一：主持人开场白

（1）主题：关于动物实验的辩论

（2）目的：认识到人类应该在尊重动物福利的合理性存在的同时以科学、认真、人道的态度来进行动物实验。

（3）方式：我们将会采取辩论的方式来展示我们的presentation.，（4）（4）我们先欣赏一个影片吧。

the host：good morning ，we are free loop ,it is our pleasure to show our presentation to you.our topic is “Debate about ani mal testing”. the purpose of our presentation is to recognize that human beings should exist in the rationality of the respect animal welfare，at the same time with scientific and serious attitude for animal experiments. We will take the debate's way to show it. Firstly ,Let's enjoy a movie:《猩球崛起:黎明之战》(Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

引出话题：生物医学的每一次重大发展与进步，几乎都与动物实验息息相关，动物实验由此奠定了在整个生物医学发展中的重要地位，但是，近年来由于动物保护运动的兴起，保护动物权利的呼声愈来愈高涨，动物实验面临动物权利论的伦理挑战。

（5）定义：到底什么是动物实验？是指为了弄清药物的性能，用动物进行试验。

What is animal testing? it is in order to find out the performance of the drug testing on animals.

二：辩论开始：

1 、现在让我们听听正反双方的想法吧。请双方表达各自的基本观点。Now let`s listen to the idea of both sides。Now ,please the two sides express your basic point.

（1）正方观点：生物医学的进步必须依赖动物实验，以达到研究甚至治愈疾病的目的。所以动物实验是必要的，应大力支持。

The advance of biomedicine have to depend on animal experiments to the goal of studying even healing sicknesses. Therefore animal experiments are absolutely necessary which should be supported powerfully.

（2）反方观点：如同人一样，动物也能感受痛苦与快乐，所有动物品种都是平等的，如果以一种导致痛苦、难受和死亡的方式来对待人在道德上是错误的，那么，以同样的方式来对待动物也是

错误的。应该平等地考虑人和动物的利益，把二者的利益看得同等重要。所以，我们不能牺牲人类，所以我们也不能牺牲无辜的动物，应该寻早其他的替代方法来促进科学的发展。

All animals are equal, animals can also feel pain like people.

Treating people in a pain way is wrong, so, to treat animals in the same way is also wrong. Therefore , we should consider the interests of the people and animals equally. So, we can't sacrifice the human and innocent animals .we should find other alternative methods to promote the development of science.

2、请举出例子论述各自观点。

（1）正方观点：没有人喜欢用动物做实验，这是不得已的选择。科学家们也会从物种等级角度去考虑问题。能用虫子，他们就不会用老鼠；能用老鼠，就不会用兔子。只要可以用任何其他动物代替，就不会用灵长类动物。

It’s really have to do experiments on animals though no one likes that. Researchers also consider the species level . They will not use mouses when worms are available ; Similarly ,they won’t use rabbits when mousses are feasible. They won’t use primates as long as it can be substituded by any other animals.
