water repellent（防泼水，拨水），一般是在面料表面涂一层涂层，以让水珠在布面不会很容易地渗入，一般会在布面形成水滴（象荷叶那样）。

但不是真的防水，水停留时间长了还是会渗进里面的。

W/R处理的面料会因为洗涤和长时间使用而失效，哪怕Gore-Tex的W/R，也只是比普通的W/R耐用一些而已。
