为了满足水电站机组运行与检修的需要，在水电站的引水系统和水轮机的过流系统中，不同位置应装设相应的闸门或阀门对水流加以控制，如进水口的工作闸门和检修闸门、尾水管出口的检修闸门和水轮机蜗壳前的阀门等。通常将装设在水轮机蜗壳前的阀门称为主阀(又称进水阀)。水轮机进水球阀是水轮发电机组的取水咽喉所在，对水轮发电机组在运行中的安全运行有着重要的意义。

水轮机进水球阀是机组和电站的一种重要安全保护设备，通常只有全开和全关两种状态，不允许部分开启来调节流量，以免造成过大的水力损失和影响水流稳定而引起过大的振动。水轮机进水阀是水电站进水管线系统中截断或接通水流的控制设备。

对其工况要求：发电时必须可靠开启，并且在全开位要保持，不能出现误关现象；正常停机或事故关机时阀门必须可靠关闭。

本系统是一个水轮机主阀自动化系统，其主要控制对象为接力器操作的球阀型进水阀。通过以可编程控制器PLC为主要控制器，以油压装置为主要执行元件，以指示球阀开启和关闭的信号灯为主要显示器件，由中控室或球阀控制柜旁能实现球阀的自动启闭。根据需要，球阀可以单独启闭，亦可以在一个指令下和机组同时按程序启闭。所有操作程序由可编程控制器PLC来完成。构成了一个较为完善的水轮机主阀控制系统。

In order to meet the needs of hydropower station operation and maintenance, water diversion system of hydropower station and turbine flow system, the corresponding gate or valve should be installed at different locations to control the water flow, such as intake gate and repair of gates, bulkhead gate of draft tube exit and spiral case in front of the valve. Usually the valve will be installed in front of the turbine spiral case called the inlet valve (also known as the main valve). Progressive water polo valve of hydro-generating unit of hydraulic turbine intake throat, on the operation of turbine-generator unit in safe operation is of great significance.

Her condition requirements: must be reliable when power turned on, and fully opened, maintained, cannot appear by mistake closed; outages or accidents shut down valve must be reliable and close properly.

This system is an automation system main valve of hydraulic turbine, the main action of the relay to control the object ball valve-type water inlet valve. Programmable logic controller PLC by the main controller in order to pressure oil supply units for main actuators, signal lights to indicate that the ball valve is opened and closed as the main display, in the control room or control cabinet can achieve next ball valve ball valve automatically open and close. Depending on your needs, gate ball valve can be individually, in a directive, and units as well as opening and closing by program. All procedures done by PLC programmable controller. Constitute a better main valve of hydraulic turbine control systems.
