1.询问如何乘坐公交工具
A: Excuse me. Could you tell me how to get to the National History Museum
B: Certainly,ma’am. It’s near the Science Museum. Are you familiar with the streets around here
A: No. I am a tour leade r from China. Today I’ll go to visit the museum with some tourists.
B: I see. How would you like to go Walking
A: I have no idea about it at all. Is it far from the hotel
B: Not really. You just go straight along this street,and after 6 blocks,you will see it on your left. A: How long will that take
B: About 30 minutes on foot.
A: How about taking the subway
B: Sure. It’s only two stops. Do you know which train to take
A: The A train,is it right I just looked at the city
map.
B: That’s right. You get off at the second stop,Cronwell Road,and you will see the National History Museum is opposite the stop.
A: What if I take a bus
B: It’s rush hour now. The traffic is terrible. If you take a bus,you may get stuck in the traffic jam.
A: I see. Do you know where the nearest subway station is
B: There is one at the corner. I’ll take you there. A: That is very kind of a lot.
B: Don’t mention it.
Subways(乘坐地铁)
A: Excuse me,sir. Is this the right subway to go to Chinatown
B: Yes. You get off at Canal Street.
A: Shall I take the express or local train
B: Take the express. It saves you a lot of time. The local train stops at every station.
A: How much is the fare
B: 30 cents. You can get a ticket from the ticket
machine.
A: What should I do with the ticket
B: You slip it into the slot at the turnstile and then push the turnstile to get in.
A: I see. Thanks a lot.

Scene 1
A: Excuse me,ma’am. Does this bus get to the City Square
B: Oh,no. You should take bus .
A: Thank you. Where can we take it
B: Near the mail office.

C: Fifty cents each person.

A: Can you take me to the Park Hotel
B: Sure,ma’am. May I help you with your luggage
A: No,thanks. I’d rather keep this case with me. How long does it take to get to the hotel
B: About 25 minutes if the traffic is not too heavy.

A: Hello. Is that the polic station
B: Yes. What can I do for you
A: We’re in a traffic accident.
B: Where did the accident happen
A: The accident is at the intersection of 50th avenue and Park Road.
B: Please keep the scene of the accident intact. We’ll come right now.
A: All right,sir.

A: It’s me who called you. We had a traffic accident.
A car hit our bus from behind and drove away.
B: Were you stopped at a red light
A: Yes. I’m pretty sure that the driver did not break any law.
B: I see. Did you see the car’s plate
A: I am sorry. I was in too much shock.
B: Alright. How about the color or the model
A: I think it was a white Volvo.
B: Great. May I see your driver’s license
A: Sorry,sir. I’m not the driver. I’m a tour leader from China.

A: The driver is seriously injured. He broke his arm. We’ve called an ambulance to send him to the hospital already.
B: Do you have your passport with you

B: Would you come with us to the police station
