趣味英语语法（2）
年月周前要用in，日子前面却不行。
遇到几号要用on，上午下午又是in。
要说某日上下午，用on换in才能行。
午夜黄昏须用at，黎明用它也不错。
at也用在明分前，说“差”可要用上to，
说“过”只可使用past，多说多练牢牢记，
莫让岁月空蹉跎。
基数词变序数词歌
基变序，有规律
词尾加上-ed (fourth,sixth)
一、二、三，特殊例，
结尾字母t,d,d (first,second,third)
八去t, 九去e, (eighth,ninth)
ve要用 f替; (fifth,twelfth)
ty将y改成i,
th前面有个e。
若是碰到几十几，
前用基来后用序。
分开“一段时间”，some time 表示“一段时间”;
相聚“在某一时”，sometime 表示“在某一时”;“有时”相聚加s，sometimes 表示“有时，不时”;“几次”分开带s，some times 表示“几次，次数”。

When the young waitress in the café in Tom's building started waving hello everyday. Tom was flattered, for she was at
least 15 years younger than he. One day she waved and beckoned to Tom again. When Tom strolled over, she asked,
"Are you single?"
"Why, yes," Tom replied, smiling at her broadly.
"So is my mom," she said. "Would you like to meet her?"

When he came home from school his grandma met him at the door.
"Was school all right?" she asked, "Did you get along all right? did you cry?"
"Cry?" John asked. "No, I didn't cry, but the teacher did!"
