I was told that the three Ps, patience, positive thinking and perseverance, was a sure path to success. And this advice does not always work as planned. My high school maths exam is one example. An exam, which was originally to be held in our classroom, was changed to the library at the last minute. It, however, didn't bother me because maths had always been my strongest subject. I patient walked to the library, took my seat and did some deep breathing to help relax me. But my mood changed quickly when I saw the first question. I had no idea what to do it. I was tried to stay positive and persevered until I finally found the solution. With the problem solving, I felt proud of my achievement.

Unfortunately, I then noticed that I had just 10 minutes left complete the rest.

Last month I went to the island of Lesvos in Greece for a holiday with my wife. Strange enough, even though I went there for a rest, I actually worked harder than I had ever done ago. Instead of spending my days on the beach sunbathing and swimming in the sea, I end up helping the locals deal with the endless arrival of refugees, many of them were struggling to get to the beach after their boats had turned over.

Anyway, this holiday turned out to be one of the most unforgettable experience of my life. When I’m alone these days, I am disturbed by the memories of the faces of parents who could not find out their children and the sound of people screamed for help. What the people of Lesvos did help these people, opening their homes to them and sharing the fewer possessions they themselves owned, was absolutely amazing. It was completely touched by the generosity of the people of Lesvos.

Plogging is a new fitness trend what combines jogging with picking up litter. Since it was creating in Sweden, it has swept across the world. Plogging have many advantages. To begin with, with some bending and arm strength requiring to hold all the garbage while plogging, you will work out very efficiently than just jogging. Secondly, plogging is suitable for all ages. You just need to carry the garbage bag as well as a pair of gloves. Furthermore, there is no doubt that plogging will lead to a cleaner environment and a better world to live. With the graduation day approaching, memory are flooding back to me. I remember how unwillingly I was to enter the classroom. “If I have studied harder before, I would have gone to a better senior high school,” I said it to myself. However, I later realized I fell in love with a school.

The campus scenery is pleasant. The antique pavilion (亭子), where stands on a small hillside, impresses me most. Surrounded green trees, I can admire the beautiful sunrise and sunset. I often wander around the charming pond and see myself reflecting in its transparent water. Any pains I have are smoothed and float away. The kind teachers and easy-going classmates also warm my heart and cheer me up when I am in low spirits.

My experience with a foreign language begins in junior middle school. I had a kind and patient English teacher which often praised all the students. Because his positive method, I eager answered all the questions I could, never worrying much about make mistakes. However, my experience in senior school was very difference from before. When my former teacher had been patient with all the student, my new teacher quickly punished those who gave incorrect answers. As a result, not only did he lose my joy in answering questions, but also I totally lost my desire to say anything at all in the English.

Last Friday, our class organized a visit to the city museum. We got to there by bus. First, we listened to the brief introduction to the museum. Then, we set out to exploring the museum in small groups. Which caught our attention first was some skillful carved bronze ware dating from the Shang Dynasty. Afterwards, we looked at some cultural relics relate to Shanxi merchants and local custom. To be honest. I felt amazing at the wide range of exhibits on display.

One evening after work, I found a beautiful little fox with a injured leg. She was like a Disney fox. Then I fed her some fish.
