view. They maintain that this kind of test does not help to improve the students’actual ability in mastering the language, but only conduces to their acquiring some techniques to deal with the best. I've had quite a lot of lessons in my school life。Among them the one given by an American is most unforgettable。

The phenomenon of keeping pets is nothing strange nowadays. And when it comes to the topic if it’s good for people to keep pets, people have different kinds of opinions.

Some people assume that it’s good to keep pets in the house, especially for the olds. The pets can keep them company as well as make them feel safe. Nowadays, alomost every family has a dog or a cat as a pet.Because the can bring us happinese.When we have something uahappy and don't want to tell anyone else,we can always talk with our pets,though perhaps they don't understand at all.But if we do so ,we will fell much better,especially when we're alone.When adults are busy and have no time to look after their parents.A pet will always a best present to the olds.But,keeping a pet will also bring us quite a lot trouble.For example,most pets are very dirty and they have a lot of diseases with them which will make us ill.Sometimes a dog will bite someone who may just want to touch it to express his friendship.In this way pets will also make people unhappy!

Some people think that it is necessary .First of all , English is an international language and they believe that this language will become more and more important in China .Secondly, good at English makes you keep pace with the times and is a beneficial preparation to go abroad in the future.

However, other people stand on a very different ground. They would rather spend more times to study major subjects.

In my point of view, my answer is positive. In conclusion, everybody wants to choose the answer that most benefit to them. So, it is a great benefit for me to choose a positive answer.
