That would require advanced schooling, beyond my bachelor’s degree——and I just wasn’tready to tackle that. I knew this was not where I belonged.But god knew what path my career was to follow. A position opened up at the most exclusive health club in our city, so I applied. This was my kind of environment——an active, vibrant kind of place——completely at the opposite end of the spectrum from the office environment where I found myself. The position required that I work Saturday nights and Sunday mornings. Perfect, I thought! I could keep my office job Monday through Friday and work at my dream job on the weekends. This arrangement lasted several months until, eventually, a full-timeposition opened up and I was able to resign from my office job.Over the next few years, I worked my way up the leader, gaining experience in several different departments. I found my niche as the director of member services——catering to our clientele and providing them with numerous cutting-edge programs. I would have stayed at that job forever——it seemed to be the pinnacle of all my dreams fulfilled. Here were fellow employees who had a passion for the same things that I did——health and fitness. Yet again, god had other plans for my life.Within two years, a newer, bigger, better and more state-of-the-art health club facility was built——just five miles down the road. 我不是一颗闪闪发光的钻石，我不是被众人瞩目的焦点；我不是雄伟高大的“世界屋脊”，
我不是天地间唯一的支柱；我只是一颗来自偶然的渺小的，无人在意的砂砾。然而在我心中
我有一个持之以恒地追求着的梦想，还有无数颗同我一样追求各自梦想砂砾，我们的梦，中
国的梦。潮起潮落，我挤在沙滩上的某一细小的角落。经历了香港的回归，澳门的回归，那
时我刚来到世上。那时中国梦的实现牵动了亿万个中国人的心，尽管那时我什么都不知道，
但是历史的点点滴滴如洒落在偌大沙滩上的砂石贝壳，我显然看到了历史的痕迹，流淌在岁
月里的中国梦。中国的梦一个一个的实现了，然而又承接的还有无数的中国梦。历史的镜头
下，正因为有无数人的坚持不懈，所以，梦想才得以实现。饱经沧桑，砂砾的翅膀总会受伤，
在梦想的呼唤中又一次的振奋。当砂砾在每一次在孤单中徘徊时，当梦想唤起，砂砾就会变

那个断臂钢琴王子刘伟吧？命运对她是如此的残酷，尽管恶魔夺走了他的双臂，但是他没有
放弃他对钢琴音乐的追求，他仍然坚持。令全世界震惊的是他竟然用脚趾弹奏出了人间最美
的音乐，正因为是他的信念与坚持才让他实现了他的梦想。还记得那个《我要上春晚》中的
没有双腿的舞蹈演员廖智么？舞蹈是要用双脚来跳的，一个舞蹈演员演出时是在用肢体动作
向观众传达自己的感情，因此，人们都认为没有双腿的人根本无法跳舞。但是她仍然“站“在
舞台中央，跪在鼓上的她表演了一出叫《鼓舞》的舞蹈。红绸飞舞，失去双腿的廖智用自己
残缺的身体在一面大鼓上旋转翻滚，做出各种高难度的舞蹈动作。这是一场震撼人心的演出，
现场掌声雷动，观众无不满含泪水地看完廖智这场令人难忘的舞蹈演出。她曾是一个一直站
在舞台上翩翩舞蹈的舞蹈演员，突然被地震带走了双腿。这是一种最沉重的打击，也许很多
舞蹈者会丧失了对舞蹈的追求，对梦想的执着，也许会走向黑暗，但是她却不。她依然展现
出了那样灿烂的笑容，她还为临床的养伤的小朋友”跳舞“。她有这样的一个信念，就是：没
有了双腿也一定要将自己的舞蹈事业继续下去。正因为有了这个信念，还有坚持，所以她才
会”站“在这个舞台上为我们每个人跳舞。支撑着廖智一直走到现在，成就了一个没有双腿的
舞蹈演员在舞台上的辉煌成就。砂砾们成就了不平凡的梦想，只因为坚持。梦想不断在变，
就如中国的命运一样。刚开始，人们只要吃饱饭就是幸福，那时社会十分的衰败，人们的生
活十分的凄凉，人们能够吃上饭就是幸福，一个馒头就是希望，就是幸福！吃饱饭就是每个
人的梦想！所以他们要为了能够吃饱饭而奋斗，拼搏，经历了这么多年，每个人的努力，每
个人的坚持，才走向如今这个社会。而现在我们衣食不愁，新的社会面貌，是曾经每一个中
国人的梦想，是中国梦的实现。前辈们不是神人，不是巨人，没有仙术，没有山大之力。但
是正因为他们的坚持，才让我们过上幸福的日子。而现在我们还要不断的进步，不断的发展，
不断的汲取曾经的教训，不断的奋斗，不断地拼搏，不断的追求更好的生活，更大的梦想。
我们要坚持下去！砂砾的梦想无奇多。小时候，我会说出无数个梦想，如：我想要一盒棒棒
糖，我想要吃好多好多的烧鸡，我想要一直上学，我想要当明星，我想要有很多的仆人，我
想要成为一个无忧无虑的公主，我想要一个很大很大的宫殿，我想要很多很多的玩具。……
对于儿时的梦想，就现在看来有很多事异想天开，有很多都已经实现。人总是要进步，现在
我又有了新的梦想，就是成为一名摄影师。而现在我还是一颗渺小的砂砾，我没有能力赚钱
买摄像机，我没有能力买胶卷，我没有能力学习。我还要一步一步的走，我还要踏踏实实的
走好每一步，一步一个脚印，并且我要坚持每一个脚印。相信只要坚持就会成功！我们渺小，
但我们不懦弱！我们会受伤，但我们很坚强！我们的梦想很遥远，但是我们很坚持！因为我
们是中国人！
