仁爱英语八年级(上)Unit3 Topic3 语法教学——过去进行时教学设计 宁德十中 孙瑛 一、设计思路: 1、活用新教材,提高教学有效性 新课标要求我们要善于结合实际教学需要,灵活地和有创造性地使用教材,对教材的内容、编排顺序、教学方法等方面进行适当的取舍或调整。可见,在新课程理念下,课本不是教学的全部内容,教材是可变的、发展的和开放的。而要实现这个基本理念,需要创造性地活用新教材,整合新教材,即要求教师在充分了解和把握课程标准、学科特点、教学目标、教材编写意图的基础上,以教材为载体,灵活有效地组织教学,拓展课堂教学空间。这是一节语法课,怎么将一节语法课上的既丰富而又生动?怎样在看似枯燥的语法课堂上培养学生综合的语言技能?因此,在设计本课的教学过程中,我主要以教学目标、内容、知识传授的深度和广度为主要依据,又结合学生现有的知识、技能、思维水平、学习心理等实际,灵活地、创造性地使用教材,防止教学中机械地以教材为本, 以本宣 科。本节语法课我使用了教材里的一个话题 “What were you doing at this time yesterday?”,该话题与学生的日常生活息息相关。虽然没有使用课本的教材,但我设计本节课的教学目标、教学要求与教学进度和课标要求是相匹配的,从而体现“We teach English not English textbooks”的教学理念。 2、依托多媒体,增强教学趣味性 一方面随着现代科技越来越多地走进学校,走进课堂,运用多媒体已成为初中英语课堂教学不可或缺的手段之一,它为教学注入了新的生机与活力。另一方面, 新课标提出英语教学要以人为本,促进人的发展,要关注学生、关注过程、关注发展。因此运用多媒体, 活用新教材,把这两者灵活地结合在一起,可以使课堂变得更加形象直观, 极大地推动与学生的互动。有利于激发学生学习的兴趣,提高课堂教学效率,对培养学生综合能力有着十分重要的意义。根据八年级学生的性格特点,本节课的教学策略,应注重情景教学法和多媒体辅助教学法,这样才能充分发挥教师的主导作用和学生的主体作用。本节课,制作多媒体课件的素材都是本班教师和学生的真实生活或学习场景,通过现代教育技术,为学生呈现出生动活泼且真实自然的语言环境,让学生有强烈的参与课堂的愿望,激发学生 的学习兴趣,进一步调动学生的学习主动性和积极性,从而打破传统的语法教学法,构建出有效的情景教学模式,使学生真正做到 “want to to, able to do and dare to to.” 3、小组合作学习,发展综合语言运用能力 本节课的设计思路还从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,设计一系列贴近学生生活实际的任务,由游戏导入、自由对话、头脑风暴,到引入新课,环环相扣,层层深入,同时拓展了话题的深度和广度;由work in pairs, work in groups 到 work in teams, 使学生主动学习、主动探究和主动建构的语言运用能力以及与他人交流和合作的能力得到提高;在教学过程中采用了以学生为主体的教学方法,使学生在整个学习过程中一直处于一种积极的主动的学习状态,即:学生与学生之间、教师与学生之间始终处于互动、合作的状态,以达到在用中学和学中用的境界,增强课堂教学的有效性。本节课运用了小组合作学习,让学生在观看视频材料后,人人参与小组讨论视频内容,互相帮助,共同完成习作参与班级展示。通过这样的教学设计,就能为学生创造自主学习和合作探究的机会。此外,还将游戏竞赛贯穿于各个环节中,改变过于强调接受学习、死记硬背、机 械练习的现象,倡导学生主动参与,乐于探究,勤于动手,培养学生搜集和处理信息的能力、获取新知识的能力及交流、合作的能力。 二、教学目标 1、认知目标: 了解过去进行时的定义、结构及用法,掌握基本句型“what were you doing at this time yesterday?” 2、 能力目标: 通过自身总结出来的过去进行时的句式结构和语言规律,能听、说、读、写并熟练运用于真实的语言环境中,较好地完成Groupwork中的写作任务。 3、情感目标: 通过游戏活动,使他们产生对英语学习的浓厚兴趣,让他们敢于开口、乐于开口,同时在学习中培养学生的合作意识、竞争意识以及团队协作精神。 三﹑ 教学重点:掌握过去进行时的基本结构。 四﹑教学难点:如何将过去进行时态运用到真实具体的语言环境中。 五、课前准备:多媒体课件 六、教学过程 1. 导入 Play a game : “ I act and you guess” .
